Palestinian Football Association: The martyrdom of young player Muhammad Sultan and 14 members of his family in an airstrike on Gaza.

The Palestinian Football Association announced the martyrdom of the young player Mohammed Ramez Sultan, aged 15, along with 14 members of his family, as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted their home in the Al-Tawam area in northern Gaza Strip.

Sultan, who played for the youth team of Al-Sadaqa Sports Club, was a graduate of the Al-Hilal Academy accredited by FIFA and was known as one of the promising football talents and a supporter of the Spanish club Real Madrid.

With the martyrdom of Sultan and his family, the total number of martyrs from the Palestinian sports and scouting movement due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rises to more than 800 martyrs, including 125 children.

According to the association's data, the sport of football alone has lost 325 of its members, including players, coaches, referees, administrators, as well as members and presidents of club boards.

Statistics released by the association indicate that the most affected age group among the sports martyrs is the youth and juniors aged 6 to 20 years, followed by the age group of 20 to 30 years.
