5 dead from those waiting for aid shot by the occupation in northern Rafah

Five citizens were killed this evening, Saturday, and others were injured among aid seekers in the Gaza Strip. The Nasser Medical Complex reported the arrival of at least 5 dead and several injured individuals, shot by the Israeli occupation near the American aid center north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Additionally, several citizens were injured in an airstrike by an Israeli drone on a tent for displaced persons in the Bir 19 area west of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip.

Earlier today, 6 citizens, including a child, were killed due to the Israeli occupation targeting gatherings of citizens near the aid distribution point on Salah al-Din Street south of the Wadi Gaza area in the central sector.

Thus, the total number of dead from the struggle for livelihood who have reached hospitals has risen to 1,743, and the injuries to 12,590.

Israeli violations against Palestinian citizens continue, with the intensity of assaults increasing amid the dire humanitarian conditions faced by the besieged residents of the Gaza Strip.

Guterres expresses his concern over the decision to occupy Gaza.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, expressed "grave concern regarding the Israeli government's decision to take control of the city of Gaza."

A statement issued by the spokesperson for the Secretary-General noted that this decision represents a serious escalation and risks deepening the already catastrophic consequences for millions of Palestinians, potentially putting more lives at risk.

The statement warned that Palestinians in Gaza continue to endure a humanitarian disaster of horrific dimensions, cautioning that this "additional escalation will lead to further forced displacement, killing, and massive destruction, compounding the unimaginable suffering of the Palestinian population in Gaza."

The Secretary-General reiterated his urgent call for a permanent ceasefire, ensuring unhindered access to humanitarian aid throughout Gaza, and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages and detainees.

He once again strongly urged the Government of Israel to adhere to its obligations under international law, reminding that the International Court of Justice, in its advisory opinion issued on July 19, 2024, declared, among other things, that the State of Israel is obligated to immediately cease all new settlement activities, evacuate all settlers from the occupied Palestinian territory, and end its illegal presence in the occupied Palestinian territory—which includes Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem—as soon as possible.

The UN statement emphasized that there will be no sustainable solution to this conflict without ending this illegal occupation and achieving a viable two-state solution. It stated that "Gaza has been and must remain an integral part of a Palestinian state."

British media: More than 200 British writers call for a boycott of the occupation due to the Gaza famine.

The British newspaper The Guardian reported that more than 200 British writers and intellectuals signed an open letter calling for an immediate and complete boycott of the Israeli occupation. This came in protest against what they described as the 'catastrophic famine' suffered by the residents of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The letter, signed by prominent novelists, poets, and academics, urged cultural and artistic institutions to halt any cooperation or exchange with the occupation's institutions. The signatories emphasized that continuing relations with the occupation contributes to whitewashing the violations committed against the Palestinians.

The newspaper clarified that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached unprecedented levels, with hundreds of thousands of residents facing the threat of severe hunger. These conditions come amid restrictions imposed on the entry of humanitarian aid into the strip.

This call is part of a growing movement in the international community demanding an end to the occupation and halting violations against the Palestinians. Many cultural and artistic events have shown their solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

This letter comes at a sensitive time, as pressures on the occupation government are increasing due to its policies towards the Palestinians. The signatories hope that this call will help raise global awareness about the suffering of Gaza's residents.

The Occupation of Gaza: The Last Battle to Save Netanyahu

Issam Makhloul: Netanyahu uses escalation as a negotiating pressure tool and a means to achieve internal political gains and silence Israeli public opinion

Dr. Mekhemar Abu Saada: Netanyahu is seeking to remain in power and win the upcoming elections, and the killing of hostages may threaten his political future

Ismat Mansour: Netanyahu is continuing down the path he has paved to occupy what remains of the Gaza Strip, especially the city of Gaza

Mustafa Ibrahim: What is being planned is mass displacement and the liquidation of the Palestinian entity, and the region will face a major catastrophe.

Dr. Adnan Afandi: The occupation of the Gaza Strip will open the door to tragic scenarios, but there are still options that can be pursued to stem the bloodshed

Dr. Abdul Rabah Al-Anzi: If Gaza is completely occupied, the war objectives that Netanyahu claims to be pursuing will not be achieved

In a critical political moment for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he is heading towards a complete occupation of the Gaza Strip, not only as a military plan but as an exit from his accumulated internal crises, amidst sharp divisions within the government and declining public trust in Israel.

Netanyahu seeks to reset the political scene through a comprehensive military escalation, presenting it to his audience as a strategic achievement that repairs his political image and restores cohesion to the ruling coalition, despite warnings from military and security leaders about the dangers of a complete occupation of the strip.

Analysts believe that a complete occupation of the Gaza Strip gives Netanyahu the opportunity to appear as a decisive leader in front of his opponents, activating pressure tools on the army and ministries. Netanyahu's military adventure seems to be his last bet to repair his government.

Significant division in Israeli society

Israeli affairs specialist Issam Makhloul from the Progress Center for Policies confirmed that Netanyahu will not be able to override the position of Chief of Staff Zamir, especially regarding maintaining forces that surround and besiege Gaza in a stable manner, at least at this stage, with limited operations rather than a comprehensive occupation from a military perspective, despite full security control over the strip.

He pointed out that there is still a relatively slim chance that Netanyahu will gamble everything due to his shaky political situation, but there are some indicators suggesting otherwise, such as Aryeh Deri, head of the Shas party, returning urgently from Switzerland to participate in a cabinet meeting, even though he is not a minister and his party has temporarily withdrawn from the government. Nevertheless, he participates because Netanyahu is very interested in his voice, which grants him internal credibility.

Makhloul continued: The position of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, who supports the Chief of Staff's position regarding the deal and opposes open war, and the Haredim are generally against the war as well.

He explained that there was a notable statement from Naftali Bennett a day earlier in the newspaper "Israel Hayom," in which he indicated after returning from a nearly two-week visit to Washington that the U.S. administration has widely accepted him, especially from Trump’s financiers, such as Maria Medalson, who prefers him among the candidates for the premiership. He hinted at the possibility of Trump turning against Netanyahu soon, which could change things in the U.S., as the shift cannot occur solely from the Israeli side.

Makhloul described the visit of Weitkov, which many had pinned hopes on regarding the deal and ending the war, as disappointing, giving Netanyahu the opportunity to return to the rhetoric of escalation, especially after the American shift towards the idea of a comprehensive deal all at once, which has become the official Israeli position after Netanyahu adopted it. However, such a deal requires months and is not a matter of days.

Makhloul sees that there is Israeli pressure on the United States, in light of the positions of the Egyptian and Qatari mediators, who confirmed that the deal was mature or semi-mature, raising questions about why Israel withdrew and pressing towards the idea that the escalation could have been avoided.

He believes that the internal reality in Israel does not suggest the possibility of going to a war aimed at "demoralizing" the Palestinians, as there is a significant division in Israeli society and fear of the scale of human losses, especially with the Israeli army feeling psychologically and operationally drained, suffering from a lack of readiness and training. Therefore, it is difficult to expect a new, more brutal military push in the near days, as it requires an unusual mobilization of up to one hundred thousand soldiers, in addition

The escalation of condemnation of Netanyahu's plan to reoccupy Gaza in the United States.

Over the weekend in the United States, there was a noticeable increase in the intensity of condemnation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to occupy Gaza, forcibly displace its residents, and ethnically cleanse it, both politically and publicly.

Independent Senator Bernie Sanders (from Vermont) posted a note on platform X on Friday stating: "Biden is wrong in his support for Israel's war on Gaza. But Trump is worse (than Biden). The American people - Democrats, Republicans, and Independents - do not want to continue spending billions of taxpayer dollars to starve Gazan children."

Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen from Maryland also tweeted on platform X: "Netanyahu's plan for the reoccupation of Gaza is fundamental to achieving the far-right's goal of controlling Gaza and the West Bank and forcing Palestinians to flee. Meanwhile, Trump makes us an active party in this process. American taxpayers should not fund what amounts to ethnic cleansing under another name."

Matt Duss, the executive vice president of the "Center for International Policy," told Common Dreams on Friday: "American support for Israel's control over Gaza acknowledges that Trump, like Biden before him, lacks the real will to pressure Netanyahu to end the war," adding: "There was a ceasefire agreement that Netanyahu violated in March. The United States must push him to return to that agreement."

During the past week, Trump and members of his administration showed clear indifference when asked about Netanyahu's stated goal of complete military control over the Gaza Strip, which has been devastated by nearly two years of U.S.-backed Israeli bombing and ground operations.

When asked by a journalist about Netanyahu's plan to fully occupy Gaza, Trump said: "As for the other matters, I can't say. That's largely up to Israel."

Jewish groups in North America, including prominent pro-Israel organizations, issued statements on Friday warning against a new Israeli plan to expand military operations in Gaza.

The American Jewish Committee, a leading mainstream American Jewish organization and one of the most important arms of the Israeli lobby in the United States, expressed concern about the Israeli government's plan for military takeover of the city of Gaza.

The World Organization for Advocating Israel stated: "The grave risks posed by the complete military takeover of the city of Gaza cannot be ignored. The American Jewish Committee (AJC) shares the deep concern expressed by many Israelis, hostage families, and Israeli military leaders that the Israeli security cabinet's decision to proceed with the complete military takeover of the city of Gaza may endanger the lives of remaining hostages and could lead to heavy casualties among both Israeli soldiers and Palestinian civilians."

The American Jewish Committee (AJC) noted that member states of the Arab League and the European Union, along with other sponsoring parties, issued a statement last week stating that "in the context of ending the war in Gaza, Hamas must end its rule in Gaza and surrender its weapons."

In its statement, the American Jewish Committee said: "In coordination with the United States, we call on these countries to exert maximum pressure on Hamas to agree to release the hostages and a ceasefire, a step that would bring us closer to ending the war, ensure Israel's security, create a future for the Palestinian people free from Hamas, and achieve the same goals outlined in the statement."

The "Reform Movement," the largest Jewish denomination in the United States, expressed its "deep sadness" over the Israeli government's decision to expand its control over the Gaza Strip. The movement stated: "As Jews who believe that Israel aspires to be safe and ethical, we are encouraged by the position of an increasing number of Israeli military, intelligence, and political leaders, as well as the clear majority of the Israeli public, who warn that the Israeli government's plan to continue occupying Gaza will be a military, political, and humanitarian disaster," according to the movement's statement.

They also urged Israel "to choose life for our hostages, soldiers, and innocent civilians in Gaza by ending this war - not extending it." The statement warned that the expansion of the war would likely be a "death sentence" for the remaining hostages in Gaza. It added: "This is likely to cause more deaths and injuries to IDF soldiers, who are already suffering physically and psychologically, and to civilians trapped in Gaza." This is likely to mean more economic challenges and division within Israel, more division among Jews worldwide, and more isolation for Israel on the international stage.

The movement stated: "It is hard

An Israeli reading on the widening global boycott due to the war of starvation

Israel has recently witnessed an unprecedented rise in the pace of academic boycotts on the international stage, amid notable shifts in the general Western mood towards its policies, especially in light of the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip. The phenomenon of boycotts has begun to penetrate deep into Western academic institutions, ranging from public boycotts to a gradual cessation of cooperation with Israeli universities and researchers.

A report by the Israeli Council of University Presidents documented more than 750 confirmed cases of boycotts since the outbreak of the war, including the cancellation of grants, refusal to publish articles, and severing of collaborative relationships by universities and academic institutions in Europe and America. The figures show a steady increase compared to the second half of 2024, reflecting a rapidly deteriorating global academic standing for Israel.

In this context, dozens of universities in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, and Norway have announced a comprehensive boycott of Israeli academic institutions. Daniel Haimovich, president of Ben-Gurion University, described this phenomenon as a "virus spreading in Western Europe." The boycott is no longer limited to student initiatives; it now includes individuals and institutions from within the core of the Western academic stream.

The forms of boycott range from official decisions to sever ties, to an unannounced reluctance to renew partnerships or respond to emails from Israeli researchers. Emmanuel Nachshon, director of the anti-academic boycott office in the committee, describes this phenomenon as extending from "individual refusals to participate in scientific workshops" to "near-total isolation in some European countries."

The repercussions of the boycott extend directly to the economy, as the decline in European support has led Israel to lose more than 68.5% of the grants it previously received, equivalent to hundreds of millions of euros. Reports indicate that Israeli universities were among the largest beneficiaries of the European program, but by 2025, the scene had reversed, and Israeli investment in the program became a financial burden.

Merav Arlozorov, a prominent analyst, wrote about the rapid transformations in the boycott against Israel, which are leaving a tangible impact on Western scientific and economic circles. She describes how she began to feel the academic boycott in a time when scenes of hunger and suffering in Gaza ignite a new wave of economic boycotts.

Arlozorov warns that the continuation of this escalating dynamic could lead to a path that is difficult to contain later, noting that "the longer the war lasts, the harder it becomes to stop the deterioration." Naftali Bennett also posted a warning message on the X platform about the collapse of Israel's standing in the United States, indicating that the situation has never been this bad.

Vance: America and Britain differ on Gaza, but they share the goal of ending the crisis.

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated at the beginning of his meeting with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy that while Britain and the United States may differ in how to address the crisis in Gaza, they share a common goal of seeking to end it. Vance arrived in London before heading to Chevening, accompanied by his family.

During the meeting, the two officials expressed a great deal of warmth, with Lammy suggesting that Vance enjoy a seaside walk in Kent, while the Vice President expressed his 'love' for Britain. This friendly atmosphere comes at a sensitive time marked by political tensions between the two countries.

When asked about London’s plan to recognize a Palestinian state, Vance pointed out that the United States and Britain have a shared goal of resolving the crisis in the Middle East, but he added that his country does not intend to recognize a Palestinian state, citing the lack of an effective government there.

In contrast, Britain is taking a firmer stance towards the occupying state, having announced its intention to recognize a Palestinian state in cooperation with France and Canada, in order to pressure Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Vance's visit comes amid escalating transatlantic tensions and internal political shifts in both countries, with Vance emerging as a key figure in President Donald Trump's administration. Vance and Lammy are also expected to discuss the war in Ukraine during their meetings.

A small group of protesters was also present near Chevening, with some waving Palestinian flags, reflecting the ongoing tensions surrounding the Palestinian issue. This visit comes at a critical time, as Trump is scheduled to make a historic second state visit to Britain next month.

Intensive Saudi diplomatic movement after Israel's approval of the plan to fully occupy Gaza.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan conducted phone calls with his counterparts from several countries as part of an intensive diplomatic effort following the Israeli government's approval of a plan to fully occupy the Gaza Strip. These calls come at a very sensitive time, as Saudi Arabia seeks to enhance international efforts to stop Israeli violations.

The phone calls included discussions with the foreign ministers of Egypt, France, Turkey, and Germany, as well as the High Representative of the European Union, where the developments in the Gaza Strip and the importance of stopping Israeli violations were discussed. The Saudi minister emphasized the need to intensify international efforts to stop the war and end the humanitarian suffering.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry announced its firm rejection of the Israeli occupation's decision to fully occupy the Gaza Strip and called on the international community to take immediate action to prevent genocide and the forced displacement of Palestinians. It also condemned the occupation authorities' decision in the strongest terms, reflecting its steadfast position on Palestinian rights.

Earlier, the Israeli government approved a gradual plan to occupy the Gaza Strip, which includes the displacement of the residents of Gaza City to the south, raising significant concerns about the humanitarian situation in the region. The plan also includes military incursions into residential areas and refugee camps, further complicating the situation.

According to United Nations data, 87 percent of the Gaza Strip is now under occupation or subject to evacuation orders, warning of catastrophic consequences for the population. These figures reflect the scale of the humanitarian disaster faced by Palestinians amid ongoing aggression.

Since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, Israel has committed massacres against Palestinians, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 61,000 Palestinians and the injury of over 152,000 others. These figures reflect the extent of the humanitarian suffering endured by the Palestinian people, amid international indifference to repeated calls to stop the aggression.

Netanyahu criticizes Germany's decision to stop supplying Israel with weapons used in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his disappointment over Germany's decision to impose a ban on supplying his country with weapons that could be used in the Gaza Strip. This surprising move from Berlin came at a time when Germany is witnessing renewed protests, as it is considered the largest European supporter of Tel Aviv in the genocide against Gaza.

During a phone call with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Netanyahu expressed his dissatisfaction with Berlin's decision. He claimed that "Israel's goal is not to control Gaza, but to liberate it from Hamas and enable the establishment of a peaceful government there," according to a statement issued by his office.

Earlier, the German Chancellor announced Berlin's suspension of arms supplies to Israel that could be used in Gaza. This came after the Israeli government approved a plan to fully occupy the Gaza Strip, despite the worsening humanitarian situation in the area.

Germany, which is considered the primary European source of arms to Israel, expressed concern over the ongoing suffering of civilians in Gaza. Merz also urged the Israeli government to refrain from taking any further steps towards annexing the occupied West Bank.

In a related context, the Israeli government approved a "gradual" plan to fully occupy the Gaza Strip, aimed at displacing the residents of Gaza City from north to south. This plan includes the occupation of the city and the expulsion of its Palestinian residents, numbering nearly one million.

According to United Nations data, 87 percent of the Gaza Strip's area is now under Israeli occupation or subject to evacuation orders, warning that any new military expansion would have catastrophic consequences. Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, and destruction.

Demolition of buildings in Khan Younis and dozens of dead from the occupation's fire in Gaza.

Sources in Gaza hospitals reported the martyrdom and injury of dozens of Palestinians since dawn on Friday due to the ongoing bombardment and genocide being carried out by the Israeli occupation army against the residents of the Gaza Strip. A total of 21 Palestinians were killed in various areas of the strip, including 9 martyrs along the Netzarim axis that separates the northern part of the strip from its center and south.

The hospitals in the strip also recorded 4 deaths due to starvation and lack of food, including two children, raising the total number to 200 dead, among them 98 children. In a new tally, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the arrival of the bodies of 72 martyrs and 314 injured individuals to hospitals in the past 24 hours due to the ongoing Israeli bombardment.

14 dead in Gaza due to ongoing Israeli airstrikes as part of the genocide campaign.

The Israeli occupation army continued, on Friday, to commit its massacres against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, where new airstrikes resulted in the death of 14 Palestinians and injuries to others in various areas of the besieged strip, as part of the ongoing genocide for nearly 22 months.

Medical sources and eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces targeted, since dawn on Friday, inhabited homes and gatherings of civilians waiting for aid, in addition to shelters in Gaza City and central Gaza, in attacks that occur daily despite international calls to stop the aggression.

In the latest attacks, an Israeli drone targeted a gathering of civilians near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis, resulting in the martyrdom of two Palestinians. Three Palestinians were also martyred and others injured at dawn after shelling near a distribution point for aid close to the "Netsarim" area south of Gaza City.

Later, another gathering of civilians was targeted at the Al-Sanfar intersection in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of the city, leading to the martyrdom of a fourth Palestinian. In the town of Jabalia in the north of the strip, an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of citizens, resulting in the martyrdom of one Palestinian and injuries to others with varying degrees of wounds.

In a new escalation, warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting the "Kahil Building" west of Gaza City, adjacent to Al-Shifa Hospital, after warning its residents to evacuate, with no injuries reported. Meanwhile, five Palestinians were injured in the Al-Daraj neighborhood east of the city after an unexploded rocket, fired by an Israeli warplane, fell on the "Musa bin Nusayr" school, which shelters displaced persons.

In central Gaza, five members of the aid convoy security were martyred and others injured due to being targeted by a drone near the "Kissufim" gate east of the central region. In a separate incident, an Israeli aircraft targeted agricultural land east of the Al-Bureij camp, resulting in the martyrdom of two brothers.

These crimes come as part of the genocide and ethnic cleansing being carried out by the Israeli occupation army against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, with direct American support, despite condemnations and international resolutions, including orders issued by the International Court of Justice demanding an immediate halt to the aggression.

According to the latest toll issued by Palestinian official sources, the number of dead has risen to 61,258, and injuries to 152,045, most of whom are women and children, in addition to more than 9,000 missing under the rubble, and hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, amid the spread of famine and a complete collapse of the health and humanitarian system in the strip.

This event comes amid rising tensions in the region, as the protesters seek to highlight the suffering of their imprisoned relatives.

The participants in the demonstration, including released prisoners, expressed their dissatisfaction with the Israeli cabinet's approval of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to fully occupy the Gaza Strip. The protesters warned that this step would lead to the deaths of prisoners and more soldiers falling.

European Council: Israel's plan for Gaza will affect our relations with it.

European Council President Antonio Costa said on Friday that the decision of the occupation to occupy the city of Gaza "must have consequences for the relations between the European Union and the occupying state." He confirmed that the council will assess this decision and urged the Israeli government to reconsider it.

Costa added in a statement on X platform that "this decision not only violates the agreement with the European Union but also undermines the fundamental principles of international law and global values." He pointed out that "the situation in Gaza remains tragic, and the Israeli government's decision will only exacerbate it."

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also urged the Israeli government to reconsider its decision to expand its military operation in Gaza. She emphasized the necessity of releasing all hostages held in inhumane conditions and allowing humanitarian aid to reach Gaza immediately and without obstacles.

UN spokesperson Alessandra Vellucci expressed her deep concern over any Israeli decision to expand military operations in Gaza.

Volker Turk, the head of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, called for an immediate halt to the Israeli government's plan, noting that it "contradicts the International Court of Justice's ruling." He confirmed that the new escalation will lead to larger forced displacement and more killing and suffering.

Turkey condemned the occupation's decision, with the Turkish Foreign Ministry calling for an immediate halt to military plans and the necessity of starting negotiations for a two-state solution. It also urged the international community to take responsibility to prevent the implementation of the new plan aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians.

For his part, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that "the Israeli government's decision to escalate its attack on Gaza is a mistake." He called for an immediate reconsideration of the decision, as this action will not contribute to ending the conflict and will only lead to more bloodshed.

The "Control of Gaza" plan: Netanyahu's paper for creating a fabricated victory.

In the early hours of August 8, 2025, the Israeli security cabinet approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to impose control over the city of Gaza, as part of a broader plan to occupy the entire Gaza Strip. Despite the military's reservations about the potential risks to the lives of prisoners and soldiers, the plan is moving forward.

The initial stages of the plan include issuing warnings to residents of the targeted areas to move south, followed by the imposition of a security cordon around the city, and then conducting incursions into neighborhoods and camps. A report from the Israeli Broadcasting Authority indicated that the approval of this plan means the Israeli army will begin military operations in new areas within the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu's plan includes five main objectives, including the elimination of Hamas and ensuring the release of all hostages. The plan also aims to disarm the Gaza Strip and impose Israeli security control, in addition to establishing an alternative civilian administration that is not subject to Hamas or the Palestinian Authority.

In an interview with Fox News, Netanyahu stated that the Israeli government has decided to 'completely occupy the Gaza Strip,' but does not intend to 'govern it or remain in it.' He emphasized that the primary tasks include eliminating Hamas, releasing hostages, and ensuring that Gaza does not become a source of threat.

The military plan focuses on implementing a gradual operation that begins with complete control over the city of Gaza, with the estimated population of one million being moved to the south of the Strip. This step is followed by operations to encircle the city, and then an incursion into residential areas with the aim of taking control of Hamas camps.

Netanyahu's plan has faced a wave of international and local criticism, with the Russian Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations describing the plan as 'a step in the wrong direction.' The United Nations also warned of 'catastrophic consequences' of any further military expansion, noting that 87% of the Gaza Strip is now under Israeli military control.

Internally, the plan has sparked sharp disagreements within the Israeli security cabinet, with Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir describing the plan as a 'strategic trap' that endangers the lives of soldiers and prisoners. The 'cabinet' session witnessed intense confrontations between Zamir and several ministers, reflecting the internal division on this issue.

"The Organization of Islamic Cooperation" condemns Israel's decision to fully reoccupy the Gaza Strip.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned, in a statement, the Israeli decision to fully reoccupy the Gaza Strip, which involves the forced displacement of about one million Palestinians from Gaza City and northern Gaza towards the south. The organization considered this decision a serious escalation in the series of crimes committed by the occupying state.

The organization described these crimes as genocide, destruction, starvation, displacement, and a continuous Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip. It affirmed that these actions represent a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a flagrant challenge to relevant United Nations resolutions.

The organization held the occupying state fully responsible for the consequences of these crimes, which exacerbate the unprecedented humanitarian suffering in the Gaza Strip. It noted that these actions require urgent international action to stop them.

The organization also condemned the serious escalation in the crimes of extremist settler groups, which are carried out under the protection of the occupying forces in the West Bank. It affirmed that the continued seizure of land, demolition of homes, and assaults on Islamic and Christian holy sites constitute a blatant violation of international law.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation called on the United Nations Security Council to take immediate and decisive action to fulfill its responsibilities in imposing a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire. It demanded the guarantee of delivering humanitarian aid and basic needs to all areas of the Gaza Strip without obstacles.

The organization also emphasized the necessity of providing effective international protection for the Palestinian people and taking the necessary measures to end the occupation, enabling Palestinians to realize their sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories since 1967, with Jerusalem as their capital.

Palestine requests an emergency meeting of the Arab League to discuss countering the plan to occupy Gaza.

On Friday, Palestine requested an urgent meeting of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent representatives to discuss confronting Israeli crimes in light of the Israeli government's approval of a gradual plan to fully occupy the Gaza Strip. This was reported by the permanent representative of Palestine to the Arab League, Muhannad Al-Aklouk.

Al-Aklouk confirmed that the permanent mission of the State of Palestine to the Arab League requested to hold an extraordinary session of the Council at the level of permanent representatives, based on directives from the Palestinian presidency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. This request comes to discuss mechanisms for action at both the Arab and international levels to confront Israeli crimes.

Al-Aklouk explained that the request for this meeting comes in the context of the ongoing crimes of aggression and genocide committed by the occupying state against the Palestinian people for more than 671 consecutive days. He also pointed out that the Israeli decision to fully reoccupy the Gaza Strip will lead to the forced displacement of the Palestinian people.

Al-Aklouk warned that this decision will result in the commission of more horrific bloodbaths, the imposition of further starvation, and the continued destruction of Palestinian refugee camps. He emphasized the necessity of issuing an Arab decision during the meeting for effective action at both the Arab and international levels to pursue the perpetrators of these crimes.

In a related context, the Israeli security cabinet 'kitchen' approved a 'gradual' plan to fully occupy the Gaza Strip, starting with the occupation of Gaza City by displacing its residents, then surrounding the city and carrying out incursions into residential gathering centers. This step comes amid ongoing American support.

According to United Nations data, 87 percent of the area of the Gaza Strip is now under Israeli occupation or subject to evacuation orders, warning that any new military expansion will have catastrophic consequences. The Israeli genocide has resulted in 61,258 deaths and 152,045 injuries, with more than 9,000 missing.

Israeli crimes continue to ignore all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop, which increases the suffering of the Palestinian people and reflects the scale of the violations they are subjected to.

U.S. Vice President: We have no plans to recognize a Palestinian state.

JD Vance, the U.S. Vice President, announced during a press conference at Chevening House in southern England that the United States has no plans to recognize a Palestinian state. These statements come at a sensitive time as Palestinians seek greater international recognition for their state.

Vance clarified that he will meet with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy to discuss this issue, noting that former U.S. President Donald Trump was clear about his goals in the Middle East, and that the current administration will continue in this direction.

It is worth mentioning that about 144 out of 193 member states of the United Nations recognize Palestine as a state, including countries like Russia, China, and India. However, most European countries, with a few exceptions, remain hesitant to take the step of recognition.

In a related context, French President Emmanuel Macron announced last July France's intention to move forward with recognizing Palestine, indicating a diplomatic shift that could affect the stance of other Western countries.

This U.S. position reflects the continuation of a policy of non-recognition of a Palestinian state in the absence of an effective government, raising questions about the future of the peace process in the region.

This statement comes at a time when international pressure is increasing on the United States to change its position, especially with the growing recognition of Palestine by other countries around the world.

The spokesperson added that his country is ready to work with the international community to end the war in Gaza as soon as possible, stressing the importance of alleviating the humanitarian disaster faced by the population.

Geng also called for the implementation of the two-state solution as a fair and lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue, emphasizing the necessity of achieving a comprehensive settlement that guarantees the rights of Palestinians.

These statements come at a time when international pressure is increasing on the occupation to stop the aggression and initiate serious dialogue to achieve peace in the region.

Aboul Gheit: A decisive Arab rejection of Netanyahu's plan to reoccupy Gaza and expel the largest number of residents.

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, condemned the approval of the Israeli cabinet 'kabinett' for the plan to completely reoccupy the Gaza Strip. This step comes at a sensitive time as tensions in the region escalate.

Aboul Gheit emphasized that the time has come for a firm stance from the international community to stop this bloody series of events that the Palestinians are facing. He pointed out that this plan reflects the true intentions of the occupying state since the beginning of the war.

Aboul Gheit described the plan as aiming to expel as many residents of the Gaza Strip as possible, which the Arab side categorically rejects. He also noted that this rejection includes the entire international community.

Aboul Gheit stressed that the occupying government is unaware of the isolation it faces on the international level as a result of its continued execution of genocide against the Palestinians. This isolation is increasing due to the extreme policies adopted by the Israeli government.

He added that the leaders of the Israeli government are driven by extreme ideologies and narrow self-interests, which makes them ignore the humanitarian and political dimensions of the current crisis.

Aboul Gheit called on the international community to take concrete steps to stop the aggression against the Gaza Strip, warning that the continuation of these policies will exacerbate the humanitarian situation in the region.

Times: This is how Trump seeks to win the Nobel Peace Prize.

The British newspaper The Times addressed U.S. President Donald Trump's pursuit of the Nobel Peace Prize, noting that he believes he has succeeded in ending five global conflicts. This pursuit comes as part of his deep desire to obtain this award, which was previously awarded to U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt.

According to the report, Trump did not clarify which wars he claims to have ended, but he insisted that his efforts in multiple regions justify awarding him the prize. Names of global leaders who have received the award, such as Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama, were mentioned.

In the Caucasus region, the United States is hosting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in an attempt to resolve the dispute over the Nagorno-Karabakh region. The proposed agreement includes the construction of a corridor known as the 'Trump Bridge', aimed at improving relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In South Asia, Trump claimed that he contributed to stopping the war between India and Pakistan following recent tensions in Kashmir. Although Pakistan nominated him for the Nobel Prize, Indian officials condemned this, asserting that Trump had no real role in resolving the conflict.

In Africa, Trump claimed that he succeeded in stopping the war between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda after the United States promised investments in the region. This intervention came at a time when tensions escalated due to the control of the Rwandan-backed 'M23' movement.

Cambodia also nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize after his role in resolving a border dispute with Thailand, where he contacted leaders and offered to reduce tariffs, helping to calm the situation.

In the context of conflicts in the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu nominated Trump for the Nobel Prize due to his role in negotiating the Abraham Accords, and Trump believes that bombing Iranian nuclear facilities was a significant achievement in promoting peace.

Analysts' warnings indicate that Trump's pursuit of the prize may land him in political trouble, as the award could turn into a stigma as it did with Obama, who faced criticism for his policies after winning the prize.

The security contractor "Taz Milford".. a hater of Muslims leading aid distribution in Gaza.

A report by the American website "The Intercept" revealed that Johnny Melford, known as "Taz," is a foreign security contractor tasked with providing protection for the operations of the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. Melford has a cross tattoo typically associated with the far-right, raising questions about his motives and beliefs.

Melford belongs to the "Infidels Bikers Club," a group that includes veterans of American wars and private military companies like Blackwater, whose members have served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Two sources familiar with the operations of "UG Solutions," which provides security for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, confirmed Melford's employment.

In May, Melford began recruiting individuals from his network via Facebook, asking anyone "still able to shoot, move, and communicate" to get in touch with him. As criticism grew, a spokesperson for "UG Solutions" stated that the company does not verify personal hobbies or affiliations that are unrelated to job performance or security standards.

The "Infidels" club was founded in 2006 by an American in Iraq and contains calls to support state efforts to combat "Islamic extremism." Club members celebrate icons of the Crusaders, reflecting their hostile attitudes toward Muslims. Melford, who has tattoos of crosses associated with the Crusades, disseminates messages that incite violence.

Medieval studies professor Matthew Gabriel believes that the Crusader symbols worn by Melford reflect an imagined conflict between Islam and Christianity, noting that these icons represent a kind of Christian revenge fantasy. Violent right-wing figures have cited the history of the Crusades to justify their actions.

In July, four Democratic lawmakers in the U.S. Congress demanded that two private security companies provide clarifications regarding reports of their involvement in carrying out deadly operations against Palestinian civilians in Gaza, highlighting the risks associated with employing individuals like Melford in humanitarian operations.

Prisoners' Authority: Gilboa Prison administration tortures prisoners with electric shocks.

The Palestinian Authority for Prisoners and Released Prisoners reported today, Friday, that the Gilboa Prison administration has intensified its torture of prisoners, using electric shocks as a retaliatory measure during its raids on the sections and rooms of the prisoners. This torture is part of a systematic policy aimed at breaking the will of the prisoners and humiliating them.

A lawyer from the authority, after visiting the prison, conveyed details of the torture mechanism, where the section is stormed by special suppression units under the pretext of inspection. Prisoners are handcuffed and shackled, then taken out to the yard, where they are subjected to beating and humiliation.

The unit members deliberately use electric shocks, administering shocks to the prisoners after wetting their clothes and bodies with water, which increases the intensity of the pain. Many prisoners collapse on the ground as a result of this brutal treatment.

The lawyer notes that electric shocks are administered using special guns, which are also used as a tool to beat the prisoners, leading to serious injuries and bleeding. This torture occurs amidst the mockery and laughter of the guards, further increasing the prisoners' suffering.

Additionally, prisoners suffer from severe food shortages, as they are provided with very small quantities, leading to a noticeable decrease in their weights. The lack of cleaning and disinfecting materials makes the rooms a fertile environment for the spread of diseases.

Prisoners use plastic plates and spoons, with each one using their own utensils for an entire month, exposing them to the risk of viruses and germs. These conditions threaten their lives and place them in a real danger zone.

The killing of a Lebanese journalist in an airstrike carried out by an Israeli drone on his car.

A Lebanese journalist was martyred on Friday by an airstrike carried out by an occupation drone on his car in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, marking a new violation of the ceasefire agreement that has been in place since late 2024.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced in a statement that the Israeli airstrike on the road to the town of Zahrani resulted in one martyr, whose body was retrieved from the targeted vehicle on the Sidon – Tyre road.

The National News Agency reported that hostile drones continue to fly at low altitude in the targeted area, increasing tension and anxiety among the residents.

The martyred journalist is Mohammad Shahada, the director of the 'Hawana Lebanon' website, whose colleagues mourned him, affirming that he was the voice of the field facing danger to convey the free word from the heart of the event.

Earlier, the agency reported the martyrdom of 8 people, including a Syrian, and the injury of 12 others due to three Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in eastern and southern Lebanon, marking the highest toll in three weeks.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon on October 8, 2023, which escalated into a wide war on September 23, 2024, more than 4,000 martyrs and nearly 17,000 injured have fallen.

Despite the ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and the occupying state being in effect since November 27, 2024, Tel Aviv has violated it more than 3,000 times, resulting in 280 martyrs and 586 injured according to official data.

In a clear challenge to the ceasefire agreement, the occupying army executed a partial withdrawal from southern Lebanon, while still occupying five hills it seized during the last war.
