Britain: Israel's new attack on Gaza is irresponsible

British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said that the ground attacks launched by the Israeli army to occupy the city of Gaza are "irresponsible and horrifying."

Cooper added: "The new attack by the Israeli army on Gaza is completely irresponsible and horrifying." She noted that this step "will lead to more bloodshed, the killing of more innocent civilians, and endanger the remaining hostages."

She continued: "We need an immediate ceasefire, the release of all hostages, unlimited humanitarian aid, and a pathway to lasting peace."

Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli army announced the start of a wide-ranging ground operation in the city of Gaza. The Israeli army stated: "The activities of the forces have begun according to the operational plan and are set to expand based on the assessment of the situation."

This came alongside a violent Israeli attack on the city of Gaza, where Palestinians experienced a bloody night during which 46 people were killed, while others were injured and missing, amid intense aerial and artillery bombardment, and the detonation of explosive robots to demolish homes and residential buildings in the northwest of the city.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 64,964 dead and 165,312 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, along with famine that has killed 428 Palestinians, including 146 children.

Palestinian Cabinet calls for urgent international action to save the Gaza Strip and stop the escalating crimes of the occupation.

The Cabinet called on various countries of the world during its weekly session today, Tuesday, to take urgent action to save the Gaza Strip, in light of the announcement by the occupying army of the start of a ground invasion of the city of Gaza after threatening its residents and demanding their forced evacuation.

It emphasized that putting Palestinians in front of two options: death or displacement, is a precedent not seen in modern history, and can only be described as a complete war crime against two million Palestinian civilians whom the occupation has relentlessly tormented through killing, burning, and starving, depriving those who survived of the most basic necessities of life.

The Cabinet also strongly condemned the escalation of the occupation's practices, including the doubling of closure measures, land confiscation, and the installation of barriers and iron gates at the entrances of Palestinian villages, which have exceeded a thousand, carrying with it collective punishment and racial segregation that has extended deep into Palestinian territories.

It also denounced the increasing targeting of Palestinian workers, martyrs of a livelihood, by occupation soldiers in areas of contact, where they are killed in cold blood without posing any threat.

The Council warned of the danger of the occupation's decision to control the internal courtyard of the Ibrahimi Mosque under the pretext of its ceiling, considering this a blatant violation of all international norms and laws.

The Council affirmed that what is happening today in the Judaization and targeting of the blessed Ibrahimi Sanctuary is not merely a Palestinian issue, but a blatant assault on a global human heritage that belongs to all humanity.

In light of this, the Council directed the relevant authorities to take urgent action with international organizations, led by UNESCO, to pressure towards stopping these occupying practices.

Additionally, Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa briefed the Council members on the political movements and diplomatic efforts led by the President in preparation for the international summit to support the New York Declaration.

The Cabinet approved the recommendations of the national team to combat the flooding of the local market with low-value and low-specification products, especially in the clothing, footwear, stone, and cleaning sectors as a first phase.

The Cabinet also discussed the steps taken to resume work on the wastewater treatment plant project in Hebron and approved the additional annex to the consulting services contract to oversee the project.

It approved the strategy for micro, small, and medium enterprises, which will contribute to the sustainable growth and development of the national economy.

The Council discussed in the second reading the national energy efficiency plan in Palestine for the years 2025-2030.

United Nations: Israel's expansion of its ground operation in Gaza is a "massacre" that must be stopped.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, on Tuesday condemned Israel's expansion of its ground operation in the city of Gaza, deeming what is happening "completely unacceptable" and calling for an end to the ongoing "massacre."

Turk stated in press remarks today: "The whole world is crying out for peace. Palestinians and Israelis are crying out for peace. Everyone wants this to stop, and what we are seeing is an additional escalation that is completely unacceptable."

He added: "It is completely clear that this massacre must stop. We are witnessing one war crime after another and crimes against humanity… The decision will return to the court to determine whether it is genocide or not, and we see the evidence increasing."

Turk's remarks come after an independent international commission of inquiry, mandated by the United Nations, accused Israel of committing "genocide" in the Gaza Strip since the war began on October 7, 2023, following Hamas's attack, which the commission stated aimed to "eliminate" the Palestinians.

At the same time, the Israeli army began a "fundamental" operation as part of its assault to control the city of Gaza, expanding its ground advance towards the city center, according to a military official, which has sparked widespread international condemnation and fears of further deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave.

The ongoing massacres targeting homes and residential neighborhoods and the forced displacement of Palestinian civilians are exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and increasing pressure on the international community to take urgent steps to put an end to what the United Nations has described as a "continuing massacre."

Rubio says that a diplomatic solution for Gaza may not be possible.

The U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, confirmed during his remarks alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in occupied Jerusalem on Monday that a diplomatic solution for Gaza may not be possible, statements made as the genocide war waged by Israel against the enclave continues with full American support.

Rubio blamed Hamas for the failure to reach an agreement, despite Israel recently bombing Hamas officials in Qatar, the country mediating ceasefire talks. Hamas officials stated that the airstrikes targeted them while they were meeting to discuss the latest U.S. ceasefire proposal.

Israeli media also reported that Netanyahu was the obstacle to reaching an agreement, having thwarted a potential ceasefire deal at least seven times.

Rubio said, "We must remember who we are dealing with here, and they are a group of people who have dedicated their lives to violence and barbarism." When faced with this harsh reality, no matter how much we wish for a peaceful and diplomatic solution to end this situation, and while we will continue to explore and dedicate ourselves to it, we must also be prepared for the possibility that it may not happen.

Rubio did not criticize the Israeli bombing of Qatar during the ceasefire negotiations. When asked about the strikes, Rubio said, "We are focused on what is happening now, what will happen later, and what role Qatar can play in reaching an outcome here that not only ends this hostility, does not only lead to the release of all living and dead hostages, and does not only disarm and eliminate Hamas, but also leads to a better future for the people of Gaza, which is not possible as long as Hamas exists."

The day before, Rubio visited the Western Wall in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem. Netanyahu told reporters at the wall, "I think his visit here is a testament to the strength and resilience of the Israeli-American alliance; it is as strong and solid as the stones of the Western Wall that he just touched. This alliance in the era of President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio and their entire team is stronger than ever."

"The Guardian" calls for lifting the ban on Gaza supporters in Britain after "criminalizing the Palestine movement."

The newspaper confirmed in its editorial that the British government should reconsider the classification of "Palestine Action," stating that while protesters are being prosecuted under the Terrorism Act of 2000, it is clear that ministers have chosen the wrong target and the wrong legal process as well.

The newspaper added that the appearance of three protesters in court on Tuesday, accused of terrorist offenses for holding signs declaring their support for Palestine Action, will certainly embarrass the government.

The decision to ban the group, made in June, was an exaggerated and alarmingly illiberal reaction to the alleged damage that some supporters of the group have inflicted on military equipment.

Now, ministers and the public are witnessing the consequences, as peaceful protesters opposing the ban appear before judges.

The newspaper stated that there is a long and proud history of civil disobedience, which includes demonstrations for women's suffrage and protests against the proliferation of nuclear weapons and carbon emissions due to fossil fuel use.

With the government's reckless decision to classify the direct action taken by Palestine Action as terrorism, ministers have turned their backs on these long-standing traditions.

British security has arrested more than 1,600 people since the ban, many of whom are middle-aged and elderly, with more protests scheduled to take place.

It is bad enough that Britain, like the European Union, has failed to restrict trade with Israel or end arms exports, despite increasing evidence of war crimes, but for supporters of direct action to face the risk of imprisonment in the same week that the Prime Minister hosts President Donald Trump is shameful.

As noted when the ban on Palestine Action was imposed, existing laws can be used to prosecute individuals committing politically motivated crimes.

Currently, 24 individuals are awaiting trial on charges including violent disturbances after targeting a branch of Elbit Systems in Bristol.

Ministers claimed that their decision was based on intelligence assessments.

However, a declassified version of this advice, reviewed by The New York Times, stated that most activities of Palestine Action "are not classified as terrorism."

At a time when police, prisons, and courts are under immense pressure, the ban has diverted resources in the wrong direction.

Whatever happens in court this week, the events of the weekend, where 26 police officers were injured in a massive far-right demonstration in London, reveal the government's confused priorities, and ministers and police seem surprised by the size and violence of the protest.

Unless the Home Secretary can prevent it, the ban on Palestine Action will be challenged in court in November, on the grounds that it may conflict with people's rights to freedom of expression and assembly.

As long as the ban remains in place, the courts should choose leniency.

Punishing people harshly for advocating the right to protest would send a bad signal at a time when liberal democracy is facing increasing threats.

The newspaper confirmed that acquittals will not correct the mistake of banning Palestine Action in the first place.

Protesters against Israel's brutality in Gaza and the West Bank should never have been treated under the same legislative framework that was applied in July to the "Minyak Murder Cult" and the "Russian Imperial Movement," or placed in the same category as Hamas and Hizb ut-Tahrir.

In the wake of the recent panicked cabinet reshuffle by the Prime Minister, the new Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, should take a different approach.

Three independent reviewers of terrorism laws have recommended that banning orders be time-limited.

Now is the time to reconsider a decision that should never have been made.

UN Report: "Israel" is committing genocide in the Gaza Strip

The United Nations Human Rights Council stated that the occupation has committed genocide against the Palestinians, and that its senior leaders have incited genocide, in the first report issued by the United Nations acknowledging genocide.

The Council described the investigation conducted by a committee established by the United Nations as the most reliable conclusion of the organization to date, and that the occupation has committed four acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip.

These acts include: killing Palestinians in Gaza, causing serious physical and psychological harm to them, deliberately imposing living conditions on the group that are intended to lead to their total or partial physical destruction, and imposing measures aimed at preventing births within the group, according to the investigation.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, nearly 65,000 Palestinians have been martyred since October 7.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry stated in a statement released on Tuesday: "Israel firmly rejects the distorted and false report, and calls for the immediate cancellation of the investigation committee."

The report was issued by the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, which continues its work to this day and was established by the United Nations Human Rights Council in 2021, chaired by Navi Pillay, the former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The committee provided several examples of Palestinian civilians, journalists, and health and humanitarian workers who were "directly targeted and killed" in Gaza, noting that these crimes occurred in homes, hospitals, schools, and places of worship.

The report cited the incident of the martyrdom of 5-year-old Hind Rajab and several of her family members in January 2024, as an example of the occupation forces killing civilians despite having clear knowledge of the presence of Palestinian civilians on evacuation routes.

The report stated: "They fired and killed civilians, some of whom were children waving makeshift white flags."

It added: "Some children, including infants, were shot in the head by snipers."

In addition to shooting civilians, the committee mentioned in its report that the occupation forces deliberately killed Palestinian civilians in Gaza using wide-impact munitions that caused a large number of martyrs.

It pointed out that these munitions were used with prior knowledge that they would lead to the deaths of civilians, stating in the report: "The victims of the bombardment were not targeted as individual civilians separately, but were collectively targeted because of their identity as Palestinians."

It stated: "Israel has used the deprivation of Palestinians of essential life necessities as a weapon, by cutting off supplies of water, food, electricity, fuel, and other basic materials, including humanitarian aid."

In August, a UN-backed committee announced a famine in the city of Gaza and its surrounding areas, confirming that more than half a million people were affected by it.

The UN investigation released on Tuesday stated that the occupation's allowance of a limited amount of aid into Gaza is nothing more than a facade to deceive the international community.

The investigation also raised questions about the objectives of the occupation's aggression, confirming that "the widespread and deliberate targeting of Palestinian children" is evidence that military operations are not only carried out to defeat Hamas but also with the aim of "physically destroying the Palestinian group, by eliminating not only the children of the present but also the possibility of them having children in the future."

The investigation added that children in Gaza are suffering psychologically and physically, quoting one doctor as saying: "The essence of childhood has been destroyed in Gaza."

It also noted that the spread of famine has made children "unable to develop speech or reach normal stages of linguistic development."

The committee confirmed that the occupation has refused to allow infant formula and special foods for infants into Gaza, leading to "the starvation of newborns and young children."

It considered this to be "strong evidence of an intent to destroy the population."

The report revealed that the occupation forces "committed acts of sexual violence based on gender," including "rape, sexual torture, and other forms of sexual violence."

The report stated that this "is manifested through content published by Israeli soldiers on social media, where they clearly showed themselves committing acts aimed at dehumanizing Palestinians."

The investigation noted that it heard from many Palestinians who said they were subjected to gender-based sexual violence while in detention.

The report accused the head of the occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog, and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, of inciting genocide.

It stated: "Since October 7, 2023, Israeli officials have made statements indicating their intention to destroy the Palestinians in Gaza as a group."

It added: "Israeli political and

43 years since the Sabra and Shatila massacre

Four thousand martyrs were the toll of the victims of the Sabra and Shatila massacre, committed by Israel-aligned militias between September 16-18, 1982, amid a shameful Arab and international silence.

The conspiracy against the lone and defenseless Palestinian in Lebanon began after the withdrawal of the Palestine Liberation Organization forces and the fighters in late August 1982 to Jordan, Iraq, Tunisia, Yemen, Syria, Algeria, Cyprus, and Greece, following the withdrawal of the multinational forces just days earlier: the American forces on September 10, 1982, the Italian forces on September 11, and the French forces on September 13, who withdrew ten days ahead of their official schedule.

Despite the existence of American guarantees and the Philip Habib agreement, which stated that the Israeli occupation army would not enter West Beirut, and a guarantee to protect Palestinian civilians and the families of the fighters who left Beirut.

According to Rafael Eitan's claim, it was "cleansing the camps of terrorists," under the pretext of the presence of two thousand Palestinian fighters, while not a single armed Palestinian body was found.

The beginnings of the massacre: Wednesday, September 15, the occupation forces besieged the Sabra neighborhood and Shatila camp, monitoring every movement in the area from a building they occupied.

On the morning of Thursday, September 16, the forces stationed in a building at the entrance to Shatila monitored every moment and movement in the camp and gave orders to the killers, while their planes and army dropped flares.

On the morning of Friday, September 17, the outlines of the massacre became clear to most residents of the area, after they witnessed the bodies and bulldozers demolishing homes over their owners' heads.

On Friday, stories of death pits began, and the number of attackers increased, although testimonies and facts confirm that the majority of martyrs fell on the first night of the massacre.

They also stormed Akka Hospital, killing Palestinian nurses and doctors, and abducted patients and injured individuals fleeing the massacre from within the hospital.

On the third day, Saturday, September 18, the killing, slaughtering, and abduction continued, despite Israeli sources stating that instructions had been issued to the attackers to withdraw by ten in the morning.

However, dozens of testimonies from residents confirmed that the massacre continued until around one in the afternoon, characterized by public mass killings.

The occupation did not suffice with covering up the extermination of people and preparing all conditions to crush the Palestinian who had defeated him in the Beirut siege, to take revenge on Sunday, September 19, 1982, by stealing documents from the Palestinian Research Center.

The toll of famine victims reaches 428 Palestinians, with ongoing massacres across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from malnutrition resulting from the ongoing Israeli starvation policy for nearly two years has risen to 428 Palestinians, including 146 children. It confirmed that in the past 24 hours, there were 3 deaths, including a child, due to famine and malnutrition.

The ministry stated in a statement on Tuesday that the total number of deaths from malnutrition has now reached 428 dead, including 146 children, since October 7, 2023. It noted that since the announcement by the "Global Initiative for the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification" (IPC) of famine in Gaza last August, 150 deaths have been recorded, including 31 children.

The organization announced in a report on August 22 that famine had occurred in the city of Gaza and predicted that it would extend to the cities of Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis by the end of September.

Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings leading to Gaza, preventing any humanitarian aid, which has plunged the strip into famine despite relief trucks piling up at its borders.

Israel sometimes allows very limited amounts of aid to enter, which do not meet the minimum needs of the starving and do not end the famine, especially as most trucks are subjected to looting by gangs that the Gaza government claims are protected by Israel.

The Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat received 7 martyrs and 20 injuries in the past 24 hours due to the bombardment by occupation forces on gatherings of citizens at a humanitarian aid distribution point south of the Gaza Valley, as well as other attacks in the central region.

Local Palestinian sources reported that 41 citizens were martyred, and others were injured since the dawn of Tuesday, in ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on the 711th day of genocide.

The sources added that more than 60 citizens are missing under the rubble of homes due to the bombardment of occupation aircraft on two residential blocks in the al-Daraj and Sheikh Radwan neighborhoods in Gaza City early today.

It was reported that 8 citizens were martyred and more than 40 others were injured, along with several missing, when occupation aircraft targeted a house belonging to the Zuqt family near the General Security intersection.

Additionally, six citizens were martyred and others were injured due to the targeting of occupation aircraft on a house belonging to the Taha family and another belonging to the Masoud family in the Bani Amer area of the al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza.

It was mentioned that four citizens were martyred and others were injured when occupation aircraft targeted a house belonging to the Hindi family in the Khudriya area of the al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza.

The occupation army demanded that Palestinians evacuate the city of Gaza and head to the southern part of the strip, claiming that 40 percent had left, following a bloody night experienced by the city's Palestinians due to the army committing several massacres by targeting adjacent and crowded homes without prior warning, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 35 Palestinians.

A military spokesperson stated that they had begun "destroying Hamas's infrastructure in the city of Gaza," but eyewitnesses confirmed that the majority of the facilities targeted by the army are residential buildings housing thousands of Palestinians.

He added: "The city of Gaza is considered a dangerous combat zone (...) move as quickly as possible via Al-Rasheed Street to the areas presented south of the Gaza Valley by vehicles or on foot."

The areas south of the Gaza Valley, especially the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis, are subjected to repeated and intensive Israeli bombardment targeting the tents of displaced persons, resulting in martyrs and injuries, while the army has previously committed horrific massacres in the area.

The spokesperson claimed that "more than 40 percent of the Palestinians living in the city of Gaza have left, with Israeli estimates indicating that 350,000 out of one million citizens in the city have departed," but the government media office previously confirmed the presence of more than one million Palestinians in the city.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 64,905 martyrs and 164,926 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, and famine that has killed 428 Palestinians, including 146 children.

Canada intends to recognize the State of Palestine on the condition of implementing reforms.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced his country's intention to recognize the State of Palestine during the upcoming United Nations General Assembly meetings scheduled for the end of September.

This was stated in a statement issued by Carney's office on Monday following a virtual meeting chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron, which also included leaders from Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, and Britain.

Haaretz: Enormous psychological pressure within the occupying army and a denial of its leadership's narrative.

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed in an extensive investigation that lasted several months the extent of the psychological trauma suffered by regular soldiers in the Israeli occupation army due to the war on the Gaza Strip, confirming that thousands have left service since the outbreak of military operations, some permanently, under the weight of psychological exhaustion, and sometimes as a result of a moral awakening.

The newspaper reported testimonies from several soldiers, including a soldier in the Nahal Brigade known as "Yoni," who worked to secure engineering units in the Beit Lahiya neighborhood, recounting his experience of shooting at a woman and her children, all of whom were killed due to his belief that an attack was being launched by the Al-Qassam Brigades.

Yoni said: "The blood filled the area... I felt like vomiting, but the officer coldly told me: They entered the forbidden zone. It's their fault. That's how war is."

He added: "Their faces still haunt me. I don't know if I will ever be able to forget them."

Haaretz confirmed that these cases are not isolated, but include thousands of soldiers who felt unable to perform combat duties due to psychological exhaustion or their consciences refusing to participate in acts of killing.

According to sources in the military's human resources department, the number of soldiers discharged due to deteriorating mental health is significant, while a limited number have been transferred to logistical roles or back-office jobs.

Another soldier, named "Benny," recounted that he was responsible for securing humanitarian aid in northern Gaza and was forced to shoot at civilians according to imaginary lines drawn by the army, which caused him severe psychological trauma, stating: "I fired fifty to sixty bullets a day... I stopped counting, and I don't know how many I killed."

He added that the officers did not care about what was happening to the children, and that the experience left lasting psychological effects, including night terrors and a constant feeling of danger to his life.

Another soldier, "Aharon," said he suffered from repeated trauma due to explosions and combat in Beit Hanoun, leading to severe fear of sudden noises and difficulty controlling himself, until he had to transfer to the psychological support department after two weeks of repeated requests.

Haaretz pointed out that the Israeli army is reluctant to disclose the number of soldiers suffering from psychological disorders or who have attempted suicide, noting that official information showed that 1,135 soldiers from regular and reserve forces were exempted from service due to post-traumatic stress symptoms, while journalists estimate that the actual number is much higher and does not include attempts that occurred after discharge or due to other psychological issues.

The newspaper stated that the army refuses to publish details of suicide attempts, only confirming that there are cases that ended in actual death, including an engineering officer who served in southern Gaza, who committed suicide after writing to his family that he was fine.

These testimonies come at a time when pressure on the Israeli occupation army is increasing from both inside and outside, reflecting the growing psychological crises among soldiers and the fragility of military leadership narratives regarding control over the war, raising questions about its implications for the army's ability to perform its combat duties.

Rubio reveals reaching a "defense agreement" with Qatar and discusses Gaza negotiations.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that Qatar and the United States are nearing the final touches on an enhanced defense cooperation agreement, following an attack by "Israel" last week that targeted leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" in Qatar and was met with widespread condemnation.

The attack on Qatar had particular sensitivity given that it is a close ally of the United States and hosts the largest U.S. military base in the Middle East. Qatar has been hosting ceasefire talks and playing a mediating role, alongside Egypt, since the outbreak of the Gaza war nearly two years ago.

Rubio urged Qatar, while departing Tel Aviv for Doha, to continue its role as a mediator between Israel and Hamas to reach a ceasefire in the ongoing war in Gaza, stating that there is a "very short window of time to reach an agreement."

Rubio added, "If there is a country in the world capable of helping with mediation, it is Qatar. They are the ones who can do it," according to what was reported by Reuters.

Rubio said, "We have a close partnership with the Qataris. In fact, we have an enhanced defense cooperation agreement that we are working on, and we are about to finalize it."

Qatar described the Israeli attack as cowardly and treacherous, but affirmed that it would not deter it from fulfilling its mediating roles alongside Egypt and the United States.

During a visit in May, Trump assured Qatar that Washington would protect it in the event of an attack. The U.S. President stated after the attack that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not inform him in advance about it.

Netanyahu threatened yesterday, Monday, in a press conference with Rubio to attack Hamas leaders "wherever they are," coinciding with an extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit following the Israeli attack on Qatar.

Trump expressed his displeasure with the Israeli attack, describing it as a unilateral act that does not serve American or Israeli interests.

Trump sought to reassure the Qataris that such an attack would not be repeated during a meeting with the Qatari Prime Minister in New York on Friday.

A special naval unit for the occupation is preparing to intercept the steadfast fleet heading to Gaza.

In light of the ongoing preparations by the Israeli occupation army to intercept the "Global Resilience Fleet" heading to Gaza, the name of the Israeli "Shayetet 13" unit has resurfaced. This elite naval special forces unit of the occupation army is responsible for the most secretive and dangerous operations, burdened by a long history of bloody attacks, human rights scandals, and failed covert operations.

But what is this unit that the occupation treats as the "tip of the spear" in its special operations, how was it established, what are the most notable missions it has carried out, and what scandals and violations are associated with its name?

The death of 7 children due to hunger in Khan Younis.. and a warning about the depletion of medical supplies inside hospitals.

Sources reported that 7 children died on Monday at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, as famine and malnutrition intensified, compounded by a lack of medical care and services due to the ongoing Israeli blockade.

The sources confirmed that 4 fetuses lost their lives in their mothers' wombs due to abortion, and 3 other premature infants died in incubators, as a result of the malnutrition, severe fear, and continuous stress their mothers experienced, in addition to the exhaustion and fatigue caused by displacement and forced migration due to the bombardment and the Israeli war on the region.

On another note, the Ministry of Health in Gaza warned of an unprecedented acute shortage of essential and urgent medical supplies and materials within the hospitals in the region, calling on international organizations for urgent intervention to stop the bleeding of death on the operating tables and among the sick.

The ministry stated in a statement on Monday that patients and injured individuals in Gaza are trapped within the triangle of terror: 'hunger, bombardment, and deprivation of treatment,' noting that the current situation regarding essential medicines and medical supplies has surpassed crisis levels to catastrophic levels.

It emphasized that medical teams in hospitals cannot continue to work with depleted stocks of essential medicines and medical supplies, warning that the Ministry of Health is on the verge of collapse in terms of urgent and life-saving medical needs.

It mentioned that 'many patients and injured individuals are facing critical moments with unpredictable outcomes,' urging all relevant parties to exert their full humanitarian influence to ensure the entry and management of emergency medical supplies to hospitals.

Lazareini: Israel bombed 10 UNRWA buildings in Gaza City, including 7 schools, over the course of several

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, announced that Israel has bombed 10 buildings belonging to the agency in Gaza City over the past four days, including 7 schools and 2 clinics, which are currently being used as shelters for thousands of displaced people.

For days now, Israel has begun a gradual campaign of destruction of high-rise residential buildings in Gaza City, increasing the number of displaced families and pushing them into harsh displacement conditions, while human rights organizations warn that the goal is to forcibly push residents southward, as part of a broader Israeli-American plan to expel them from the sector.

Lazzarini added in a post for the organization on the "X" platform that there is no place and no one safe in Gaza City and its north, where the intensity of airstrikes is increasing, forcing more Palestinians to flee towards the unknown.

Commenting on the situation in Gaza City, he said: "We have been forced to stop healthcare services at the Beach Camp, which is the only one available north of the Gaza Valley, while our vital water and sanitation services are now operating at only half capacity."

The UN official continued: "In just the past four days, 10 UNRWA buildings in Gaza City have been targeted, calling for an immediate ceasefire."

Widespread escalation in the West Bank.. Occupation forces storm Al-Bireh and Tubas, and settlers are bulldozing land north of Ramallah.

Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of incursions at dawn and in the morning on Monday, targeting several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank, focusing on the cities of Al-Bireh and Tubas.

Local sources reported that a large number of occupation army troops, accompanied by at least one armored military vehicle, continued their incursions into several neighborhoods in the city of Al-Bireh, with soldiers deployed in the streets.

In the northern West Bank, occupation forces stormed the city of Tubas and raided several neighborhoods, leading to clashes with young men who attempted to confront the incursion.

Simultaneously with the military incursions, settlers began to raze large areas of citizens' lands in the "Batin al-Halawa" area in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.

Eyewitnesses reported that bulldozers belonging to the settlers, under the protection of the occupation army, began excavation work aimed at seizing the land and expanding the nearby settlement outposts.

Rubio in Tel Aviv.. A message of support and reassurance against any accountability.

Dr. Hassan Ayoub: An Attempt to Save Netanyahu and Contain the Consequences of the Doha Strike Failure and the Wave of Recognitions of the State of Palestine
Akram Attallah: The visit is to express sympathy with Israel and discuss annexation in response to the upcoming recognitions of the state
Dr. Hussein Al-Daik: America shows its solidarity with Israel through this visit in facing any Arab-Islamic alignment
Dr. Raed Abu Badawiya: The visit raises questions about the true direction of American policy regarding the course of the war
Nabhan Khreisha: The goal is to regulate the rhythm of the war in a way that serves Israel and prevent the Doha summit from becoming a platform for questioning the occupation
Dr. Walaa Qadimat: The visit renews America's commitment to support Israel and reflects the depth of agreement on the course of the war and the "next day"

The visit of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Israel carries broad political and security dimensions, as it comes in the wake of the failed assassination attempt on leaders of the "Hamas" movement in the Qatari capital, Doha, and the unprecedented regional and international repercussions and pressures on Benjamin Netanyahu's government. The visit coincides with a rising wave of international recognitions of the State of Palestine, reflecting a growing decline in Israel's diplomatic standing.
Writers, political analysts, specialists, and university professors, in separate conversations with "Y," believe that Rubio's visit primarily aims to restore Israel's image on the international stage and contain the fallout from the bombing that targeted Doha, as well as discuss military plans related to the Gaza Strip, such as the "Gideon's Chariots 2" operation.
According to writers, analysts, and specialists, Washington and Tel Aviv seek to coordinate their positions regarding the anticipated developments at the United Nations, where an increasing number of countries are moving towards recognizing the Palestinian state, which may prompt Israel to respond with field actions, the most prominent of which is the annexation of lands in the West Bank, noting that the United States is trying, through its unconditional support for Israel, to ensure that the Arab-Islamic summit in Doha does not become a turning point in the regional balance of power.

An American Attempt to Save Netanyahu and His Government from Predicaments

Dr. Hassan Ayoub, a professor of political science at An-Najah National University and an expert on American affairs, believes that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's visit to Israel represents a clear American attempt to save Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government from the predicaments they have faced in recent weeks, foremost among them the failure of the assassination attempt on Hamas leaders and the negotiating delegation in the Qatari capital, Doha.
He explains that the dilemma for the American administration does not lie in the attack on Doha itself, but in its failure, pointing out that it is impossible to imagine that an operation of this magnitude could be carried out without Washington's knowledge.
Ayoub indicates that the United States, or at least President Donald Trump and his close associates, were betting that the success of the assassination would create a political and diplomatic vacuum that would pave the way for implementing a joint plan prepared by Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair regarding the future of Gaza, which is based on entrenching Israeli occupation of the strip and granting Netanyahu's government an advantage that would enable it to impose its presence as a dominant force in the region.
Ayoub clarifies that the second factor Rubio seeks to address is the wave of successive recognitions of the State of Palestine on the international stage, which Ayoub describes as a significant indicator of the decline in Israel's diplomatic and political standing.
He points out that Rubio is trying through this visit to convince Israel to postpone or rearrange its military operation in the Gaza Strip called "Gideon's Chariots 2," in an attempt to contain the repercussions left by the bombing of Doha on the regional and international levels.

Unprecedented Complications Facing the American-Israeli Project

Ayoub confirms that the displacement plans proposed by Israel and the United States face unprecedented complications, not only due to the refusal of the majority of Gaza's residents to leave their areas but also because the strike on Qatar revealed that Israel has a broader regional agenda that does not only concern Hamas or the hostage issue, but rather a geopolitical project based on American support, combining extreme right-wing tendencies with capitalist interests that see Gaza as a real estate development project regardless of the suffering of its residents.
He notes that targeting Doha demonstrated Israel's pursuit of "normalizing extermination" in Gaza, while simultaneously subjugating even Washington's closest allies and the main mediator in the negotiations.

Netanyahu's Ongoing Losses

Dr. Ahmed Rafiq

Dr. Ahmed Rafiq

Opinion Writer

After two years of this war that transcended the limits of imagination, geography, international and humanitarian law, and divine law, and surpassed international relations and political norms, and after Israel used almost all of its weapons, plans, war ministers, chiefs of staff, reserve and regular soldiers, and tested its weapons and defensive and cyber systems for trade, marketing, and profit, and after the fall, injury, and loss of nearly half a million Palestinians, Netanyahu was unable to achieve what he wanted. It can be said that this man has lost and continues to lose in this war, as he occupied the Gaza Strip but did not declare victory, destroyed everything in it, yet did not achieve surrender, besieged and erased cities that have existed for thousands of years, but did not obtain his captives or his goals.
His army is one of the strongest in the world, yet he did not get what he wanted from a devastated area that contains only scattered groups wandering aimlessly, and a resistance that has suffered significant damage and has turned into what resembles a resistance of ghosts that cannot be defeated no matter how long this war continues, for resistance is the counterpart of occupation.
This man has lost the image of his entity and its references, even his justifications, and he acknowledged this when he said he would choose victory over receiving good eulogies. The loss of Israel's ideal image has been replaced by another image that has led to rejection, siege, condemnation, and an indelible stigma, and Netanyahu has lost the possibility of free integration in the region, placing the Abraham Accords under scrutiny and review after the shocking attack on the State of Qatar, disregarding all calculations for an image of victory that will not come. Netanyahu wanted to eliminate the State of Palestine and dismantle the social and cultural fabric of the Palestinian people, and thus the whole world rose to affirm this right and this existence.
This man has lost his reputation, image, legacy, and everything he wanted to build when he and some of his ministers turned into fugitives from international law and were condemned before the peoples of the world.
This man has lost some of his allies and friends due to his crimes and insistence on them, leading to the formation of a global opinion, or nearly so, demanding economic, cultural, and even sports boycotts, and holding Israel accountable for its actions. This man and his entity have also lost positions of influence and centers of power in many Western societies, which were established over decades of public and secret work. It has now become common to reveal the hidden and speak openly and clearly about the roles played by powerful lobbies in Europe and America, to the extent that Trump himself heard demands for the liberation of Washington, in addition to the liberation of Gaza, during a dinner at a luxury restaurant in the American capital. The demand for the liberation of Washington means that many situations have changed.
Netanyahu, after two years of this war, can look at his society and will know that he has also lost a lot internally in Israel, by weakening institutions, monopolizing decision-making, changing priorities, erasing initiatives, and deepening societal division. Netanyahu can be sure that after two years of war, he cannot claim victory to his audience, as he has completely lost what he claimed regarding restoring security, deterrence, or resolution, as he has not been able to end any threat, erase any front, or triumph over any challenge.
The expansion and multiplicity of fronts is not a sign of strength as much as it is an enhancement of the aggressive role that Israel is driven into in service of the interests of colonial West and its illusions. It will not triumph; rather, it will sink into more wars, and it will not impose its conditions as much as it will be forced to enter into some settlement in the end.
Netanyahu has lost his bet on making Israel stronger, safer, and more controlling; on the contrary, Israel now, after two years of this war, has failed to become the "bully" that dominates the neighborhood, for the neighborhood is wider, deeper, and stronger than that bully thinks, and every bully before and after.

Hebrew media: "Shayetet 13" unit prepares to intercept the Gaza blockade-breaking fleet.

A Hebrew channel reported that the special naval commando unit in the Israeli occupation army, known as 'Shayetet 13', is preparing to carry out a military operation to seize the ships of the international maritime fleet heading towards the Gaza Strip in an attempt to break the blockade.

This development comes at a time when the 'Global Freedom Fleet', which set sail from European and Tunisian ports, continues its journey towards Gaza's territorial waters. The fleet includes dozens of ships carrying hundreds of international activists from more than 40 countries, in addition to symbolic humanitarian aid.

This military readiness of the Israeli occupation raises fears of a repetition of bloody scenarios, the most notable being the attack on the 'Mavi Marmara' ship in 2010, where the same unit attacked the first Freedom Flotilla in international waters, resulting in the martyrdom of several Turkish activists.
