Israeli settlers launched a series of assaults and attacks on Palestinian properties in the occupied West Bank on Saturday evening, which included burning tents, threats, and uprooting trees.
The "Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages" reported that settlers attacked a Palestinian Bedouin gathering and burned their tents in the village of Ain Ayoub, west of Ramallah, causing significant damage to property.
The organization also stated that settlers assaulted families from the Arab al-Ka'abneh in the Khala'il area, northeast of Ramallah, giving them a deadline of no more than two weeks to leave their homes and lands.
In northern West Bank, settlers attacked a water spring and prevented Palestinians from watering their livestock from it, specifically targeting the "Al-Himma" spring in the northern Jordan Valley.
The organization added that settlers threw quantities of dead dogs and cats near the citizens' tents, in an attempt to instill fear and pressure them.
Hassan Malihat, the organization's supervisor, warned that Bedouin communities in the West Bank are facing increasing challenges due to actions targeting tents and agricultural lands, which directly affects the lives and stability of the residents.
Malihat called on the international community to urgently intervene to provide international protection for the residents and to stop the escalating wave of assaults.
According to a report by the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 466 assaults against Palestinians and their properties in July, resulting in the deaths of 4 citizens and the forced displacement of two Bedouin communities consisting of 50 Palestinian families.
Since October 7, 2023, the occupying state, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starving, destroying, and displacing, while ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.
Repeated assaults pose a serious threat to the existence of the Palestinian population.
