Hamas to "Arab21": We did not receive intelligence information before the aggression against Qatar.

Mohammad Nazzal, a member of the political bureau of Hamas, denied the validity of all narratives circulated in the media and social media regarding the receipt of intelligence information by the movement prior to the Israeli occupation army launching an airstrike on the movement's leadership in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Nazzal said during a special interview: "The discussions that spoke of receiving intelligence information by the movement regarding the targeting operation before it occurred are not true at all. If there had been actual information, the home of the leader Khalil al-Hayya would have been evacuated from his family, and the same applies to the administrators and companions."

Israeli and American media claimed that Egypt and Turkey had informed prominent leaders in Hamas of serious warnings about potential assassination operations planned by the occupation prior to the Israeli aggression on Qatar.

In contrast, Nazzal revealed that "there were general intelligence warnings that reached us from friendly parties (which he did not name) indicating the occupation's intentions to target Hamas leaders abroad, and that the occupation would not adhere to previous rules of engagement, and that there is no longer any immunity for anyone or for a specific place, including Turkey and Qatar, in addition to the public threats issued by the political, military, and security leaders of the occupation."

He explained that "Hamas dealt with these public threats and intelligence warnings with high seriousness, took strict security and precautionary measures, and raised the level of security preparations in the places where the movement's leaders and cadres are located, and the treacherous operation failed thanks to the precautionary security measures taken by the movement's leadership."

When asked about the possibility of changes to Hamas's presence in Qatar in the upcoming phase, he replied: "The presence of the head of the political bureau and some of its members in Qatar is not new; it dates back to a quarter of a century and more. We appreciate Qatar's courageous and advanced positions in supporting the Palestinian cause and its people, and in hosting Hamas leaders. If Doha decides to end the hospitality period for the movement, we will respect its decision."

Regarding the future of negotiations, he continued: "It is too early to take a final position now regarding the course of the negotiation process. Hamas will study the position on negotiations within its leadership frameworks and will consult with Palestinian resistance factions and the mediators, and the final position will be announced after considering the positions of allies and friends."

He added: "Netanyahu is delusional if he thinks that the political, military, and security pressures he exerts on Hamas leaders will push them to change their compass or approach."

The targeting operation against the negotiating delegation of Hamas failed miserably; all the targeted leaders survived, and the best expression of what happened is the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted: "And Allah returned those who disbelieved with their rage; they did not attain any good."

Ironically, the delegation was meeting to discuss the American initiative to stop the genocide based on the dialogue that took place with the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, who had met with the negotiating delegation just a day before.

The missiles that were launched hit five of the administrative brothers and companions, including Hammam, the son of the brother Mujahid Khalil al-Hayya, in addition to the Qatari security man Badr Al-Humaidi Al-Dosari, which led to their immediate martyrdom.

Shrapnel from the missiles also hit sister Um Osama, the wife of brother Khalil al-Hayya, and the wife of martyr Hammam al-Hayya, and the grandson of al-Hayya, Abdul Rahman, the son of martyr Osama, but the injuries were minor, thank God.

While the survival of the negotiating delegation was due to God's kindness and care, and because of the precautionary security measures taken by the movement, which prevented the targeting of the delegation, which proves that the absolute power that the occupation boasts of is not an unchangeable fate.

There are press reports claiming that Egypt and Turkey warned Hamas before the strike on Doha.. how true is that?

All the narratives circulated in the media and social media about receiving intelligence information by Hamas regarding the targeting operation before it occurred are not true at all.
