The police suppress protests, and Netanyahu believes that killing Hamas leaders will end the war.

Israeli media reported clashes between Israeli police and protesters in Bnei Brak east of Tel Aviv, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that killing Hamas leaders would end the war in Gaza.

Hundreds of Israelis demonstrated in several locations against the government, demanding the completion of a deal to return all "hostages" and end the war in Gaza.

In Haifa, protesters raised slogans accusing Netanyahu of endangering Israel.

For their part, the families of the captives, in their weekly press conference in Tel Aviv, said that Netanyahu seeks to sacrifice the "hostages" and soldiers for political purposes, accusing him of turning the war into an "eternal war" and expanding military operations in Gaza.

The families criticized Israel's bombing of Hamas leaders in Doha during negotiations for the exchange deal, describing it as a "gamble" with the lives of the "hostages."

On Saturday, the families of Israeli captives protested on Begin Road, near the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv, and Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the relatives of Israeli captives renewed their demand for U.S. President Donald Trump to pressure Netanyahu to finalize a deal that would lead to the release of their loved ones and stop the war in Gaza.

The newspaper quoted Omri Levshitz, son of released captive Oded Levshitz, stating that Netanyahu is doing everything possible to sabotage any agreement, and whenever there is an opportunity to reach an agreement and end this war, he ensures to blow it up.

This time, he literally blew up the negotiations, referring to the Israeli attack on Qatar.

For her part, Einav Tsangauker, mother of captive Matan Tsangauker, said that only public pressure will force Netanyahu to reach a comprehensive agreement for the release of the "kidnapped," according to Yedioth Ahronoth.

She added: Netanyahu threatens our state and sends soldiers into death traps for his political future, condemning us to an eternal war.

The opposition repeatedly asserts that Netanyahu is working to prolong the war in Gaza and refuses ceasefire proposals to serve his political interests, particularly his continued hold on power, responding to the most extreme right wing in his government that opposes ending the war.

On September 3, the Israeli army launched an aggression named Gideon 2 to completely occupy the city of Gaza (north), which sparked criticism and protests in Israel, fearing for the lives of the captives and soldiers.

Tel Aviv estimates that there are 48 Israeli captives in Gaza, of whom 20 are alive, while more than 10,800 Palestinians are imprisoned in its jails suffering from torture, starvation, and medical neglect, many of whom have died, according to Palestinian and Israeli human rights and media reports.

Targeting Hamas leaders in the meantime, Netanyahu stated on Saturday that "getting rid" of Hamas leaders would lead to ending the war in Gaza as the displacement movement from the northern sector continued with the occupation army intensifying its attacks.

Netanyahu accused Hamas leaders of repeatedly obstructing efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the sector.

He said in a post on X platform, "The terrorist Hamas leaders living in Qatar do not care about the people of Gaza. They have obstructed all attempts for a ceasefire to prolong the war indefinitely."

He added, "Getting rid of them will remove the main obstacle to the release of all our hostages and ending the war."

It is noteworthy that Hamas has repeatedly confirmed its readiness to release Israeli captives all at once, in exchange for ending the genocide war, the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza, and the release of Palestinian prisoners, but Netanyahu, wanted by international justice, evades by insisting on the continued occupation of Gaza.

Suspension of a prominent British doctor after her solidarity with Gaza and the resistance

The British National Health Service has suspended a prominent doctor after she expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli genocide and affirmed that the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) is a resistance movement and not a terrorist organization as claimed by the occupation.

According to the British Telegraph newspaper, on Saturday, Whittington Hospital in North London confirmed that pediatric consultant Dr. Eileen Krystals "is currently undergoing an internal investigation" and has no scheduled working hours at this time.

A source from the hospital management affiliated with the National Health Service confirmed that Dr. Krystals has been suspended from work.

The newspaper reported that Krystals posted a series of messages on social media alleged to be "anti-Semitic," which are statements criticizing Israel and its actions against the Palestinian people.

In one of the posts, the British doctor states that Hamas fighters are "wronged resistors and not terrorists."

The Telegraph noted that the hospital management was alerted to those posts after Krystals participated in a demonstration in London on September 6 of this year, demanding an end to the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

This suspension of the prominent doctor comes amid actions taking place in Britain against those who show solidarity with Palestine, where police have arrested hundreds of demonstrators condemning the Israeli genocide during protests in London over the past weeks and have prosecuted dozens of them on charges of supporting the "Action for Palestine" movement, which the government has banned and classified as a terrorist organization.

Human rights organizations condemned these actions, describing them as a violation of the law and a threat to freedom of expression.

Since October 2023, Israel - with American support - has been waging a genocide against the residents of the Gaza Strip, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring international calls to stop the war and orders from the International Court of Justice in this regard.

The genocide has resulted in more than 64,000 martyrs and 164,000 injured, with 420 Palestinians, including 145 children, having died due to starvation, according to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.

A global campaign to boycott Israeli cinema triples in intensity within days.

For a number of the biggest stars in Hollywood today, along with thousands of professionals from the film industry around the world, to sign a pledge to boycott all Israeli cinema institutions due to the war on Gaza is an important and unprecedented event, thus its effects were striking within Israel and among its supporters from international film institutions.

The pledge - which was issued earlier this week by a group of cinema workers for Palestine and signed by more than 4,000 actors, directors, and producers from around the world - calls on professionals in the global cinema field to boycott Israeli institutions, including festivals, cinemas, radio stations, and production companies.

According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, the number of signatories to the initiative has more than tripled since it was first issued on Monday, when 1,300 workers in the field signed it.

Hollywood stars who are among the prominent signatories of the initiative - the Israeli newspaper continues - include Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Tilda Swinton, Riz Ahmed, Javier Bardem, Ava DuVernay, and Yorgos Lanthimos.

The writer Haneen Majdali - in her column in Haaretz - mentioned that the Israeli Film and Television Producers Association quickly issued a statement asserting that the signatories of the pledge are targeting the wrong people, claiming that artists are the main voices that allow the public to hear and see the complexities of the conflict, including Palestinian narratives and criticisms of Israeli state policies.

Majdali spoke about films that contradict the official Israeli narrative, including films that addressed the Nakba of 1948, but she wondered why Israeli filmmakers see themselves as victims in this story, asking: "Do Israeli filmmakers express their opposition in a tangible way by refusing to serve in the occupation army and participating in a system that commits crimes against humanity? Or is their protest limited only to the realm of artistic creativity?"

She emphasized that the left, for example, shows opposition to the occupation, but still adheres to its duties when the army issues emergency call-up notices.

She said: "I am very aware of this flawed logic. Its essence is simple: opposition to the occupation, and a sincere belief that it is wrong and immoral, but without taking any tangible action, such as refusing to serve in the army or joining the reserve service."

She stressed that Israelis, including leftists, are either unable or unwilling to exert sufficient pressure on the government to stop the genocide, highlighting that for this reason, the world must intervene where Israelis fail.

She clarified that the boycott is not a retaliatory act "but a corrective mechanism," addressing the angry ones by saying: "The boycott may isolate you and make you pariahs on the international stage, but only until you realize that an empty declaration like (not in my name) is far from sufficient, because, in truth, it is in your name."

For its part, Paramount quickly condemned the boycott of Israeli cinema institutions due to the war on Gaza, stating in a statement that "silencing creative artists based on their nationality does not serve the cause of peace," according to Haaretz.

The Israeli newspaper reported that Paramount condemned the pledge of thousands of actors, directors, and producers from various parts of the world to boycott Israeli cinema institutions that they claim are complicit in genocide against Palestinians.

Paramount stated in its statement: "We do not agree with the recent efforts to boycott Israeli filmmakers," adding that "silencing individual creative artists based on their nationality does not promote understanding or serve the cause of peace; we need more engagement and communication, not less."

Meanwhile, the "Cinema Workers for Palestine" group - to the Associated Press - confirmed that its initiative "is based on historical struggles," particularly the successful international movement to end the apartheid system in South Africa, as reported by Haaretz.

It emphasized that if Israeli cinema institutions want to continue working with the signatories of the pledge, their choice is clear: "End complicity in genocide and apartheid in Israel, and recognize the full rights of the Palestinian people under international law."

Palestine calls on the international community for "bolder measures" to stop the genocide in Gaza.

Palestine warned on Saturday of the dangers of Israel's continued destruction of the Palestinian people's civilization in Gaza through acts of mass murder and the "extermination of residential towers."

It called on the international community to "adopt bolder methods to protect civilians" and to stop the extermination in the sector. This came in a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while Israel is conducting a comprehensive war on the city of Gaza targeting towers and residential buildings.

The ministry reiterated its warning "of the catastrophic risks resulting from the Israeli government's insistence on destroying the civilization of the Palestinian people in Gaza, committing acts of mass murder, and exterminating towers, homes of citizens, and institutions."

It added that the goal is "to force a million Palestinians to continue their forced displacement amidst explosions and live bombardment, with no safe place available throughout the sector, amid a comprehensive and systematic starvation war that steals their lives and drives them to displacement through occupation and the systematic destruction of all their means of living."

Since August 11, the Israeli army has completely destroyed 1,600 towers and residential buildings in the city of Gaza, and severely damaged nearly 2,000 other towers and buildings, in addition to 13,000 tents, causing the displacement of more than 100,000 people who were living in those homes and tents, according to a statement from the government media office in Gaza.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to break away from the conventional patterns of positions taken to stop the ceasefire and aggression against the Palestinian people "and to adopt bolder methods to protect Palestinian civilians and to deliver aid to them without conditions or obstacles."

It emphasized that the United Nations General Assembly's decision on Friday "provides a real and valuable opportunity to stop the war and give diplomatic efforts the space to dismantle narratives and calls for war and killing and to achieve calm, including the release of hostages (Israelis) and prisoners (Palestinians) and saving civilians and starting to implement the New York Declaration in all its details."

On Friday, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution supporting the "New York Declaration" regarding the recognition of the Palestinian state and enhancing the two-state solution to achieve a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue.

The declaration includes an agreement on "joint action to end the war in the Gaza Strip and to reach a just, peaceful, and lasting settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on the effective implementation of the two-state solution, and building a better future for Palestinians, Israelis, and all peoples of the region."

On August 8, the Israeli government approved a plan proposed by its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to gradually reoccupy the Gaza Strip completely, starting with the city of Gaza.

The Israeli army began its attack on the city on August 11, starting from the Zeitoun neighborhood (southeast), where the attack included the demolition of homes using explosive robots, artillery shelling, random gunfire, and forced displacement.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, resulting in 64,803 deaths and 164,264 injuries among Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, along with hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, and famine that has claimed the lives of 420 Palestinians, including 145 children.

A Palestinian dead in Ramallah and assaults by the army and settlers in Hebron

A Palestinian young man was martyred this evening, Saturday, in the city of Ramallah, succumbing to his injuries sustained days ago, while several Palestinians were injured due to being assaulted by settlers in the city of Hebron.

Sources reported that the young man, Muhammad Issa Alawi, was martyred as a result of the injuries he sustained days ago from the gunfire of settlers in the town of Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah in the West Bank.

Medical sources stated that the martyr was transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex after sustaining serious injuries, following the shooting of a group of young men by settlers near the road connecting Deir Jarir and Silwad.

Israeli occupation forces also stormed several towns in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate on Saturday evening, including Bil'in, Beitunia, Al-Mughayer, Turmus Ayya, and Kafr Ni'ma.

The forces raided commercial shops in Beitunia, confiscated surveillance camera recordings, and snipers took positions on the rooftops of buildings.

Additionally, the occupation forces set up a military checkpoint at the entrance of the villages of Shuqba and Shabtin, searched vehicles, and checked the identities of citizens.

In other developments, several Palestinian citizens were injured, including a woman, and two others were arrested following assaults carried out by settlers under the protection of occupation forces on the villages of Al-Rakeez and Al-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta south of Hebron.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported three injuries due to direct assaults with stones and sticks, while a woman was transferred to Yatta Government Hospital for treatment.

A Palestinian elderly man, who previously suffered an amputation of his leg, was also injured after a new assault by settlers in the village of Al-Rakeez, and the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from reaching him.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the month of August recorded more than 1,613 assaults on Palestinians and their properties in the West Bank, including 431 assaults carried out by settlers and 1,182 assaults committed by occupation forces, concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah, Nablus, and Hebron.

In parallel with the genocide against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, at least 1,020 Palestinians have been martyred by the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in addition to about 7,000 others injured, and more than 19,000 arrested, according to Palestinian data.

The West Bank.. Injuries among Palestinians in attacks by Israeli settlers

A number of Palestinians were injured on Saturday evening in attacks carried out by Zionist settlers in the occupied West Bank, according to eyewitnesses and government media.

In Masafer Yatta in the city of Hebron in the southern West Bank, settlers assaulted Palestinians after invading their residential areas in two small gatherings.

Osama Makhamra, an activist monitoring violations by the Israeli army and settlers, stated that "a number of settlers invaded Khirbat al-Rakeez (a small residential gathering) and the area of Shaab al-Tawana in Masafer Yatta south of Hebron city."

He added in an audio recording that "settlers released their sheep among the homes of citizens in the Rakeez gathering and assaulted the elderly Saeed al-Amour, resulting in an injury to his back, and he was subsequently taken to the hospital."

The Palestinian activist noted the "destruction of the elderly al-Amour's crutch, which he uses after losing one of his legs due to a previous injury from settlers' gunfire."

He also confirmed that a woman from the same gathering was injured and taken to the hospital, in addition to several injuries with bruises and contusions that were treated on-site.

Makhamra mentioned that settlers invaded the homes and caves of Palestinians and conducted searches, while the Israeli army arrested a number of citizens.

In central Hebron, the Israeli army deployed its forces and restricted the movement of Palestinian residents, coinciding with a weekly march attended by dozens of settlers.

In northern West Bank, Palestine TV reported that settlers burned agricultural lands in the town of Deir Sharaf west of Nablus city.

The official Palestinian news agency reported that a group of settlers invaded the outskirts of the towns of Sinjil and Umm Safa northeast and northwest of Ramallah city.

According to data from the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 431 attacks against Palestinians and their properties in the West Bank during August.

Alongside the genocide war on Gaza, the Israeli army and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,020 Palestinians.

The city of Gaza is being annihilated.. Israel is destroying UNRWA schools, towers, and homes that shelter displaced people.

The Israeli army has continued, since dawn on Saturday, to carry out systematic destruction operations targeting buildings, residential towers, and three schools belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Gaza City, as part of its plan to completely occupy the city, within the framework of the genocide it is committing in the sector with American support.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli warplanes launched a series of violent airstrikes targeting the "Al-Sit Soora," "Al-Alya," and "Shahibar" schools, which were sheltering thousands of displaced persons from the north and south of Gaza City, who refused to evacuate to the south.

The witnesses clarified that the army had previously warned the displaced individuals via phone calls about the necessity of evacuation, but it did not give them enough time to gather their essential belongings.

In addition to bombing the schools, the Israeli army continued to target neighborhoods and scattered residential areas in Gaza City. In the Beach Camp in the west of the city, Israeli planes bombed residential buildings belonging to the Daloo, Karizem, and Harzallah families.

In the Sabra neighborhood in the south of the city, the army destroyed the home of the "Lazun" family, resulting in casualties and injuries. It also targeted the Rimal neighborhood to the west with airstrikes on the home of the Al-Jarousha family, in addition to bombing a residential building near the Dawood Tower.

In the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood in the west of the city, the bombing hit the home of the Al-Nadim family, located near Al-Aqsa University, which shelters displaced persons. The army also destroyed the Al-Noor Tower, surrounded by thousands of displaced individuals living in makeshift tents.

In the Intelligence area, the army destroyed one of the residential towers, resulting in casualties and injuries. The airstrikes also targeted the home of the Al-Madhoun family in the northwest of the city near the Al-Karama roundabout, and the home of the Madooh family on Al-Yarmouk Street to the west, along with the home of the Al-Luban family in the north of the city.

Earlier on Saturday, the Israeli army dropped leaflets over wide areas of Gaza City warning Palestinians to evacuate and head to areas in the south of the sector, which Palestinians refuse.

On Friday, the government media office stated in a statement that the number of Palestinians residing in Gaza City is 1.3 million, while the Israeli army is trying to force them to evacuate to the Mawasi area in Rafah and Khan Younis in the south of the sector, which has a population of 800,000, lacking basic living necessities.

Since August 11, the Israeli army has completely destroyed 1,600 towers and residential buildings in Gaza City, and severely damaged about 2,000 other towers and buildings, in addition to 13,000 tents, displacing more than 100,000 individuals who were living in those homes and tents, according to the media office.

Gaza City is witnessing internal displacement as people flee from the intense Israeli airstrikes, with the vast majority now crowding into the western neighborhoods of the city, which have been subjected to concentrated and intensive Israeli bombing since Friday.

Olga Cherevko, a spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), stated earlier on Saturday that Israel has imposed a death sentence on Gaza City, indicating that Palestinians have no choice but to leave the city or die.

On September 3, the Israeli army launched an aggression named "Gideon's Chariots 2" to completely occupy Gaza City (north), which sparked criticism and protests in Israel, fearing for the lives of prisoners and soldiers in the sector.

This genocide has resulted in 64,803 deaths and 164,264 injuries among Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, along with hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, and famine that has claimed the lives of 420 Palestinians, including 145 children, as of Saturday.

Hamas to "Arab21": We did not receive intelligence information before the aggression against Qatar.

Mohammad Nazzal, a member of the political bureau of Hamas, denied the validity of all narratives circulated in the media and social media regarding the receipt of intelligence information by the movement prior to the Israeli occupation army launching an airstrike on the movement's leadership in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Nazzal said during a special interview: "The discussions that spoke of receiving intelligence information by the movement regarding the targeting operation before it occurred are not true at all. If there had been actual information, the home of the leader Khalil al-Hayya would have been evacuated from his family, and the same applies to the administrators and companions."

Israeli and American media claimed that Egypt and Turkey had informed prominent leaders in Hamas of serious warnings about potential assassination operations planned by the occupation prior to the Israeli aggression on Qatar.

In contrast, Nazzal revealed that "there were general intelligence warnings that reached us from friendly parties (which he did not name) indicating the occupation's intentions to target Hamas leaders abroad, and that the occupation would not adhere to previous rules of engagement, and that there is no longer any immunity for anyone or for a specific place, including Turkey and Qatar, in addition to the public threats issued by the political, military, and security leaders of the occupation."

He explained that "Hamas dealt with these public threats and intelligence warnings with high seriousness, took strict security and precautionary measures, and raised the level of security preparations in the places where the movement's leaders and cadres are located, and the treacherous operation failed thanks to the precautionary security measures taken by the movement's leadership."

When asked about the possibility of changes to Hamas's presence in Qatar in the upcoming phase, he replied: "The presence of the head of the political bureau and some of its members in Qatar is not new; it dates back to a quarter of a century and more. We appreciate Qatar's courageous and advanced positions in supporting the Palestinian cause and its people, and in hosting Hamas leaders. If Doha decides to end the hospitality period for the movement, we will respect its decision."

Regarding the future of negotiations, he continued: "It is too early to take a final position now regarding the course of the negotiation process. Hamas will study the position on negotiations within its leadership frameworks and will consult with Palestinian resistance factions and the mediators, and the final position will be announced after considering the positions of allies and friends."

He added: "Netanyahu is delusional if he thinks that the political, military, and security pressures he exerts on Hamas leaders will push them to change their compass or approach."

The targeting operation against the negotiating delegation of Hamas failed miserably; all the targeted leaders survived, and the best expression of what happened is the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted: "And Allah returned those who disbelieved with their rage; they did not attain any good."

Ironically, the delegation was meeting to discuss the American initiative to stop the genocide based on the dialogue that took place with the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, who had met with the negotiating delegation just a day before.

The missiles that were launched hit five of the administrative brothers and companions, including Hammam, the son of the brother Mujahid Khalil al-Hayya, in addition to the Qatari security man Badr Al-Humaidi Al-Dosari, which led to their immediate martyrdom.

Shrapnel from the missiles also hit sister Um Osama, the wife of brother Khalil al-Hayya, and the wife of martyr Hammam al-Hayya, and the grandson of al-Hayya, Abdul Rahman, the son of martyr Osama, but the injuries were minor, thank God.

While the survival of the negotiating delegation was due to God's kindness and care, and because of the precautionary security measures taken by the movement, which prevented the targeting of the delegation, which proves that the absolute power that the occupation boasts of is not an unchangeable fate.

There are press reports claiming that Egypt and Turkey warned Hamas before the strike on Doha.. how true is that?

All the narratives circulated in the media and social media about receiving intelligence information by Hamas regarding the targeting operation before it occurred are not true at all. If there had been information that actually reached us, the home of brother Khalil al-Hayya would have been evacuated from his family, and the same applies to the administrators and companions.

Civil Defense: Residents of Gaza City are facing ethnic cleansing.

The Civil Defense Authority in Gaza stated on Saturday that Palestinians in the city of Gaza are facing "ethnic cleansing" amid intensified Israeli bombardment and widespread destruction targeting what remains of buildings and shelters for the displaced, as part of Tel Aviv's efforts to reoccupy the area.

It added in a statement: "The residents of the city of Gaza are currently subjected to ethnic cleansing, and the occupation has reached a level of blind madness in its bombardment of schools that shelter the displaced and residential buildings located in densely populated neighborhoods, resulting in the martyrdom of dozens of civilians and the injury of hundreds more."

It confirmed that the city of Gaza is witnessing "extensive Israeli targeting and destruction of what remains of its residential buildings, to force citizens to leave, in implementation of the occupation's policy aimed at emptying the city of its inhabitants towards what it calls the narrow humanitarian area in the southern Gaza Strip."

The Civil Defense reported that "a state of extreme panic prevails among the displaced families in the city of Gaza, in light of the absence of shelters that include the minimum requirements for security and safety."

Earlier on Saturday, the government media office stated that the Israeli army has completely destroyed 1,600 towers and residential buildings in the city of Gaza since August 11, and has severely damaged about 2,000 towers and residential buildings, in addition to destroying 13,000 tents, which has led to the displacement of more than 100,000 people who lived in those homes and tents.

The Civil Defense called on countries, humanitarian organizations, and international bodies to "intervene urgently to stop the blind Israeli madness" targeting civilians and their remaining facilities in Gaza.

On August 8, the Israeli government approved a plan proposed by its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to gradually reoccupy the Gaza Strip entirely, starting with the city of Gaza.

The Israeli army began its attack on the city on August 11, starting with the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood (southeast), where the attack included the demolition of homes using explosive robots, artillery shelling, random gunfire, and forced displacement.

In the following weeks, the army expanded its aerial operations and policy of destroying residential neighborhoods to the Al-Sabra neighborhood in the south, then to neighborhoods in the northern part of the city and later to the west.

The areas that were subjected to extensive Israeli attacks witnessed internal displacement, as tens of thousands of Palestinians moved from the eastern and northern parts of the city to its western and central areas.

Trump and Whitaker meet with the Qatari Prime Minister in New York.

U.S. President Donald Trump and his Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, met with the Qatari Prime Minister at a dinner meeting in New York on Friday, three days after Israel, a U.S. ally, attacked the Qatari capital Doha in an attempt to assassinate the Palestinian negotiating delegation.

Israel attempted to assassinate Hamas leaders during their meeting in Qatar on Tuesday to discuss President Trump's recent proposal, a strike that disrupted U.S.-backed efforts to mediate a ceasefire in Gaza and end Israel's ongoing war on the besieged territory for nearly two years. The Israeli aggression has been widely condemned in the Middle East and beyond as an act that could escalate tensions in an already volatile region.

Trump reportedly expressed his displeasure over the raid in a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as publicly, and sought to reassure the Qataris that such attacks would not be repeated.

Joining the dinner meeting with Trump and Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani was Trump's senior advisor, special U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff. The Deputy Chief of Mission of Qatar, Hamad Al-Muftah, said on X: "Just finished a wonderful dinner with the U.S. President."

The dinner meeting in New York followed a one-hour meeting that Al Thani held at the White House on Friday with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

A source familiar with the meeting's proceedings reported that they discussed Qatar's future as a mediator in the region and defense cooperation following the Israeli strikes on Hamas in Doha.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry stated in a statement that Vance and Rubio expressed their appreciation for Qatar's tireless mediation efforts and its effective role in achieving peace in the region, and that Doha is "a trusted strategic ally of the United States."

Al Thani affirmed that Qatar "will take all necessary measures to protect its security and preserve its sovereignty in the face of the blatant Israeli attack," according to the statement.

Trump had expressed his dissatisfaction with the Israeli strike, describing it as a unilateral act that does not serve American or Israeli interests.

U.S. Secretary of State Rubio left for Israel on Saturday, where he is expected to speak to Israeli leaders about "our commitment to Israel's security and combating anti-Israel actions, including the unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state that rewards Hamas terrorism," according to U.S. State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott in a statement on Friday.

Washington considers Qatar, which hosts the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base, the largest U.S. base outside the United States (with 10,000 Americans), to be a strong Gulf ally. Doha has been a key mediator in the long-standing negotiations to halt the Israeli genocide war waged by the Israeli occupation army against Palestinians in Gaza, the release of detainees, and post-war plans for Gaza.

The Qatari Prime Minister, Al Thani, blamed Israel for attempting to sabotage peace opportunities, but stated that Qatar would not back down from its role as a mediator.

Israel failed to assassinate any of the senior Hamas leaders who gathered at the site of the raid on Tuesday in Doha.

Hamas identified the deceased as Jihad Labad, head of the senior Hamas official Khalil Al-Hayya's office; Khalil Al-Hayya's son, Hamam Al-Hayya; and three others described as "aides" - either advisors or personal guards: Abdullah Abdul Wahid, Moamen Hassouna, and Ahmed Abdul Malik. A Qatari security officer, Corporal Badr Saad Mohammed Al-Humaidi Al-Dosari, was also killed.

The official Qatari news agency reported that Doha will host an emergency Arab-Islamic summit on Sunday and Monday to discuss the Israeli attack.

Halifi admits: More than 200,000 victims in Gaza.. "We removed the gloves from the very first moment"

The former Chief of Staff of the Israeli occupation army, Herzi Halevi, revealed that: "The number of Palestinian dead and injured in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 200,000 people since the outbreak of the war on October 7, 2023," confirming that: "Military decisions were not constrained by any legal advice during the operations."

Halevi, who completed his duties in March after leading the army for 17 months of war, stated during a meeting with residents of the "Ein Habasor" settlement in southern occupied Palestine, that: "More than 10 percent of Gaza's population of 2.2 million have been killed or injured, which amounts to over 200,000 people."

Figures close to Gaza's statistics, according to the British newspaper The Guardian, indicate that: "Halevi's estimates are close to the statistics of the Gaza Ministry of Health, which Israeli officials always claim is propaganda for Hamas," while international humanitarian agencies consider them reliable.

Official figures indicate that 64,718 have been martyred and 163,859 injured so far, while thousands of victims remain under the rubble of destroyed homes.

"We took off the gloves from the very first moment," Halevi said in a recording published by the Hebrew website "Ynet": "This is not a nice war. We took off the gloves from the first minute, and unfortunately, we did not do so before October 7."

He confirmed that: "The army did not operate gently," while claiming at the same time that it adhered to international humanitarian law, which is denied by local and international human rights organizations.

In a striking comment, Halevi emphasized that: "No legal advice constrained his decisions or those of his subordinates in Gaza or outside it: No one ever constrained me. Neither the military legal advisor Yifat Tomer Yerushalmi nor anyone else. She does not have the authority to constrain me in the first place."

According to "Ynet," Halevi clarified that: "The importance of legal advisors within the army lies primarily in convincing the world of the legitimacy of what we are doing," saying: "There are legal advisors who know how to defend what we are doing before the world, and this is very important for the State of Israel."

Israeli human rights lawyer Michael Sfard commented on this by saying that: "Halevi's statements confirm that legal advisors are merely rubber stamps," adding: "Generals see them as ordinary advisors whose opinions can be taken or ignored, not as professionals who determine what is permissible and what is prohibited."

The newspaper "Haaretz" revealed that: "Halevi's successor as Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, also ignored the recommendation of the military legal advisor who urged delaying evacuation orders for about a million Palestinians from the city of Gaza until a minimum of shelters and services were available in the southern sector."

In a related context, the Israeli occupation army proceeded with its plans, leading to the exacerbation of the civilian tragedy. On Friday, nearly 40 Palestinians were martyred in a reckless Israeli bombardment, primarily targeting areas in Gaza, including many who were unable to leave their homes or refused to be forcibly displaced to southern areas without shelter or protection from the bombardment.

As the Israeli occupation continues its attacks on the sector for the second consecutive year, Halevi's statements confirm that: "The war has been characterized from its very first moment by a 'scorched earth' policy, far from any legal constraints or humanitarian considerations, at a time when international pressure on Tel Aviv is escalating due to the scale of the humanitarian disaster it has left in Gaza.

A women's ship within the "Fleet of Resilience".. A message of solidarity with the women of Gaza.

Fifteen activists are participating in the Global Resilience Fleet, which intends to head towards the besieged Gaza Strip, as a sign of solidarity with Palestinian women in the area.

Malika, a nurse from France, stated that "the global fleet consists of dozens of ships, and there is one ship specifically for women, carrying 15 women on board."

Malika confirmed that "the women of Gaza are without resources, standing against (Israeli) destruction and teaching us a lesson in humanity."

She added: "Our main goal is to break the Israeli siege on Gaza and establish a humanitarian corridor, where no humanitarian aid is allowed in, and in light of the ineffectiveness of governments, we are working to achieve that."

Earlier, Khaled Bajjuma, a member of the Maghreb Fleet Management Committee, said that foreign ships will sail from the port of Bizerte towards Gaza today.

The "Global Resilience Fleet" currently includes nearly 50 ships gathered at Tunisian ports, including a Maghreb convoy of 23 ships.

Since March 2, the occupying state has closed all crossings leading to Gaza, preventing any food, medicine, or humanitarian aid, plunging the area into famine.

With American support, the occupying state has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 64,803 deaths and 164,264 injuries among Palestinians.

Israeli settlers attack Palestinians and their property in the West Bank.

On Saturday, settlers under the protection of the occupation army attacked Palestinians and their properties in various areas of the occupied West Bank.

The settlers' attacks were distributed across the provinces of Jerusalem, Nablus, Bethlehem, Hebron, Jericho, and the northern Jordan Valley.

In the town of Jaba, northeast of Jerusalem, settlers set fire to several homes, causing significant property damage and instilling fear and terror among the residents.

The Bader Organization stated that these practices aim to displace Palestinian residents and impose a new settlement reality.

In Khirbat Bziq in the northern Jordan Valley, settlers, protected by the army, attacked farmers while they were working in their lands and threatened them.

A group of settlers also organized provocative tours in the Shkara area east of the town of Duma, accompanied by the army.

In the southern West Bank, a settler released his sheep in the area of Tel Ma'in, while other settlers caused damage to trees and agricultural crops.

The Bader Organization confirmed that settlers stormed the Bedouin community of Shalal al-Auja north of Jericho and released their sheep among the citizens' homes.

Alongside the genocide war on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank have killed at least 1,020 Palestinians and injured about 7,000 others.

Gaza Health: Severe shortage of blood units and decline in donation campaigns due to the spread of famine.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza warned on Saturday of a severe shortage of blood units in the hospitals of the sector, amid a decline in donation campaigns due to the spread of malnutrition resulting from Israeli starvation policies, issuing an urgent call for relevant authorities to intervene and bolster blood unit supplies.

The ministry stated in a statement: "Blood banks in hospitals are suffering from a severe and dangerous shortage of blood units and their components."

It continued: "The nature of the serious injuries arriving at hospitals requires additional units of blood to save lives."

It noted that the daily need for blood units and their components exceeds 350 units, pointing out the decline in sources to enhance blood unit supplies and their components, including community donation campaigns due to the spread of famine and malnutrition.

The ministry called on all relevant authorities to urgently intervene to "enhance blood unit supplies and their components in the hospitals of the sector."

Repeatedly, the ministry has issued warnings about the dangers of the acute shortage of blood units on the lives of Palestinian patients and injured individuals, amid escalating Israeli attacks that result in hundreds of injuries requiring blood units.

With the spread of famine, many Palestinians have been unable to donate blood due to malnutrition, as they were the last source for obtaining those units amid the intensification of the Israeli blockade.

In addition to the significant shortage of blood units, the health sector in Gaza is suffering from a severe lack of medicines and medical supplies due to the near-total Israeli closure of crossings since March of last year against relief, humanitarian, and medical aid.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupying state, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

This genocide has resulted in 64,803 deaths and 164,264 injuries among Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, along with hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals, and famine that has claimed the lives of 420 Palestinians, including 145 children, as of Saturday.

"The world sees the truth".. This is how images of Gaza changed the West's perception of "Israel"

The American newspaper "The Wall Street Journal" published a report revealing that: the war on Gaza has weakened global sympathy for the Israeli occupying state, making it a pariah state even among its allies, due to its blatant violations of all international laws and treaties related to human rights.

According to the American newspaper, "the Empire State Building in the United States, the Eiffel Tower in France, and the Brandenburg Gate in Germany were illuminated in the colors of the Israeli flag after October 7, indicating that many Western countries stood by it."

It continued: "However, over the past two years, the ongoing war on Gaza has eroded this sympathy, due to the killing and displacement of tens of thousands of civilians, the starvation of Gaza's residents, and the regular broadcasting of this on billions of phones around the world."

"The Israeli attack this week on the political leadership of Hamas in Qatar was a controversial step taken by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government, which has become bolder in attacking its enemies without regard for international public opinion," according to the same source.

The article highlighted that although the Israeli occupying state had previously carried out targeted assassinations in hostile countries like Lebanon and Iran, this operation took place on the territory of a U.S. ally (Qatar) and targeted Hamas leaders who had gathered to discuss a U.S. proposal for a ceasefire, implying that the Israeli occupying state is not interested in negotiations.

U.S. President Donald Trump strongly criticized the strike, stating that it "does not serve American or Israeli interests," while Germany and the United Kingdom condemned the strike, and Canada stated that it is "evaluating its relationship with Israel."

In this context, Trump expressed concern about the damage the Israeli occupying state is inflicting on its reputation, saying: "They may win the war, but they are not winning the public relations world, and that hurts them, as you know," at a time when 60 percent of Americans say they do not approve of the Israeli military action in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Additionally, "The Wall Street Journal" pointed out that: "The ongoing war in Gaza has led to an increase in anti-Semitism worldwide, complicating the lives of millions of Jews, with nearly half of British adults saying that Israel treats Palestinians as the Nazis treated Jews during the Holocaust."

For his part, Michael Koplow from the Israeli Policy Forum emphasized, saying: "When the war stops, things will not return to how they were. Israel's image among people will change permanently, and this leaves various impacts on Israel economically, diplomatically, and militarily."

The newspaper went on to say: "Israel has always been keen to consider the prevailing impression of it abroad because it needs strong allies as it claims to be in a hostile neighborhood, and because it needs sympathy as the only state for Jews in the world, but the war has stripped it of the characteristic that elicits sympathy."

"The Wall Street Journal" reported that: several Western countries friendly to the Israeli occupying state have resolved to recognize a Palestinian state, and even Germany, which is the second-largest arms supplier to the Israeli occupying state, has suspended some of its exports.

Moreover, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, a supporter of the Israeli occupying state, recently stated: "We have not hesitated to defend Israel, but at the same time, we cannot remain silent now in the face of a response that exceeds the principle of proportionality."

The article concluded by saying: "Israel may reject the International Court of Justice's ruling that it committed genocide," while questioning: "What happens when a former Israeli soldier tries to travel through Europe or South America?".

Israeli media: Netanyahu attacked Qatar because he learned that Hamas would respond positively.

Israeli media addressed the accusations directed at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government following the operation that targeted leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Qatari capital, considering that the timing of the strike was not coincidental but came after Israel learned that Hamas would respond positively to the proposals of the deal.

Political affairs correspondent at Channel 11, Michael Shimshon, revealed that the statements of Mossad chief David Barnea two weeks before the operation contained signals regarding plans to assassinate Hamas leaders abroad, even within Qatar, but he clarified to cabinet ministers that such a step should not be taken during negotiations.

Shimshon pointed out that Barnea confirmed during the session that "there are currently no negotiations," which implies approval for the assassination, but he later reiterated that the timing was not appropriate, calling for waiting until the outlines of the initiative proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump became clear.

However, the final decision rested with Netanyahu. Former head of the prison service intelligence, Yuval Biton, questioned the true objective of this operation, considering that the attempt to push Hamas to make concessions would not succeed, affirming that it would not change its demands even if all its leaders were assassinated.

Meanwhile, Knesset member from the "There is a Future" party, Ram Ben Barak, criticized the timing of this operation, explaining that Israel was in the midst of discussions regarding a prisoner deal, which is a top priority. However, he expressed doubt about the considerations that led Netanyahu to set this timing.

For his part, national security and northern front expert Kobi Marom described the decision as a deliberate cancellation of the prisoner issue from the agenda, noting that the security leadership opposed the operation and preferred to give negotiations a chance, yet Netanyahu chose to proceed with the attack.

Rochama Yuhifot (mother of one of the prisoners held by Hamas) held Trump responsible, stating that he gave the green light for this operation, and called on him to intervene to correct what she described as "the great mistake."

She affirmed that she was certain Hamas would provide a positive response had the strike not been carried out. Yuhifot added that the families of the prisoners are living in a state of continuous suffering due to these policies, emphasizing that her priority is to recover her son, not to engage in complex political and security calculations.

Expert Marom returned to point out that Israel was aware that Hamas would accept the partial deal, but he clarified that the comprehensive deal had not yet been finalized, making the timing extremely sensitive.

The mother of the Israeli prisoner conveyed the families' feelings of frustration, confirming that the government repeatedly tries at the expense of the prisoners and their families, at a time when she believes that the window for a positive response from Hamas was close, but the operation completely cut it off.

Trump promises to "settle the situation" in Gaza.. and reveals information regarding the prisoners.

U.S. President Donald Trump suggested that two of the twenty hostages still held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip may have been killed. Trump stated in a press interview: "I told Hamas that we want to get our hostages back. We have recovered all Americans so far, but now I am mainly talking about the Israeli hostages."

Trump clarified that "the United States will resolve the situation in Gaza," without specifying the nature of this resolution or whether it includes diplomatic or military actions.

On Friday, a White House official said that U.S. President Donald Trump intends to hold a meeting in New York with Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, just days after the Israeli occupation attacked prominent Hamas leaders in Doha, a development that raised widespread concerns about the future of Qatari mediation in the ceasefire negotiations regarding Gaza and the completion of a prisoner exchange deal.

According to diplomatic sources, the meeting will focus on discussing the implications of the Israeli strike and the possibility of salvaging the mediation efforts sponsored by Doha with U.S. support to end the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip for two years.

The Israeli occupation had launched an airstrike last Tuesday in the Qatari capital targeting Hamas leaders, including Khaled Mashal and Khalil Hayya, but the leaders survived the bombing after leaving the meeting place just before the strike.

In this context, many Arab and Western capitals considered the operation to be a "serious escalation" that threatens to drag the region into further tension, especially since Qatar hosts a U.S. military base and plays a pivotal role in mediating between the Israeli occupation and Hamas.

The U.S. President expressed his dissatisfaction with the attack in press statements, describing the strike as "a unilateral action that does not serve American or Israeli interests." He added that his administration tried to dissuade the Israeli occupation from carrying out the operation, but they were only informed of the decision at a late hour.

For his part, the Qatari Prime Minister accused the Israeli occupation of trying to "sabotage peace opportunities," affirming in an interview with CNN that his country "will not back down from its role as a mediator regardless of the pressures."

In the same context, the U.S. State Department announced that Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who also serves as Trump's national security advisor, will meet today with the Qatari Prime Minister at the White House to discuss mechanisms for containing the repercussions of the Israeli occupation's attack and ensuring the continuation of diplomatic efforts.

According to a report published by the Hebrew channel "Kan 11," the operation itself faced internal objections from security leaders in the Israeli occupation state, including Mossad chief David Barnea, who warned that targeting Qatar – as the central mediator – represents a "strategic mistake" that could undermine the chances of reaching a prisoner exchange deal or a ceasefire.

Israeli assessment: Qatar's attack failed to kill Hamas leaders... and jeopardized America's standing.

The confidence of Israeli security agencies has increased regarding the survival of any senior targeted figures following the assassination attempt on Hamas leaders earlier this week. Estimates suggest that two of them may have been injured, but their lives are not in danger, which may explain their absence from public appearances in recent days.

Yaron Abraham, a reporter for Channel 12 News, showed that the missile fired at the complex hit part of the building while the targeted senior officials were in another wing. Although they were injured in the explosion, it did not result in their deaths.

Abraham added that it is likely that the senior officials were not present in the building at the time. According to him, some Hamas security personnel indicate that this is routine, as senior officials constantly change their locations, and it is not ruled out that they received a prior warning that prompted them to leave the area.

This means that the senior officials, against whom Israel launched an attack, were not in the apartment at all; rather, there were only security guards, lower-ranking officers, and members of their families. The proposed explanation is that the senior Hamas leaders received a prior warning notification.

After Abraham's statements, reporter Almog Boker provided details of the attack, revealing that Israeli intelligence officials had been monitoring the attacked building since 2014. He also noted that since the moment of the attack, all targeted individuals, who are prominent figures in Hamas, have been hiding underground and have lost contact with the outside world.

He then addressed Qatar's response to the attack, citing a security source who said: "Qatar is indeed confirming that it will not abandon negotiations, and Hamas officials do not rule out returning to talks."

The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Israel launched long-range missiles from the Red Sea towards Doha, in an operation that can no longer be stopped despite American satellite systems detecting those missiles and aircraft.

The Wall Street Journal revealed in its report that the aim of this scheme is to enable a rapid response and deprive the United States of any real capability to resist in real-time, as eight F-15 aircraft and four F-35 aircraft headed to the Red Sea and launched long-range ballistic missiles that passed over Saudi Arabia on their way to Doha.

According to the report, Israel informed the U.S. military just minutes before the attack, without providing precise information about the targets. However, the thermal signals detected by American satellites indicated that Doha was the target, but at this stage, the attack could no longer be stopped.

An American security source described the operation as "completely out of the question." The Wall Street Journal also reported that Israeli aircraft fired more than ten missiles at Hamas offices in Doha from outside Qatari airspace.

The distance from Tel Aviv to Doha is more than 1800 kilometers, but the aircraft were able to get close enough to launch long-range guided missiles.

As for the Washington Post, citing Israeli sources, it reported that the Mossad opposed the move to eliminate prominent Hamas figures in Qatar. According to the newspaper, Mossad chief David Barnea hesitated to implement the plan through field agents, fearing it would negatively impact the Mossad's relationship with Qatar, which has been a key mediator in negotiations between Israel and Hamas.

The Hebrew newspaper adds that researchers and analysts in Israel warned that this step reinforces the regional perception that Israel is acting as a "rogue state," and in the United States, they confirmed that the attack could harm efforts to establish a joint air defense system with Arab countries against Iran, especially considering Qatar's central location, which hosts thousands of American soldiers at Al Udeid Air Base, potentially jeopardizing its status as a key partner.

For his part, a senior Hamas leader viewed the correctness of the procedures and arrangements of the movement's and Qatar's security system as a major reason for the failure of the assassination attempt carried out by Israel in Doha, denying that any informational assistance was received from any external party regarding the attack in Doha.

The emergency Doha summit.. a test for Arabs and Muslims in facing the dreams of expansion and tendencies of arrogance.

Dr. Said Shaheen: The Doha Summit is a necessity and will not be formal or symbolic; it may witness practical and deterrent steps to curb the occupation's ambitions.

Noor Awda: An opportunity to show solidarity through practical steps that determine the ability to confront Israeli assaults and enhance Qatar's role.

Dr. Abdul Majid Suwailem: The summit may be limited to statements of condemnation and denunciation, raising the ceiling of political discourse without accompanying deterrent measures.

Dr. Riham Awda: It is not unlikely that Qatar's role in mediation will be suspended, as well as the declaration that the Israeli delegation is "not welcome" in Doha.

Nizar Nazzal: The upcoming summit carries politically significant messages, whether towards Israel, the international community, or the Arab and Islamic peoples.

Dr. Mohamed Al-Tamawi: The summit shows that the issue is no longer limited to Gaza only, but has turned into a regional security matter that affects Arab dignity and sovereignty.

The Qatari capital, Doha, is preparing to host an emergency Arab-Islamic summit tomorrow, Sunday, at a time when the region is witnessing escalating tensions following the Israeli attack on Hamas leaders inside Qatar. The summit gains exceptional importance as it transcends the context of the Gaza war to become a regional security issue related to dignity and Arab sovereignty, raising questions about the ability of participating countries to take a unified and effective stance against Israeli threats.

According to analyses from writers, analysts, specialists, and university professors in separate conversations with "Y," the summit carries multiple messages, the most prominent of which is the rejection of targeting the sovereignty of Arab states, affirming support for Qatar in its role as a key mediator, and rejecting any attempts to undermine or disrupt this role, in addition to a symbolic and practical message to support the Palestinian people and uphold their political and human rights.

Writers, analysts, specialists, and university professors emphasize that the anticipated summit places the international community before its responsibilities, demanding an end to violations of international laws and the protection of regional stability from any future assaults.

As for the potential outcomes of the summit, according to writers, analysts, specialists, and university professors, several scenarios may unfold, starting from issuing strong condemnation statements against the Israeli aggression and maintaining the unity of the Arab and Islamic stance, moving through organized diplomatic action via Arab and Islamic ministerial committees to exert pressure on Israel through the United Nations and the Security Council, and reaching more escalatory steps that include economic sanctions or reviewing normalization agreements, and perhaps even imposing measures to protect mediators and ensure the continuity of negotiation tracks, making the summit an opportunity to define the ceiling of practical and political movements in facing current challenges.

Israel continues to implement its plans to destabilize the region.

Dr. Said Shaheen, a professor of political media at Hebron University, confirms that the summit scheduled to be held in the Qatari capital Doha next week represents a "critical necessity" in light of the growing challenges and threats posed by Israel with direct support from the United States, following the recent aggression against Qatar and the attempted assassination of the Palestinian negotiating delegation represented by Hamas leaders, alongside the ongoing genocide in Gaza with all its humanitarian dimensions.

Shaheen clarifies that Israel is not content with its aggression against Gaza but continues to implement its plans to destabilize the region and undermine regional and international peace, benefiting from the cover of the U.S. administration led by Donald Trump and some Western countries that stand by it.

Shaheen points out that the occupation has become "rampant in the region" after targeting Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria, in addition to continuing its war of destruction, starvation, and cleansing in the besieged sector.

Multiple messages for the summit.

Shaheen notes that the summit carries multiple messages, the most prominent of which is that the participating countries recognize the magnitude of the threat to Arab national security and the sovereignty of states, as well as the blatant violation of international laws and norms.

The most important message of the summit, according to Shaheen, is the affirmation of the Islamic countries' support for Qatar in facing the "blatant aggression," which does not target Doha alone but threatens the Gulf states and the entire Arab and Islamic region.

He points out that the summit will not be formal or symbolic; it may witness practical and deterrent steps to curb the Israeli occupation's ambitions if it continues its aggression.
