The toll of famine victims reaches 428 Palestinians, with ongoing massacres across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from malnutrition resulting from the ongoing Israeli starvation policy for nearly two years has risen to 428 Palestinians, including 146 children. It confirmed that in the past 24 hours, there were 3 deaths, including a child, due to famine and malnutrition.

The ministry stated in a statement on Tuesday that the total number of deaths from malnutrition has now reached 428 dead, including 146 children, since October 7, 2023. It noted that since the announcement by the "Global Initiative for the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification" (IPC) of famine in Gaza last August, 150 deaths have been recorded, including 31 children.

The organization announced in a report on August 22 that famine had occurred in the city of Gaza and predicted that it would extend to the cities of Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis by the end of September.

Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings leading to Gaza, preventing any humanitarian aid, which has plunged the strip into famine despite relief trucks piling up at its borders.

Israel sometimes allows very limited amounts of aid to enter, which do not meet the minimum needs of the starving and do not end the famine, especially as most trucks are subjected to looting by gangs that the Gaza government claims are protected by Israel.

The Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat received 7 martyrs and 20 injuries in the past 24 hours due to the bombardment by occupation forces on gatherings of citizens at a humanitarian aid distribution point south of the Gaza Valley, as well as other attacks in the central region.

Local Palestinian sources reported that 41 citizens were martyred, and others were injured since the dawn of Tuesday, in ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on the 711th day of genocide.

The sources added that more than 60 citizens are missing under the rubble of homes due to the bombardment of occupation aircraft on two residential blocks in the al-Daraj and Sheikh Radwan neighborhoods in Gaza City early today.

It was reported that 8 citizens were martyred and more than 40 others were injured, along with several missing, when occupation aircraft targeted a house belonging to the Zuqt family near the General Security intersection.

Additionally, six citizens were martyred and others were injured due to the targeting of occupation aircraft on a house belonging to the Taha family and another belonging to the Masoud family in the Bani Amer area of the al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza.

It was mentioned that four citizens were martyred and others were injured when occupation aircraft targeted a house belonging to the Hindi family in the Khudriya area of the al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza.

The occupation army demanded that Palestinians evacuate the city of Gaza and head to the southern part of the strip, claiming that 40 percent had left, following a bloody night experienced by the city's Palestinians due to the army committing several massacres by targeting adjacent and crowded homes without prior warning, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 35 Palestinians.

A military spokesperson stated that they had begun "destroying Hamas's infrastructure in the city of Gaza," but eyewitnesses confirmed that the majority of the facilities targeted by the army are residential buildings housing thousands of Palestinians.

He added: "The city of Gaza is considered a dangerous combat zone (...) move as quickly as possible via Al-Rasheed Street to the areas presented south of the Gaza Valley by vehicles or on foot."

The areas south of the Gaza Valley, especially the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis, are subjected to repeated and intensive Israeli bombardment targeting the tents of displaced persons, resulting in martyrs and injuries, while the army has previously committed horrific massacres in the area.

The spokesperson claimed that "more than 40 percent of the Palestinians living in the city of Gaza have left, with Israeli estimates indicating that 350,000 out of one million citizens in the city have departed," but the government media office previously confirmed the presence of more than one million Palestinians in the city.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 64,905 martyrs and 164,926 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, and famine that has killed 428 Palestinians, including 146 children.
