The death toll from Israel's extermination of Gaza rises to 61,430.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 61,430 dead and 153,213 injuries since October 7, 2023. This figure reflects the scale of the humanitarian disaster faced by the residents of the besieged enclave.

In the past 24 hours, 61 dead and 363 injuries have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the ongoing Israeli aggression and the worsening humanitarian situation. The ministry confirmed that the number of martyrs and injuries since the resumption of the genocide on March 18 has reached 9,921 martyrs and 41,172 injuries.

The ministry also reported that the number of martyrs among those waiting for aid has risen to 1,778 dead, in addition to more than 21,894 injuries since May 27. These figures indicate the extent of suffering endured by Palestinians under the ongoing siege and aggression.

In another context, hospitals in Gaza recorded 5 deaths in the past 24 hours, including two children, due to famine and malnutrition, bringing the total to 217 deaths, including 100 children since the war began. These numbers reflect the catastrophic situation faced by children and women in the enclave.

The ministry emphasized that many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, where rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them. This situation highlights the urgent need to provide humanitarian and relief assistance to the residents of the enclave.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls. These actions require urgent action from the international community to stop the aggression.

The Israeli security cabinet, "the Cabinet," has also approved a plan to fully reoccupy the Gaza Strip, which threatens more casualties due to the war of genocide and starvation. This step reflects the occupation's intention to escalate aggression against the Palestinians.

For decades, Israel has occupied Palestine and territories in Syria and Lebanon, refusing to withdraw and establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the borders prior to the 1967 war. This ongoing occupation contributes to the exacerbation of humanitarian and political crises in the region.

Global newspapers: The occupation of Gaza is still far off, and handing it over to Arab forces exists only in Netanyahu's imagination.

Global newspapers and websites have highlighted the suffering of Gazans at aid distribution sites, where residents are facing a severe shortage of food and basic necessities. Reports indicate that Israeli occupation forces deliberately open fire on the displaced, exacerbating their suffering.

The British newspaper The Guardian conducted an investigative report revealing a continuous pattern of shooting at Palestinians seeking food. Visual evidence, bullet casings, and medical data have shown reckless and irresponsible behavior by the occupation forces, raising concerns about the use of weapons in these circumstances.

In a related context, military analyst Amos Harel in Haaretz confirmed that the occupation of Gaza is still far off, pointing to American demands regarding humanitarian needs and the Israeli army's requirement for a large mobilization of reserve forces. He also noted a decline in soldiers' responsiveness to calls.

Harel indicated that soldiers who will carry out orders to occupy the city of Gaza may face legal accountability for committing crimes against humanity, complicating the military and political situation further.

On another note, the Financial Times reported from an Israeli source that the media promotion surrounding a military operation indicates the presence of other political considerations. It confirmed that there is enough time for the army and the international community to influence the outlines of the operation.

The editorial of Le Monde considered Netanyahu's disregard for the military establishment's opinion on the occupation of Gaza to be a serious rupture, noting that the idea of handing Gaza over to Arab forces is nothing more than a fantasy, as no Arab state is willing to act as an agent for the occupation.

An analysis in The New York Times pointed out that the idea of handing over control to Arab forces crosses a red line set by Netanyahu, as agreeing to that would mean the end of the war and a withdrawal from the sector, which could lead to the collapse of his government coalition.

Proxy Occupation: Managing Gaza as a Gateway to Dismantling the Palestinian National Project

The Palestinian issue today is witnessing a dangerous turning point regarding the nature and tools of Israeli occupation, which are no longer limited to direct military control but have expanded to include what can be termed "proxy occupation."

In this context, a new model for managing the Gaza Strip is being proposed, which involves handing over actual administration to an Arab or regional entity, in a calculated Israeli attempt to reoccupy the strip through intermediaries, while concealing direct control under the guise of non-Palestinian management.

Legally, occupation is defined as the actual control of a foreign power over land that is not under its sovereignty, and this fact is not altered by changes in methods of control or adjustments to its tools, as long as the occupying power continues to impose its will on the land and the population through security, political, and economic control.

Netanyahu's plan, which proposes handing over the administration of Gaza to a "responsible Arab entity," is nothing more than an attempt to conceal direct occupation behind proxy management, reflecting a strategy of transforming explicit military control into indirect dominance.

From a legal and political standpoint, this maneuver is an attempt to confer formal legitimacy on the occupation by involving an external party, creating a duality in administration and obscuring the real control exercised by Israel, especially through control of crossings, resources, and the security space.

This strategy does not diminish Israel's legal responsibility but creates ambiguity that hinders accountability and disrupts Palestinian and international efforts to stop the occupation and impose a just political solution.

Politically, this step cannot be separated from the attempt to dismantle the Palestinian national project, which relies on the unity of the West Bank and Gaza Strip as two essential components of the Palestinian political system.

Assigning the administration of Gaza to an external entity deepens the geographical and political division and weakens national institutions such as the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization.

This sustained division serves the interests of the occupation, which faces difficulties in imposing its dominance if confronted with a cohesive Palestinian unity.

At the regional and international level, there is a clear tendency among some parties to accept or tolerate this model as a "transitional" solution that alleviates tension and maintains relative stability, even at the expense of Palestinian rights.

These acceptances—even if implicit—contribute to entrenching new realities on the ground and reshaping the Palestinian scene towards external security and political management instead of a sovereign Palestinian state.

The success of "proxy occupation" in Gaza opens the door for its application in other ways in the West Bank, through intensifying the actual annexation of lands and imposing a local administration with limited powers.

This path threatens to end the idea of an independent Palestinian state and transform the conflict into mere management of the population and services under the dominance of the occupation.

This model enhances the fragmentation of Palestinian geography and transforms it into a collection of isolated islands subjected to strict control over the movement of people and goods.

The proxy occupation model represents a profound strategic shift in the tools and forms of Israeli control over Palestinian land.

Hamas: Efforts of mediators continue.. "The weapon of resistance is a legitimate right as long as the occupation remains

Hamas leader Osama Hamdan confirmed today, Sunday, that the efforts of mediators have not stopped, but his movement has not been informed of any official updates regarding the ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip.

At the same time, the broadcasting authority affiliated with the occupation entity, 'Makan', revealed intense American pressure on both sides to return to the negotiating table.

Hamdan stated in his remarks that Hamas's primary goal remains 'to stop the aggression, open the crossings, and lift the siege on the Gaza Strip', emphasizing that 'the weapon of resistance is a legitimate right as long as the occupation exists.'

Hamdan accused American envoy Steve Witkoff of 'sabotaging' the last round of negotiations, pointing out that his statements led to the halt of the negotiations.

The broadcasting authority 'Makan' reported sources saying that the American administration, in cooperation with mediators, is exerting pressure on Hamas and the occupation entity to return to negotiations before the military operation planned by the occupation entity to occupy the Gaza Strip begins.

The sources added that the door has not yet been closed on the possibility of reaching a deal, reflecting the ongoing diplomatic movement under the current circumstances.

This movement comes at a time when the security agencies in the occupation entity believe that the operation to occupy the city of Gaza could take at least six months.

Article in Haaretz: Israel plans to occupy Gaza but does not want to bear the responsibility for its decision.

Tzvi Barel, a Middle East affairs analyst, believes that Israel's decision to adopt the option of full occupation of the Gaza Strip represents a significant shift in the course of the war, as the issue of prisoners has been marginalized in favor of the larger goal of eliminating Hamas's rule.

The decision issued by the Israeli security cabinet last Friday has turned the goal of freeing prisoners into a marginal objective, reflecting the Israeli leadership's conviction that direct military control is the only way to ensure that Hamas does not return to power.

Barel believes that this control will not be limited to security aspects but will impose on Israel broad legal and humanitarian responsibilities under international law, including the reconstruction of governance and services in Gaza, which have been completely destroyed.

If occupation is not achieved, the mere threat of it is intended to be a 'doomsday weapon' that destroys all forms of life in the besieged sector, showing Hamas that it may lose control over the land and sources of income.

Barel points out that this threat negates the previous assumption that prisoners represent a 'strategic value' in Hamas's hands, as there is no longer a need to negotiate their release in light of the option of occupation.

The current situation is fundamentally different from the period before the withdrawal in 2005, when there was an existing administrative and economic structure in the West Bank and Gaza, which facilitated the management of the withdrawal. Today, Hamas's civil institutions are collapsed, meaning that Israel will have to re-establish sectors of education, health, and services.

This path entails strategic risks, as the occupation will face a devastated population that holds Israel responsible for its tragedy, which could lead to the emergence of a new generation of armed resistance.

Without a comprehensive political solution, this generation may not seek goals beyond the borders of the sector but will find them close in the Israeli forces and the military government.

Barel warns that the experience of the American occupation of Iraq could be repeated in Gaza, where tens of thousands who worked under Hamas's rule cannot simply be excluded due to the absence of a qualified alternative.

Ultimately, the author sees that Israel is faced with a highly complex equation; the military overthrow of Hamas does not guarantee stability but may open the door to a long-term conflict unless this step is accompanied by a genuine political path.

Ben Gvir: I will ask Netanyahu to take immediate action to dismantle the Palestinian Authority.

The Minister of National Security in the occupying government, Itamar Ben Gvir, stated in a tweet on his official account that he will ask the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, to take immediate and practical measures to dismantle the Palestinian Authority.

Ben Gvir emphasized that this step should be a response to what he described as the 'illusions' of the President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), regarding the establishment of a 'Palestinian state.'

He added that the so-called 'terrorist authority' led by Abbas must be crushed, noting that these steps are necessary in light of the current situation.

Ben Gvir's statements come at a sensitive time, as tensions are rising in the occupied Palestinian territories, and many Palestinians are concerned about potential escalation.

This issue is expected to be the focus of discussion in the upcoming meeting of the security cabinet, as Ben Gvir seeks to strengthen his position within the government.

These statements are part of the current Israeli government's policy towards the Palestinian Authority, which is characterized by rigidity and increasing pressure on the Palestinians.

Israeli Knesset member from the 'Religious Zionism' party, Tzvi Sukkot, threatened to call for early elections if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not adopt a 'more aggressive war plan' towards the besieged Gaza Strip.

These threats came hours after sharp criticism directed at Netanyahu by the leader of the far-right party, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, for not making an immediate decision to occupy Gaza.

Sukkot, who expressed his opinion via X platform, confirmed that the current situation requires more decisive action, stating: 'If this is the situation, in my humble opinion, we need to go to elections.'

Netanyahu's government has faced accusations from the opposition for over a year of failing to manage the situation, as it rejects calls for early elections instead of the scheduled elections in 2026.

The 'Times of Israel' commented on Sukkot's post, noting that he seems to be threatening to topple the government if it does not adopt a more aggressive strategy towards Gaza.

These statements come amid rising pressure on Netanyahu from within the ruling coalition, as some members seek to take a tougher stance on the Palestinian issue.

Turning Gaza Strip into a Nazi concentration camp

Sari Al-Qudwa

Sari Al-Qudwa

The extremist occupation government is escalating its policies of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza, especially in light of the U.S. administration's ongoing complicity in confronting Israeli atrocities while ceasefire talks continue without any progress. Orders for displacement are still being issued by the occupying authority, and the international humanitarian response in Gaza remains inactive, alongside direct attacks, such as the recent deadly airstrike on the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. This occurs at a time when the residents of Gaza, particularly children, are dying en masse from hunger, alongside a lack of access to food, water, healthcare, and shelter. What is referred to as humanitarian truces and air drops is insufficient to address a crisis of this magnitude, and humanitarian aid must be allowed to enter without restrictions or interruptions.

The occupation government is working to exterminate the Palestinian people in Gaza by all possible means. Israeli forces have slaughtered more than a thousand Palestinians while they stood in line for humanitarian aid amid the continued imposition of illegal Israeli restrictions on humanitarian assistance after creating harsh living conditions for the residents of Gaza, leading to their physical and moral destruction. What the occupation government and its military authority are practicing is punishable under international law as genocide, just as is the case with mass killings and extermination against the Palestinian people.

Seventy percent of the killings have occurred in sites established by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," supported by the United States and Israel. These deaths add to more than 59,000 Palestinians killed and 140,000 injured during the ongoing genocide and daily slaughter in Gaza. Displacement orders have confined all surviving residents to only 12% of the area of the Gaza Strip, and the Israeli proposals to forcibly relocate the residents of Gaza to what is called a "humanitarian city" on the border with Egypt can only be seen as an attempt to create a detention camp under miserable conditions that ultimately force the residents of Gaza to leave their homeland.

The international community must act swiftly and take long-awaited measures to protect the Palestinian people and hold the occupation accountable in light of the escalating ongoing Israeli genocide crimes and the complicity of some Western countries that shield the occupation from the political and diplomatic consequences of its actions, choosing instead to suppress the freedom of expression of their citizens who oppose these horrific crimes while continuing to supply the Israeli military occupation with weapons, trade, and economic aid.

Unfortunately, international institutions, including the United Nations, continue to fail the Palestinian people. The UN has yet to refer to the situation in Gaza as genocide, despite overwhelming evidence of Israel committing numerous acts prohibited under the Genocide Convention and public statements from the occupation leadership calling for the continued starvation of Gaza.

The countries of the world and the international community must take firmer and bolder stances, impose deterrent sanctions on colonial terrorist elements, and exert real pressure on the occupying state to punish, dismantle, and dry up its funding sources and lift its protection.

It is important to note that peace will not be achieved through Netanyahu and his government and the occupation of the Gaza Strip. True peace begins with ending the Israeli occupation of the land of the State of Palestine, dismantling all settlements, and establishing an independent Palestinian state with its capital in Jerusalem. International law must be respected, neutrality towards the occupying state must be maintained, and compliance with international legitimacy that affirms the Palestinian people's right to freedom and liberation from occupation and the establishment of their independent Palestinian state with its capital in Jerusalem, away from occupation and settlement, is essential.

Jews Against Zionism

Majdi Al-Sh

Majdi Al-Sh

Opinion Writer

The global public opinion shift against Israel, especially in Europe and America, is not the most dangerous challenge Israel faces; this can be remedied over time with money and public relations firms. What cannot be repaired is the rebellion of Jews against the Zionist movement and the questioning of Israel's representation of the Jews.

If the global public opinion shift against Israel is considered an external factor, then the rebellion of Jews against Zionism is an internal factor that can expand and undermine the foundations of the Zionist movement, which is based on the theory that it represents the Jews and seeks global recognition of the Jewish state and the completion of the mythical biblical narratives.

About two months ago, a conference was held in Vienna that included Jewish leaders from around the world under the slogan "Jews Against Zionism." On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, a Jewish gathering against Zionism was formed in Paris; not as a secular gathering against the religious, but as a Jewish gathering committed to Jewish ethics, standing against Zionism and its morals. Here we remember the Neturei Karta organization and its religious stance rejecting Zionism as a betrayal of Jewish teachings. The role of this organization has grown in demonstrations in America, Britain, and Jerusalem. This organization does not recognize the right of Jews to build a state and rejects Zionism and the state of Israel.

In the demonstrations occurring at American universities, Jewish organizations have emerged fighting against Zionism and demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza and freedom for Palestine. Among these organizations is the Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), which is considered one of the active organizations; it emphasizes the importance of justice and equality and supports pro-Palestine activities in various forms. There is another student group called Independent Jewish Voices (IJV) and another group named the Jewish Faculty Network (JFN). Jewish students' participation is not limited to these organizations; they also participate (especially the secular ones) in all university organizations and student activities supporting Palestine.

We have observed large demonstrations in America, Canada, France, and Britain carrying Palestinian flags, with organizers wearing Palestinian keffiyehs and raising slogans: "Not in our name," "Jews Against Zionism," and "Freedom for Palestine, from the river to the sea."

Prominent Jewish academics have also participated by signing memoranda and issuing statements and declarations supporting the Palestinian people's right to establish their state. The positions of these figures vary from denying Israel's right to exist to recognizing the Palestinian people's right to establish their state. The latest of these memoranda was signed by 52 academics in Britain calling for the lifting of the ban on the "Work for Palestine" association, including several Jews such as Avi Shlaim, Ilan Pappé, and Naomi Klein.

The positions of Jewish thinkers, politicians, historians, and archaeologists have had a significant impact, including Norman Finkelstein, Ilan Pappé, Gideon Levy, Miko Peled, Meir Bar, Avi Shlaim, Shlomo Sand, writer Naomi Klein, Judith Butler, and Bernie Sanders. These positions have shown the world that there is a difference between the Zionist movement and the Jews, and that Israel does not represent the Jews, which has emboldened demonstrators in universities and streets, making them less concerned about the seriousness of the accusation of anti-Semitism.

It is important to recognize the role of Jewish journalists and media figures such as Max Blumenthal, Mickey Bileid and his sister Merav, Gideon Levy, comedian Jon Stewart, activist Medea Benjamin, and many others.

In contrast to these thinkers and academic and cultural figures, the role of settlers and extremists is rising with their uncivilized practices, which increases the gap between the two sides. This is clearly evident outside the borders of Israel.

The results of the existence of moral positions from a large number of Jews and anti-Zionist Jewish gatherings can be summarized as follows:

1. Israel does not represent the Jews of the world, and Zionism does not represent Judaism; rather, it is a danger to Jews and Judaism.

2. Zionism is a military project under a religious guise.

3. The positions of new historians and Jewish archaeologists (and other non-Jews) have shaken the theory of "the Promised Land" and "the chosen people."

4. It is no longer easy to believe in Zionist narratives in general, and discussing anti-Semitism is no longer a taboo.

5. Indigenous Jews were part of the Palestinian people, and coexistence among the components of this people can continue away from Zionism.

Artificial Intelligence in the Service of or Suppression of Human Rights: A Case Study from the Palestinian Territories

By: Sidqi Abu Dhahir, Researcher and Consultant in Media and Digital Marketing

By: Sidqi Abu Dhahir, Researcher and Consultant in Media and Digital Marketing

Opinion Writer

The Introduction

In a world where technological advancement is accelerating at an unprecedented pace, artificial intelligence (AI) stands out as one of the most influential tools in human life, whether in peace or conflict. While the world celebrates the capabilities of AI in improving livelihoods and system efficiency, warnings are rising about its use as a tool of oppression, especially in areas suffering from occupation or armed conflict.

The Palestinian territories represent a central model for this challenge: where technology is used to enhance tools of control and surveillance by the occupation, in contrast to modest attempts to harness AI in the service of defending human rights.

Here arises the fundamental question: Can AI be a means to protect human dignity? Or is it merely a digital extension of the doctrine of control?

AI as a Tool of Oppression in Palestine

In the Palestinian context, AI is no longer a neutral technology; it has become part of the security surveillance and control system, manifested through:

Biometric Surveillance Systems

In cities like Jerusalem and Hebron, advanced surveillance projects have been implemented, including smart cameras capable of recognizing the faces of Palestinians and linking their movements to security databases. The Washington Post revealed in 2022 that these systems are used without the knowledge or consent of the residents, and are employed in tracking them in the field, which is a direct violation of the right to privacy.

Algorithmic Bias

Reports from the "7amleh - Campaign" center indicated that algorithms from major companies like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube exercise systematic censorship on Palestinian content, as posts documenting violations or sharing the Palestinian narrative are deleted or restricted, while incitement against Palestinians is allowed without effective intervention.

Intelligence Data Analysis

The Israeli security forces use AI tools to analyze the online behavior of Palestinian users, tracking keywords and generating digital files used to justify decisions such as deportation, administrative detention, or revocation of permits, without a transparent legal process.

AI as a Tool for Protecting Rights

Despite the oppressive use, Palestinian and international organizations have begun to invest in AI as a tool to combat violations and defend human rights through:

Documenting Violations with Visual Intelligence

Organizations like Forensic Architecture and Amnesty International use AI to analyze satellite images and field videos to document house demolitions, land confiscation, and bombings in Gaza and the West Bank, turning this data into legal evidence.

Tracking Patterns and Recurring Violations

Data analysis algorithms are used to reveal recurring patterns of violations, such as repeated timings of incursions or targeting of infrastructure, enhancing the credibility of reports submitted to the International Criminal Court by organizations like "Al-Haq" and "Al-Mezan."

Digital Monitoring of Hate Speech

Digital tools are being developed to monitor and analyze Hebrew media content, documenting hate speech or incitement to violence against Palestinians, to be presented as evidence in discrimination and incitement cases before human rights organizations or in digital campaigns.

The Ethical and Legal Challenge

The use of AI in conflict contexts raises profound ethical and legal issues, particularly in Palestine, where conditions for equitable justice are not met. Major questions arise:

•    Who sets the ethical standards for designing these algorithms?

•    Is there an international body that ensures these technologies are not exploited to oppress peoples?

•    Has digital justice become the privilege of those who own the technology, rather than those who need it to protect their rights?

The UNESCO report (2021) on the ethics of AI clearly warned that communities under occupation or conflict become more vulnerable to violations of digital privacy, necessitating the establishment of strict international legal frameworks that define the limits of AI use to ensure it does not become a tool of digital tyranny.

Towards a Fair Integration of Technology and International Law

In light of these challenges, an integrated model can be envisioned that links AI to international human rights law through:

•    Enhancing digital documentation of violations through unified databases supported by AI.

•    Supporting international justice by providing precise and chronologically ordered analytical evidence before courts.

•    Raising public awareness by analyzing public opinion trends and planning more impactful human rights campaigns.

•    Digitally protecting activists through encryption tools and monitoring the security of their information and identities.

The Russian Foreign Ministry condemns the Israeli decision to reoccupy the Gaza Strip and warns of its repercussions.

The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli decision to reoccupy the Gaza Strip, noting that this decision has serious implications for the humanitarian situation in the region.

In an official statement, the ministry clarified that the implementation of these decisions would exacerbate the already dramatic situation on the Palestinian side, which is already suffering from a suffocating humanitarian crisis.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also warned that these steps could worsen international efforts aimed at de-escalating the conflict in the region, which could negatively impact the stability of the entire Middle East.

Russia emphasized the need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the release of all hostages and detainees, and the restoration of unhindered humanitarian access.

The ministry reiterated Moscow's firm position that there is no alternative to resolving the Palestinian issue in accordance with the principles recognized in international law, including the two-state solution principle.

This principle calls for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, to coexist peacefully and securely alongside the occupying state.

Displacement after killing and destruction!

It is neither surprising nor unexpected that the Likud wolf is creating excuses that enable it to continue its endless war, aiming to achieve its hidden goals of re-establishing control over the devastated territory after displacing its inhabitants and building a Riviera on the ruins of homes and the remains of victims in the massacre of the century, during which the killers enjoyed an open grace period until the task was fully completed according to American specifications and standards, after trampling on the matrix of principles, laws, and human values for which the founding fathers of the great state erected a statue of liberty.

Nothing is harsher than crime except the denial of its occurrence. Referring to the widespread famine in the starving territory as malnutrition, which is devouring the most vulnerable groups of women and children, is nothing but a deliberate attempt to obscure the resounding crime and to place the blame for their death by bullets on the victims themselves when their empty stomachs compete in front of the traps of aid prepared for killing, and at other times through the bombing of homes and tents and the extermination of families.

The latest step in Israeli policies is not a reaction to what Netanyahu calls Hamas's rejection of negotiation terms, but rather plans prepared according to timelines, aimed at emptying the territory of its inhabitants after exhausting and starving them and forcibly pushing them to leave the area they have been confined to, which does not exceed 12 square kilometers of the total area of the territory, which is 350 square kilometers.

From now until October 7, when the extermination marks its second year, Netanyahu will continue his plans in response to the blackmail of his partners from the Torah parties regarding correcting what they call the historical mistake made by Sharon in withdrawing from the territory in 2005, and to send a message to the countries that intend to recognize the State of Palestine next September that their recognition is worth no more than the ink it will be written with compared to what the tank treads draw on the ground with their occupation and the imposition of complete control over it, undermining the hopes of Palestinians for an independent state.

Displacement is the final chapter in the story of extermination in a world that does not cease its rhetoric of condemnation and denunciation to the point of dullness.

In a related context, several citizens were martyred and others injured while waiting for aid from the occupation's fire in the south of Khan Younis, exacerbating the suffering of the population, which is facing a severe shortage of humanitarian assistance.

Occupation Apache helicopters are firing east of Gaza City, where assaults on civilians continue daily, raising concerns about the deteriorating humanitarian situation.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupying state has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to cease its actions.

The genocide committed by the occupying state has resulted in 61,369 martyrs and 152,850 injured, most of whom are children and women, in addition to over 9,000 missing persons, along with hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals suffering from harsh conditions.

These crimes continue amid international silence, raising questions about the fate of civilians in Gaza and how to end this ongoing suffering.

Smotrich: I have lost confidence in Netanyahu's ability to win the Gaza war.

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that he has lost "confidence" that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking to lead the army towards a decisive victory in the genocide Israel has been waging against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

Smotrich added in a video posted on his account on the X platform that the decision of the security cabinet (the cabinet) to occupy Gaza in order to bring Hamas back to the negotiating table "is foolish and illogical."

He pointed out that "sending thousands of soldiers and creating a danger to their lives in a military operation in Gaza and paying diplomatic and international costs just to exert pressure on Hamas to release the hostages and then withdraw is a moral folly and illogical."

Smotrich continued: "Unfortunately, for the first time since the beginning of the war, I feel that I cannot support this decision or endorse it. I have lost confidence that the Prime Minister can or wants to lead the army to achieve that."

Smotrich's statements represent a rejection of the plan to reoccupy Gaza announced by the Israeli government two days ago, and he is known for his support of plans for the forced displacement of Palestinians from the strip along with settlement in it.

Earlier, the Israeli security cabinet approved a "gradual plan" to fully occupy the Gaza Strip and displace Palestinians from the north to the south, which Netanyahu presented in a move that faced objections from security leaders due to the danger it posed to the lives of hostages and Israeli soldiers in the Palestinian sector.

Smotrich downplayed the significance of this plan, saying that "Netanyahu and the cabinet decided to carry out a military operation whose goal is not a decisive victory, but to exert pressure on Hamas for a partial prisoner deal."

He called on Netanyahu to "convene the cabinet again and declare unequivocally that there will be no stopping in the middle anymore, and no partial deal," urging him to "take a decisive and clear step towards victory."

Smotrich continuously protests against calls for merely conducting airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, demanding that the war continue until the Palestinians are displaced from it for the purpose of settlement.

The private Israeli Channel 14 quoted a senior official in the "Religious Zionism" party, led by Smotrich, as saying that the cabinet's decision is a "sharp fall," threatening to dismantle the government if the Gaza occupation plan does not change.

The plan approved by the Israeli government begins with the occupation of the city of Gaza by displacing its population of about one million to the south, then surrounding the city and conducting incursions into residential areas.

According to United Nations data, 87% of the area of the strip is already under Israeli occupation or subject to evacuation orders, warning that any new military expansion would have "catastrophic consequences."

During the ongoing genocide in the strip since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army occupied the entire city of Gaza except for small areas, remaining there for months before retreating in April 2024 from most of its areas after declaring the "destruction of Hamas's infrastructure in the city."

According to Palestinian officials, parts of the city of Deir al-Balah and the camps in the central governorate were not occupied by Israeli forces, but hundreds of buildings were destroyed there through aerial and artillery bombardment.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

The Israeli genocide has resulted in 61,369 martyrs and 152,862 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, with more than 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and famine that has claimed the lives of many, including children.

During a phone call, Trump yelled at Netanyahu for this reason.

An NBC News report revealed that President Donald Trump yelled at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a phone conversation between them last week, where Trump asserted that the famine in Gaza is not fake and that he has seen evidence of it.

The phone conversation took place the day after Netanyahu claimed that there is no starvation policy in Gaza and that there is no famine. However, Trump confirmed to him that he had seen images of children in Gaza looking very hungry, emphasizing that there is a real famine that cannot be faked.

Later, Netanyahu requested to speak with Trump again, claiming that the famine in Gaza is not real and that Hamas is fabricating the famine. But Trump interrupted Netanyahu and began yelling that he does not want to hear that the famine is fake, asserting that his aides provided him with evidence that children in Gaza are starving.

One source described the conversation between Trump and Netanyahu as direct and primarily one-sided, with Trump mainly discussing the state of humanitarian aid.

The source noted that the United States does not feel that the situation is dire, but it bears responsibility due to the activities of the Gaza humanitarian organization. This conversation led to the visit of U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff to Israel and his entry into the Gaza Strip to visit one of the four centers of the Gaza humanitarian organization for distributing food supplies.

Netanyahu's office later denied that the conversation involved yelling from Trump, describing it as completely false news.

Last week, Trump stated that Israel should feed the people in Gaza, emphasizing that his country does not want people in the Gaza Strip to starve, and that bad things are happening there at the moment.

Trump added that his country wants people in Gaza to receive food, confirming that the United States is the only country that is truly doing this and providing money for that purpose.

Trump described the situation in Gaza as shocking, shameful, and catastrophic, explaining that they provided $60 million two weeks ago for aid in Gaza, and he just wanted the people there to get food, noting that he does not see results in Gaza from the aid they provided.

Official in Tel Aviv: Likelihood of reaching a partial deal soon regarding Gaza

In a new development regarding efforts to end the aggression on the Gaza Strip, sources within the Israeli occupation revealed the possibility of reaching a partial deal soon between the Israeli occupation entity and Hamas, amid intense American, Qatari, and Egyptian pressure to resume negotiations and ceasefire.

An official in Tel Aviv informed Channel 12 on Saturday evening that there is a real opportunity to reach a partial deal regarding the Gaza Strip in the near future. The Hebrew broadcasting authority "Kan 11" indicated that the United States, Qatar, and Egypt are exerting intense pressure on both parties to return to the negotiating table.

Mediators are trying to resume negotiations before the implementation of the occupation's plan, which was approved by the Israeli cabinet (the security cabinet) during its meeting on Thursday night - Friday. Sources familiar with the negotiations indicate the possibility of pushing a deal that could prevent the complete occupation of the city of Gaza.

Tel Aviv has clarified to Washington the possibility of temporarily halting the military operation to allow for the conclusion of the deal, even if it has already begun. The official in Tel Aviv confirmed that "the door is still open for the possibility of reaching an agreement, despite the opposition within the cabinet."

The current efforts are focused on advancing the proposal of U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff, with indications that Hamas may return to the negotiating table. The humanitarian aid flowing into Gaza is reducing the starvation campaign, which may push Hamas to negotiate.

In a related context, U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff met with Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani to discuss the proposal for the release of Israeli prisoners all at once.

On the other hand, the American site "Axios" reported that the Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer said during the cabinet session that the Trump administration will present an offer to end the war in the coming weeks. However, an official in Tel Aviv involved in the negotiations pointed out that there is a significant gap between the occupation and Hamas regarding the terms for ending the war.

West Bank.. Settlers burn Palestinian tents in the West Bank

Israeli settlers launched a series of assaults and attacks on Palestinian properties in the occupied West Bank on Saturday evening, which included burning tents, threats, and uprooting trees.

The "Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages" reported that settlers attacked a Palestinian Bedouin gathering and burned their tents in the village of Ain Ayoub, west of Ramallah, causing significant damage to property.

The organization also stated that settlers assaulted families from the Arab al-Ka'abneh in the Khala'il area, northeast of Ramallah, giving them a deadline of no more than two weeks to leave their homes and lands.

In northern West Bank, settlers attacked a water spring and prevented Palestinians from watering their livestock from it, specifically targeting the "Al-Himma" spring in the northern Jordan Valley.

The organization added that settlers threw quantities of dead dogs and cats near the citizens' tents, in an attempt to instill fear and pressure them.

Hassan Malihat, the organization's supervisor, warned that Bedouin communities in the West Bank are facing increasing challenges due to actions targeting tents and agricultural lands, which directly affects the lives and stability of the residents.

Malihat called on the international community to urgently intervene to provide international protection for the residents and to stop the escalating wave of assaults.

According to a report by the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 466 assaults against Palestinians and their properties in July, resulting in the deaths of 4 citizens and the forced displacement of two Bedouin communities consisting of 50 Palestinian families.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupying state, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starving, destroying, and displacing, while ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

Massive demonstrations around the world condemning the war of genocide and starvation in Gaza.

Many cities in Europe and Asia are witnessing several demonstrations calling for an end to the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip and for humanitarian aid to be delivered to the starving civilians trapped there.

In Amsterdam, protesters urged the Dutch government to take firm action against Israel, including imposing strict sanctions and severing political and military relations with it, affirming their determination to continue protesting in the streets and in front of military institutions until their demands are met.

A massive demonstration also took place in the British capital, London, with tens of thousands participating to demand sanctions against the Israeli government and an end to arms exports to it. Protesters criticized what they saw as the British government's failure to take firm stances commensurate with the scale of the humanitarian tragedy resulting from the ongoing siege and starvation in the region.

In this context, the police stated that they had arrested more than 50 people during their participation in a demonstration in front of Parliament protesting Britain's decision to ban the movement 'Palestine Action.'

Other European capitals and cities also witnessed similar demonstrations, notably in the French capital Paris, the Swedish Stockholm, the German Berlin, and the Greek Athens.

Further demonstrations are expected to take place this evening in the Danish capital Copenhagen and in Istanbul, Turkey, where a nighttime march in solidarity with Gaza is set to begin from the historic Beyazıt Square in the city center and end at the Hagia Sophia Mosque.

On the other side of the globe, Malaysian popular and government organizations condemned the war crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip and throughout Palestine. Thousands of protesters gathered in Independence Square in the capital Kuala Lumpur at the invitation of civil institutions supporting the Palestinian people.

For its part, the Malaysian government renewed its condemnation of what it described as genocide, reaffirming its commitment to demanding the establishment of an independent Palestinian state without preconditions.

In Australia, dozens of Australians demonstrated in the capital Canberra, calling for an end to the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip and for the delivery of aid. The protesters chanted slogans denouncing the ongoing Israeli military operations and the starvation targeting the residents of the region.

They also called for pressure on the Israeli government to open the crossings and allow humanitarian and medical aid to enter. In South Korea, demonstrators took to the streets in the capital Seoul in solidarity and support for Gaza and Palestine.

Military expert: Israel's phased plan is to control Gaza, not to fully occupy it.

The military and strategic expert Brigadier General Elias Hanna believes that the Israeli occupation has adopted the term "control" instead of "occupation" in its plan regarding the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip, because occupation imposes a long-term military presence and an important security system.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, believes that his forces will enter Gaza, but Israel will not occupy or govern the strip, as Brigadier General Hanna states.

Netanyahu said in a previous interview with Fox News that he has no intention of retaining or governing the strip, and that Israel wants to hand it over to Arab forces "that do not threaten it."

The Israeli security cabinet approved Netanyahu's plan today, Friday, to impose control over the city of Gaza as part of a broader plan to completely occupy the strip.

The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that unnamed political sources stated that the decision avoided using the word "occupation" and replaced it with "control," in order to evade responsibility for protecting Palestinians under international law, but the newspaper acknowledged that the actual goal is the occupation of the strip.

Brigadier General Hanna stated in his analysis of the military scene in Gaza that the plan to completely occupy Gaza will not be implemented today or tomorrow, considering the scale of the capabilities and means available to the Israeli occupation army and the measures it must take. For example, calling up about 200,000 reservists would require several months, and evacuating the city of Gaza of about one million residents could take until October 7.

In this context, Israeli Channel 12 reported that Israeli military officials said that controlling Gaza could take 3 months and would require 3 divisions due to the presence of explosive devices.

The military and strategic expert points out that the continued Israeli occupation in Gaza—if achieved—requires a security system that in turn necessitates a security mechanism to impose and maintain security, meaning that for every thousand residents, there should be between 40,000 to 45,000 Israeli soldiers to ensure security.

In explaining the reasons for the Israeli occupation's insistence on sending its forces into northern Gaza, Brigadier General Hanna said that the political authority in Israel set some objectives at the start of the war, the most prominent of which is what it calls the elimination of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), preventing it from returning to govern the strip, and securing the release of Israeli prisoners in Gaza.

To achieve these objectives, the Israeli occupation has devised military strategies that began to be implemented from the northern strip, then the Netzarim axis, followed by Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern strip, after which came the "Gideon’s Chariots" operation, but these strategies did not achieve their goal. Brigadier General Hanna stated that what is happening today is a new phase.

An Arab and Islamic ministerial committee rejects the plan to reoccupy the Gaza Strip.

The ministerial committee tasked by the extraordinary Arab Islamic summit regarding developments in the Gaza Strip, which includes 23 countries, the Arab League, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, expressed today, Saturday, its rejection of Tel Aviv's announcement of its intention to fully reoccupy the strip.

The committee stated in a joint statement published by the foreign ministries of several countries: "We strongly condemn and categorically reject Israel's announcement of its intention to impose complete military control over the Gaza Strip," considering that "this announcement constitutes a dangerous and unacceptable escalation, a violation of international law, and an attempt to entrench illegal occupation and impose a fait accompli by force that contradicts relevant international legitimacy resolutions."

It continued: "This declared approach by Israel comes as a continuation of its grave violations based on killing, starvation, attempts at forced displacement, annexation of Palestinian land, and settler terrorism."

It added that these "crimes may amount to crimes against humanity, as they undermine any opportunity for achieving peace, undermine regional and international efforts aimed at calming tensions and ending the conflict, and exacerbate serious violations against the Palestinian people, who have faced for 22 months, aggression and a comprehensive siege that has affected all aspects of life in the Gaza Strip and serious violations in the West Bank and East Jerusalem."

The statement held "the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the crimes of genocide and the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe witnessed in the Gaza Strip," calling on "the international community, especially the permanent members of the Security Council, to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities, and to take urgent action to stop the aggressive Israeli policies aimed at undermining opportunities for achieving a just and lasting peace and eliminating the prospects for implementing the two-state solution and achieving just and comprehensive peace."

The statement also called for "immediate accountability for all violations committed by Israel against international law and international humanitarian law, including those that amount to genocide."

On Friday morning, the Israeli government approved a gradual plan presented by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to fully occupy the Gaza Strip and displace Palestinians from the north to the south.

The plan begins with the occupation of Gaza City, by displacing its population of about one million to the south, then surrounding the city and conducting incursions into residential areas, followed by a second phase that includes the occupation of refugee camps in the central strip that Tel Aviv has destroyed large parts of.

The statement emphasized "the necessity of an immediate and comprehensive cessation of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and stopping the ongoing violations committed by the occupation forces against civilians and infrastructure in the strip, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem."

The statement demanded Israel "as the occupying power, to allow the urgent and unconditional entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, including sufficient food, medicine, and fuel, and to ensure the freedom of operation for relief agencies and international humanitarian organizations in accordance with international humanitarian law and applicable international humanitarian standards."

The statement affirmed "support for efforts aimed at a ceasefire, made by both the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar, and the United States of America, to reach an agreement for the exchange of prisoners and hostages (Israelis held by Palestinian factions in Gaza), as a fundamental humanitarian entry point to de-escalate tensions, alleviate suffering, and end the Israeli aggression."

On July 24, Israel withdrew from indirect negotiations with "Hamas" in Doha, after Tel Aviv's obstinacy regarding withdrawal from Gaza, ending the genocide, Palestinian prisoners, and the mechanism for distributing humanitarian aid.

Tel Aviv estimates that there are 50 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, of whom 20 are alive, while more than 10,800 Palestinians are imprisoned in its jails suffering from torture, starvation, and medical neglect, which has led to the deaths of many of them, according to Palestinian and Israeli human rights and media reports.

The ministerial committee's statement also emphasized "the necessity of immediately starting to implement the Arab Islamic plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, and calling for effective participation in the reconstruction conference for Gaza scheduled to be held in Cairo soon."

In March, both the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation adopted a plan for the reconstruction of Gaza without displacing Palestinians from it, which will take five years to implement and cost about $53 billion.

However, Israel and the United States rejected the plan, insisting on President Donald Trump's scheme to displace Gazan Palestinians to neighboring countries like Egypt and Jordan, which both countries rejected, joined by other Arab countries and regional and international organizations.

The statement expressed "rejection and condemnation of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and we emphasize the necessity of preserving the existing legal and historical

Egyptian-Turkish agreement to confront the Israeli occupation's decision to fully occupy Gaza.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti said today, Saturday, that he and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan confirmed the joint efforts of the two countries to confront the Israeli occupation's decision to fully occupy Gaza by all means. This came during a joint press conference for the two ministers in New Alamein City.

Abdel Atti explained that there is an agreement with Turkey regarding ways to deal with the crises facing the region, noting that relations between Egypt and Turkey are witnessing an important phase of strategic convergence.

He added: "I agreed with Minister Fidan to condemn Israel's decision to fully occupy Gaza, and we confirmed our joint efforts to confront this decision by all means."

For his part, the Turkish Foreign Minister described during the joint press conference the plan to fully occupy Gaza as "a new phase of Israel's expansionist and genocidal policy."

Fidan pointed out that, in his capacity as the current president of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, he decided to invite the member states to a meeting to discuss the Israeli plan to occupy Gaza.

Fidan emphasized that Turkey and Egypt will continue to stand against such scenarios, and he touched on the humanitarian aid sent from Turkey to Gaza, explaining that Turkey has sent to date about 102,000 tons of humanitarian aid to our brothers in Gaza.

Fidan also expressed his gratitude to Egypt for the close cooperation in delivering aid, noting that the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, via X platform, confirmed that the Egyptian and Turkish ministers held extensive discussions on files of bilateral cooperation to enhance Egyptian-Turkish relations.

The two ministers discussed developments in Gaza (Israeli genocide), Libya, Syria, Sudan, and the Horn of Africa, according to the same source.

Meanwhile, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in New Alamein, northwest of the country, according to a statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

In the context of a genocide and a massive humanitarian disaster involving killing and starvation in the besieged sector, the announcement of the Israeli occupation's intention to occupy the city of Gaza and displace its residents to camps faced widespread international opposition and warnings of worsening humanitarian disaster in the sector, which has been subjected to unprecedented war for nearly two years.

Colonizers uproot olive trees in Khirbat Mas'ud, southwest of Jenin.

On the evening of Saturday, settlers uprooted olive trees in Khirbat Mas'ud, located southwest of Jenin, which sparked the anger of local residents.

Local sources reported that bulldozers belonging to the settlers uprooted several olive trees on citizens' lands, with the aim of paving colonial roads leading to the settlement established in the area since 2019.

Last week, the occupation's bulldozers began leveling lands and olive trees owned by citizens from Zubda and Khirbat Mas'ud, marking the cultivated olive tree lands with orange signs, despite the fact that the owners possess ownership documents and specific land titles.

Khirbat Mas'ud is part of the Zubda village council and consists of three population clusters: Iraq al-Dawar, Khirbat Faris, and Khirbat al-Qusur, with approximately 350 residents.

The occupation is leveling areas adjacent to the colonial outpost established on the mountain and seizing dozens of agricultural dunams in the region, which extends from Qafin to the mountains of Ya'bad south of Jenin.

These violations come in the context of the ongoing occupation policy of seizing Palestinian lands, which increases the suffering of citizens and threatens their livelihoods.
