Trump is more frustrated and dissatisfied with Netanyahu than he has publicly shown.

Washington - "Jerusalem" dot com - Said Arikat

Politico magazine reported on Thursday that U.S. President Donald Trump was more frustrated by the Israeli bombing of the Qatari capital, Doha, last Tuesday, than he publicly announced. Reportedly, Trump expressed his "frustration" in consecutive sessions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, fearing his desire to undermine ceasefire talks.

The magazine's report indicated that Trump felt increasing frustration with Netanyahu, especially as Hamas leaders were meeting to discuss Trump's proposal for an agreement to return hostages and halt the fighting.

It is noted that Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with the Israeli strike—partly due to its targeting of Hamas leaders inside Qatar, a close ally of the United States—stating afterward that it "did not achieve Israel's or America's goals." However, he also publicly affirmed his belief that "eliminating Hamas" is a "worthy goal."

Politico's report mentioned that a person close to Trump's national security team told the magazine: "Every time they make progress, it seems like (Netanyahu) bombs someone. That's why the president (Trump) and his aides feel very frustrated with Netanyahu." It remains unclear whether the strike will affect efforts to reach an agreement for the release of hostages and a ceasefire, but Hamas official Fawzi Barhoum stated on Thursday that the assassination attempt on the movement's leadership is "an assassination of the entire negotiation process."

When asked about how the strike would affect negotiation efforts at a press conference on Thursday, Trump said: "We hope it won't affect it at all."

The president reiterated: "We want the hostages released, and we want them soon. We hope that won't affect that." Meanwhile, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani told the UN Security Council on Thursday that his country "will continue its humanitarian and diplomatic role without hesitation to stop the bloodshed."

A Qatari official, who requested anonymity, told Politico that "the Gulf state's focus is on our national security and sovereignty, which have been directly threatened by this attack. All other political considerations have receded." He said: "When one party chooses to bomb the mediator and one of the negotiating delegations, what kind of talks can be considered legitimate?"

Several senior Hamas leaders were targeted while meeting in Doha on Tuesday to discuss a framework proposed by the United States for an agreement with the Israeli occupation authorities for the release of Israeli and Palestinian prisoners and to end the brutal Israeli war on Gaza.

It is noted that following the Israeli aggression on Doha, Trump stated that Israel did not give the White House sufficient warning, and that he tried to alert the Qatari government about the assassination attempt, but calls from his envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, came "too late."

The president added on social media: "The unilateral bombing of Qatar, a sovereign state and close ally of the United States, which is working hard and courageously to mediate peace, does not serve the goals of Israel or America."

According to initial assessments following the strike, Gulf capitals are in widespread shock following the sudden Israeli aggression on the Qatari capital, Doha, which has hosted mediations between Zionist-American interests and Palestinian ones for many years.

From those capitals, accusations of betrayal and security weakness towards Washington regarding its allies in the Gulf were thrown, especially since Qatar stated that it was only informed during the strike, while the U.S. administration reported that it warned Doha just minutes before the attack began. However, the U.S. claim of condemning the strike was met with an implicit justification for destabilizing the enemy's security in neighboring countries, as the White House considers eliminating Hamas leaders a worthy goal.

While Washington has long presented itself as a guarantor of the security of the Gulf monarchies, when it comes to Israel's security, the United States shirks all commitments, even at the expense of those it calls allies. Qatar is a country that has given much to Washington - which classified it as a major non-NATO ally - the latest being $1.2 trillion in deals last May, including defense agreements, while Qatar hosts the largest and most important U.S. airbase in the region and about 11,000 American soldiers, and recently gifted Trump a luxurious Boeing 747 worth about $400 million.

However, American complicity in the Israeli attack seems clear according to experts. Israeli

France promises to intensify pressure on Israel to stop the war on Gaza.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot stated that his country intends to increase pressure on the Israeli government to stop the war in the Gaza Strip, expressing hope that some EU countries will change their stance against punishing Israel.

Barrot declared in an interview with France Inter radio today, Friday, that "what is happening in Gaza with famine and what is happening in the West Bank with settlement and financial blockade of the Palestinian Authority is all unacceptable. We must increase pressure on the Israeli government."

The French minister confirmed that the establishment of a Palestinian state is "the only solution" for achieving peace and stability in the region, as "the only alternative is a state of perpetual war."

Barrot noted that the European Union has been unable to impose sanctions on Israel due to a lack of consensus, but he believes that this may change.

He said that "the President of the European Commission expressed - for the first time in her speech before the European Parliament on Wednesday - openness to sanctioning some Israeli officials and reconsidering some trade aspects of the partnership agreement between the EU and Israel."

At the same time, the French minister called for the condemnation of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), as the United Nations General Assembly votes today, Friday, on the "New York Declaration," which aims to revive the two-state solution and explicitly states the exclusion of Hamas from governance in the Gaza Strip.

Since October 2023, Israel - with American support - has been waging a genocidal war against the residents of the Gaza Strip, involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring international calls to stop the war and orders from the International Court of Justice in this regard.

The genocide has resulted in more than 64,000 martyrs and 163,000 injured, with 411 Palestinians, including 142 children, dying from starvation, according to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.

End of a security meeting held by Netanyahu to discuss the occupation of Gaza City.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported on Friday that a security meeting chaired by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, dedicated to discussing plans related to the occupation of the city of Gaza, has concluded.

The official spokesperson stated that the security meeting, attended by ministers and security and military leaders, lasted for nearly 5 hours. The authority did not mention the outcomes of the security meeting or provide further details about it.

This meeting comes in the wake of rising internal and external criticisms following Netanyahu's announcement of his government's intention to occupy the city of Gaza, a move that opponents in Israel have deemed a "reckless adventure" that could endanger the lives of soldiers without achieving clear political gains.

Earlier on Friday, families of prisoners held in Gaza accused Netanyahu of obstructing a comprehensive deal that would have led to the release of all detainees in the sector.

On September 3, the Israeli army launched an aggression named "Gideon's Chariots 2" to fully occupy the city of Gaza (north), which sparked criticism and protests in Israel, fearing for the lives of the prisoners and soldiers.

Tel Aviv estimates that there are 48 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, of whom 20 are alive, while more than 10,800 Palestinians are held in its prisons, suffering from torture, starvation, and medical neglect, with many reported dead, according to Palestinian and Israeli human rights and media reports.

Repeatedly, Hamas has confirmed its readiness to release Israeli prisoners "in one batch" in exchange for ending the genocide, withdrawing the Israeli army from Gaza, and releasing Palestinian prisoners, but Netanyahu, who is wanted by international justice, evades this by insisting on the continued occupation of Gaza.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, resulting in 64,756 dead and 164,059 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, along with hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, and a famine that has claimed the lives of 413 Palestinians, including 143 children, as of Friday.

UN adopts a "binding" declaration for a two-state solution and the end of the war in Gaza.

The United Nations General Assembly voted today, Friday, on a declaration that outlines "concrete, time-bound, and irreversible steps" towards a two-state solution between the Israeli occupying state and the Palestinians, ahead of a meeting of world leaders, with a significant majority.

The New York Declaration was adopted by the General Assembly regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state with 142 votes in favor, 10 against, and 12 abstentions, where a significant majority acknowledged a declaration that specifies concrete, time-bound, and irreversible steps towards a two-state solution between the Israeli occupation and the Palestinians.

The seven-page declaration came as a result of an international conference that was held at the United Nations last July, hosted by Saudi Arabia and France regarding the decades-long conflict.

Both the United States and the Israeli occupying state boycotted this conference.

In the same context, the United Nations General Assembly's declaration condemned the ongoing aggression of the Israeli occupation against all civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip, the civilian infrastructure, the blockade, and starvation, and called for an immediate end to the Gaza war.

It is noteworthy that on the 707th day of the genocidal war on Gaza, the Israeli occupation continued its intensive bombardment of the entire besieged strip, resulting in new massacres.

Several sources at Al-Shifa Hospital reported the martyrdom of 14 Palestinians in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Al-Touam area north of Gaza City, just this Friday morning.

Several sources in Gaza hospitals reported that nearly 50 Palestinians have been martyred by the occupation's fire since dawn today, including 37 in Gaza City and northern Gaza.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the toll of the Israeli occupation's aggression has risen to 64,756 martyrs and 164,059 injured since October 7, 2023.

It continued that the total number of martyrs from the struggle for livelihood who reached hospitals is 2,479 martyrs and more than 18,091 injured, while the number of martyrs from starvation has reached nearly 413, including 143 children.

The government office clarified that the Palestinians' refusal to evacuate to the south comes despite the ongoing brutal aggression and genocide being carried out by the Israeli occupation.

It confirmed that this aggression aims to impose the crime of forced displacement, noting that the Israeli occupation has previously asserted that this time, the displacement would be without return to the city of Gaza and its northern areas, permanently.

Two Israelis injured in a stabbing attack in Jerusalem and a mobilization of occupation forces.

Two Israelis were injured, one of whom was described as having moderate to serious wounds, in a stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian youth inside a hotel in the Jerusalem area today, Friday. The Palestinian resistance praised the act as a natural response to the crimes of the occupation.

The occupation police stated in a statement that they arrested the perpetrator of the attack, a young man from the Shuafat refugee camp north of Jerusalem, and Israeli media reported the arrest of others suspected of assisting the attacker.

The occupation deployed a large number of border guard forces to the scene of the attack, which comes in the wake of a shooting incident carried out by two Palestinian youths inside a central bus station north of Jerusalem last Monday, resulting in the deaths of 6 Israelis and injuries to others.

For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated in a statement that "the heroic stabbing operation carried out by one of the heroes of Palestine in the city of Jerusalem this Friday afternoon is a natural response to the crimes of the terrorist enemy and its settler hordes, and constitutes a new blow to the security apparatus of the occupation and its illusions of stopping the rooted resistance in the hearts of our people."

The statement added that "the ongoing operations carried out by the rebellious youth of Palestine against the criminal occupation soldiers come in the context of the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the West Bank, and the extended crimes of the enemy that have affected our brotherly Arab countries, the latest of which was the targeting of the negotiating movement delegation in the Qatari capital, Doha."

Hamas affirmed that the option of confrontation with the occupier "is the natural response to its crimes and brutal massacres in the Gaza Strip and the attacks of fascist settlers in the cities and villages of the West Bank and Jerusalem, and its desperate attempts to impose annexation and displacement."

Meanwhile, the occupation army continued its retaliatory measures following the shooting incident in Jerusalem last Monday, as sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the towns of Qatna and Qabiba northwest of Jerusalem and raided the homes of the attackers who were martyred following the assault.

Van Hoolen and Merkley condemn "ethnic cleansing" in Gaza and call for an end to the genocide.

Democratic Senators Chris Van Hollen of Maryland and Jeff Merkley of Oregon condemned the role of the United States in the "ethnic cleansing strategy in Gaza" on Thursday.

The senators had recently returned from a visit to the Middle East, which included Gaza, ravaged by Israeli genocide for nearly two years. In a joint press conference, they issued a report on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and what they described as the "systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure" by the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Van Hollen stated, "We (Americans) have given Netanyahu's government a blank check."

He accused the Israeli Prime Minister of using "food as a means of controlling the population" against civilians in Gaza. He emphasized that Netanyahu's actions amount to "collective punishment" for the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.

Van Hollen said, "Israel has the right and duty to defend its people after the horrific terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas in October. But... it is clear that Netanyahu's government has far exceeded targeting Hamas."

The 21-page report from the senators details their findings after a trip to the Middle East from August 24 to September 1, highlighting specifically issues of food and humanitarian aid.

Merkley stated, "Netanyahu's government is deliberately restricting access to food."

The Oregon senator criticized Israel's strategy of replacing the United Nations food distribution network in Gaza. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHD), an NGO supported by Israel and the United States, replaced hundreds of UN distribution sites with only four centers, which have turned into death traps for Palestinians seeking food.

Three of the distribution sites are located in southern Gaza, with none in the north. Merkley accused this measure of being a deliberate tactic to displace Gaza's population. According to Merkley, 1,373 people were killed following the Israeli blockade of humanitarian aid, with most deaths occurring around the four food distribution sites.

The report reiterates the findings of Doctors Without Borders, indicating that Israel's humanitarian strategy represents "premeditated killing" of Palestinian civilians.

The senators' report details the Israeli government's efforts to deliberately delay and restrict the entry of aid into Gaza, including imposing new restrictions that create a chokehold at the Ashdod port. The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) had to change its inspection practices: the agency was previously able to inspect hundreds of containers daily, but now can only inspect 20 to 30 containers per day.

The senators called on the Biden administration to "immediately end" support for Israel's actions and to use American influence "to achieve a permanent ceasefire now."

Trump said last Sunday, "We are working on a solution that could be very good."

However, Israel launched a surprise attack on a Hamas meeting on Tuesday while they were seeking a proposal from the U.S. president in Doha, Qatar. Qatar has been described by the U.S. as a neutral negotiating ground for Hamas, the United States, and Israel. The Israeli raid, which resulted in the deaths of six people, jeopardized the prospects for future talks.

While Israel informed the U.S. about the attack, Trump later said he was "very upset" by the Israeli action.

Van Hollen stated, "Netanyahu has expertly exploited Donald Trump throughout all these events."

He added that Netanyahu is not interested in peaceful negotiations, describing him as a "servant" of right-wing extremism.

He added, "We will look into opportunities to hold Netanyahu's government accountable."

It is noted that last May, Merkley and Van Hollen joined 43 other senators in sponsoring a resolution calling for "the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid to meet the needs of civilians in Gaza."

Van Hollen said, "The United States must play its leadership role in the world. This is the time to use that influence to end the war and bring the hostages home."

Summary of the report:

Netanyahu's government is implementing a plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza of Palestinians.

Zamir rules out the possibility of "defeating" Hamas without a political plan for the future of Gaza

The Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, stated that it is impossible to "defeat" Hamas without a political plan for the future of the Gaza Strip after the war, saying that "victory is unlikely without a political plan."

The newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported that "hundreds of tanks and armored personnel carriers belonging to the Israeli army are gathering near Gaza in preparation for Operation Gideon 2, aimed at demonstrating power, pressuring Hamas, and reassuring Israelis."

It emphasized that "in addition to the danger threatening the hostages (Israeli captives) in Gaza City, in recent discussions, Zamir repeatedly stressed the principle of safety over speed to avoid falling into Hamas traps in alleys and tunnels."

It added that "what frustrates Zamir the most, according to attendees, is the hesitation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich in making a long-term decision that is supposed to begin to take shape by the end of the operation."

In reference to the day after the war, the newspaper said: "Without such a decision, this maneuver is expected to end like its predecessor, with the soldiers' gains fading day by day as Hamas reorganizes."

It considered that "the Israeli army will implement any political decision, no matter how controversial: whether it is an Israeli military rule over two million Palestinians in Gaza, or an administration led by Arabs under American sponsorship, or a gradual transfer of areas to the Palestinian Authority after the Israeli army eliminates Hamas."

The newspaper continued: "Other proposals have already failed, such as arming Gaza clans or encouraging migration."

It revealed that "in recent days, soldiers at the Tsalim base (southern Israel) have been training on new combat methods such as destroying buildings without entering them, avoiding immediate exposure during ambushes, and advancing through the rubble that Hamas fighters use as cover."

The newspaper stated: "The Chief of Staff nearly pleaded with the political leadership: decide what to do with Gaza, sending soldiers repeatedly to the same neighborhoods for circular fighting and then blaming the army and its leaders for failing to defeat Hamas will not achieve victory nor will it bring back the hostages."

It added: "Almost all brigade and battalion leaders fighting in Gaza believe that the Israeli army will have to continue ground operations against Hamas in the coming years to deepen and maintain its gains, and the question is whether Netanyahu will provide the missing strategic decision."

On September 3, the occupying army launched an aggression named "Gideon 2" to completely occupy Gaza City (north), which sparked criticism and protests in Israel, fearing for the lives of the captives and soldiers.

Tel Aviv estimates that there are 48 Israeli captives in Gaza, of whom 20 are alive, while more than 10,800 Palestinians are imprisoned in its jails suffering from torture, starvation, and medical neglect, many of whom have died, according to Palestinian and Israeli human rights and media reports.

Repeatedly, Hamas has confirmed its readiness to release Israeli captives "in one batch" in exchange for ending the genocide, the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza, and the release of Palestinian prisoners, but Netanyahu, wanted by international justice, evades by insisting on the continued occupation of Gaza.

Since October 7, 2023, "Israel," with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, resulting in 64,718 martyrs and 163,859 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, and hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, with famine killing 411 Palestinians, including 142 children.

French researchers cancel their participation in a seminar on the history of Jews in France due to the genocide in Gaza.

Five French researchers canceled their participation in an academic seminar on the history of Jews in France, titled "Jewish Histories of Paris" (Medieval and Modern), scheduled for September 15 and 16 at the Museum of Art and Jewish History in Paris, citing the ongoing war in Gaza and the funding of an Israeli PhD student, which sparked widespread controversy in French cultural and academic circles.

The Museum of Art and Jewish History (Mahj) announced on Thursday that the researchers justified their decision due to the connection of a research program affiliated with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem to the funding of a PhD student's participation, expressing their discontent with any form of support for the Israeli government.

The museum clarified that some researchers viewed their participation as "support for the Israeli government," while others merely referenced the war in Gaza to challenge the conditions of organizing the seminar.

The museum confirmed that despite the boycott, it would continue to hold the seminar after reformatting it, noting that this step "unreasonably harms the Israeli academic community, which includes prominent opponents of the war in Gaza," and emphasizing that the decision conflated academic research with political officials.

French Culture Minister Rachida Dati expressed her discontent with the boycott, considering that these repeated calls "have turned into an excuse for overt anti-Semitism," adding in a post on X platform: "It is no longer a matter of opinion, but a matter of justice and criminal policy."

For his part, Yonatan Arfi, president of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (Crif), described the boycott as behavior deserving of sanctions, explaining that this phenomenon reflects "cultural hegemony based on obsession and hatred towards Israel."

The International League Against Racism and Anti-Semitism condemned this step, considering it "undermines the principle of scientific research by questioning its independence."

Ariel Goldman, president of the French Jewish Foundation, pointed out that linking participation in the seminar to the conflict in Gaza represents "a dangerous conflation of irrelevant facts that undermines academic freedom."

The number of Jews in France is estimated to be between 438,000 and 550,000, according to a definition that includes those who identify as Jews without adopting another religion, or those with Jewish parents without adopting a different religious identity.

France ranks third globally after Israel and the United States in terms of the Jewish population, and it is the largest in Europe compared to any other European country, according to a report by the Institute for Jewish Policy Research (JPR).

Hebrew Channel: An Israeli plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza starting in October

Channel 12 reported on Friday that the security establishment in Israel presented the government with a plan to relocate Palestinians from the Gaza Strip starting in October, and that this will be a central topic in discussions with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his visit to Tel Aviv next week.

The private channel added that "migration from Gaza will be a central topic in the discussions with the U.S. Secretary of State in Israel next week."

Rubio is set to arrive in Israel at the beginning of the week to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials, and to participate in the opening of a tunnel in the town of Silwan in occupied East Jerusalem.

The channel further stated: "The voluntary migration plan from Gaza is an initiative from U.S. President Donald Trump, which has received significant public support from Prime Minister Netanyahu; however, the government is practically very skeptical about the feasibility of this step."

It continued: "The security establishment presented a plan on Thursday that allows Gaza residents (Palestinians) to leave the strip (relocation) starting next month (October 2025), by air and sea."

It noted that "next week, the U.S. Secretary of State will arrive in Israel, and one of the main issues to be discussed in meetings with him will be the voluntary migration (relocation)."

Regarding the steps being taken by Tel Aviv to relocate Palestinians, the channel said: "Israel is in talks with several unnamed countries, but so far there is no agreement with any one country."

The channel quoted Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, one of the biggest supporters of the relocation plan, saying in a government meeting: "There is no point in investing a lot of money if the residents of Gaza return within a year, and if there is no significant change in the Gaza Strip, this is unnecessary."

It mentioned that Netanyahu responded by saying: "We will not invest large sums of money, but we will make progress with the countries interested in absorbing them."

Meanwhile, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said during the same meeting: "Relocating the Palestinians is the most important thing we are dealing with now, and we must do it as soon as possible to make it happen from now on."

The Israeli channel did not clarify the day on which the discussion took place between the ministers and Netanyahu.

According to Channel 12, "there is currently no country with which there is a final agreement, but Israel itself will not invest budgets in this step, indicating a practical decrease in the chances of this step."

Israel has long talked about the relocation of Palestinians under the pretext of "voluntary migration," while making the Gaza Strip an inhospitable environment for its residents in order to implement the relocation plan, through its continued genocide, destruction of all means of life, as well as imposing a blockade and closing crossings, which has led to widespread famine.

Repeatedly, the Palestinian Authority and Hamas have warned against the relocation plan being orchestrated by Israel, while Egypt expressed its rejection of the step after claims from Tel Aviv that it is closing the Rafah crossing to Palestinians, while Cairo confirmed that the crossing is open on its side, but Israel is closing it on the Palestinian side.

The Israeli strike on Doha.. a rampage under American cover to install Israel as the policeman of the region.

Dr. Kholoud Al-Obaidi: The Arab region has begun to feel the danger after the repeated Israeli assaults on more than one Arab capital.

Prof. Jamal Al-Shalabi: The American-Gulf relations will face a serious test after this unjustifiable operation.

Dr. Hani Al-Jamal: Netanyahu does not wish to resume negotiations in favor of continuing the military operation aimed at displacement and eliminating the idea of a Palestinian state.

Dr. Thaer Abu Ras: All indicators confirm that the strike was coordinated with America, as evidenced by the apparent contradiction between the statements of the White House and Netanyahu's announcement after the strike was carried out.

Osama Al-Sharif: The operation is a devastating blow to the Abraham Accords and to the dubious American role that seeks to crown Israel as the policeman of the region.

Dr. Mansour Abu Karim: The failure of the operation will increase international pressure on Israel to stop the genocide.

Writers and analysts agreed that the failed assassination attempt on Hamas leaders in Doha should not go unpunished, and measures should be taken against the rogue state, as this would encourage it to repeat its aggression. They also agreed that this strike would not have occurred in Doha without prior knowledge of the United States and its non-opposition to its execution.

Call to form a regional alliance to defend the countries of the region.

Dr. Kholoud Al-Obaidi, a specialist in political science and international law, stated, "The countries of the world, except for the United States, condemned the cowardly act carried out by Israel against the State of Qatar, which was described by Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in a press conference as 'a barbaric act that cannot be repaired and cannot be conducted according to international systems, frameworks, and laws that have been disregarded. This attack has violated not only all international laws but also moral standards.'

She added, "We are talking about a host country that officially hosts negotiations with official mediation and in the presence of delegations from the state that sent these missiles to attack the negotiating delegation from Hamas.

Al-Obaidi confirmed that this speech is an accurate description of the cowardly act carried out by Israel. The question now is: How will we confront this situation and the renewed aggression? She stated that her discussion would focus on the repercussions and measures that will follow this dangerous development.

She pointed out that the Arab region and the Middle East feel threatened by Israeli aggression, as Israel has not hesitated to attack Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran, even targeting the Freedom Fleet ship that was attacked near the Tunisian coast a few days ago. She continued, "Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke about the Israeli threat in recent weeks, especially after the attack on Syria, and clarified that Turkey feels it is the next target."

Dr. Al-Obaidi noted that "the attack on a country like Qatar, another ally of Turkey, will increase the feeling of countries in the region regarding Israel's threat to their security. Therefore, I call for a regional conference that includes the countries of the region to form a regional alliance to defend the countries of the region and completely isolate the rogue state, stopping dealings with it and treating it as a terrorist entity that undermines regional security and stability."

She noted that the Prime Minister of Qatar expressed this by saying, "It is a clear message to the region as a whole, and this message says that there is a rogue player in this region, and there is ongoing political aggression in this region and a violation of the sovereignty of states. Netanyahu himself stated that he would reshape the Middle East; is this message that he will also reshape the Gulf? We believe we are at a pivotal moment, meaning there should be a response from the entire region."

She indicated that Qatar announced it is in the process of a comprehensive review of policies and measures to ensure deterrence against these actions and is forming a legal team to respond to the attack. She pointed out that Qatar is an important member of regional organizations such as the Gulf Cooperation Council. The council should take the initiative to defend Qatar and cut all relations with Israel, especially with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

Al-Obaidi believes that the attack also formed important indicators for the future of American-Gulf and specifically Qatari relations. The Prime Minister of Qatar stated that the United States informed them of the strike ten minutes after the explosion.

Netanyahu exploited Trump's proposal to camouflage and bomb the negotiations.

It stated in a statement: "As part of a series of special operations carried out on Syrian territory in recent weeks, elements affiliated with the Iranian Quds Force were captured, and the elements were transferred for investigation (into Israel)."

The army alleged that "these cells were directed by Unit 840 of the Quds Force to carry out operations against the State of Israel."

It mentioned that in March and April of last year, "two field operatives affiliated with Unit 840 were arrested on Syrian territory, namely Zaidan Al-Tawil and Muhammad Al-Karyan."

It also claimed that "in the course of the investigations with the arrested individuals, it became clear that some of them did not know who they were working for, and their recruitment to work with Unit 840 often occurred without revealing the true motives of the unit, and through financial bribery."

In this context, it added that "Unit 840 is responsible for developing and directing operations against Israelis both domestically and abroad."

As of 8:30 (UTC), there had been no comment from Damascus or Tehran regarding the occupation's claims, which contradict the withdrawal of all Iranian military formations from Syria prior to the flight of the ousted president Bashar al-Assad and the fall of his regime in late 2024.

Since that date, Israel has continued its violations against Syrian sovereignty, announcing the collapse of the separation of forces agreement signed with Damascus in 1974, while the latter confirmed its commitment to the agreement and called for an end to Tel Aviv's violations.

The new Syrian administration, established since December 8, 2024, has not posed any threat to Tel Aviv; nevertheless, the Israeli army has repeatedly infiltrated Syria and conducted airstrikes that killed civilians and destroyed military sites, military vehicles, and weapons and ammunition belonging to the Syrian army.

Israel has occupied most of the Syrian Golan Heights since 1967 and exploited the events surrounding the overthrow of the Assad regime in late 2024 to expand its occupation.

Poll: 75 percent of Israelis support targeting "Hamas" leaders in Qatar

A poll showed that 75 percent of Israelis support the attack launched by Israel on Qatar to target leaders of the 'Hamas' movement. The poll, the results of which were published by the Hebrew newspaper 'Maariv', revealed that 75 percent of Israelis support targeting 'Hamas' leaders in Qatar, compared to only 11 percent who oppose it, and 14 percent who have no specific opinion.

On Tuesday, Israel launched an airstrike on the leadership of the 'Hamas' movement in Doha, and afterward vowed to attack the leaders of the Palestinian movement 'everywhere'. Qatar condemned the Israeli attack, describing it as 'state terrorism', affirming its right to respond to this aggression which resulted in the martyrdom of a member of the internal security forces.

Meanwhile, 'Hamas' announced that its negotiating delegation led by its head in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, survived an assassination attempt, while the director of his office, Jihad Labed, and his son, Hamam al-Hayya, along with three companions, Abdullah Abdul Wahid, Moamen Hassouna, and Ahmed Abdul Malik, were martyred.

The West Bank.. Israel arrests more than a thousand Palestinians in Tulkarm in one day.

The governor of Tulkarem in the northern occupied West Bank, Abdullah Kmeil, announced on Friday that the Israeli army has arrested more than a thousand Palestinians during the expansion of its aggression on the city since yesterday, which includes a tight siege and raids.

Kmeil stated in a statement that "the occupation army is launching an extensive aggression on Tulkarem, accompanied by arbitrary and unjust mass arrests, which on Thursday targeted more than a thousand citizens, storming homes, destroying their contents, and terrorizing children and women."

He emphasized that "what is happening in the city is part of a systematic policy of the occupation, with this aggression continuing since January 27 of last year, which aims to undermine the resilience and will of our Palestinian people."

The governor issued an urgent call to the international community, the United Nations General Assembly, the Human Rights Council, human rights and humanitarian organizations, and all free people of the world, "to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression against Tulkarem and its people."

He warned of "the seriousness of these crimes and their humanitarian repercussions," demanding that the international community "should bear its moral and legal responsibilities, work urgently to stop these violations, provide protection for our Palestinian people, and hold the occupation accountable for its crimes."

The Israeli army has imposed a tight siege on Tulkarem for the second day, accompanied by a campaign of arrests and field investigations against dozens of young men after storming their homes and searching them.

This came after two Israeli soldiers were lightly injured when an explosive device targeted a military vehicle in the vicinity of the city.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that the soldiers were injured "after a Panther military vehicle passed over an explosive device near the contact line at the Nitzani crossing."

Meanwhile, the Israeli army radio stated that its forces imposed a cordon around the Tulkarem area following the explosion.

The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that the Israeli army closed the iron gates at the southern and eastern entrances of Tulkarem, preventing vehicles from passing.

It added that the forces raided commercial shops and cafes in the city center, arresting everyone found inside or in their vehicles, forcing them to walk in long lines towards the street leading to the Khadouri military checkpoint.

The army also seized surveillance camera recordings after storming several shops and deployed more military vehicles and a bulldozer to the city.

In contrast, the "Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades," the military wing of Hamas, in conjunction with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for detonating a powerful explosive device against an army vehicle near the "Nitzani Oz" checkpoint west of Tulkarem.

At the beginning of this year, the Israeli army began a wide military operation in the northern occupied West Bank, including Tulkarem.

Alongside the genocide war on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have killed at least 1,020 Palestinians and injured about 7,000 others, in addition to arresting more than 19,000, according to Palestinian data.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, resulting in 64,718 dead and 163,859 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, along with hundreds of thousands of displaced people, and famine that has killed 411 Palestinians, including 142 children.

Talk about the conflict in the world.. The trial of the accused in the attempted assassination of Trump has begun.

The trial of Ryan Roth, accused of attempting to assassinate Donald Trump at a golf course in Florida in 2024, began yesterday, Thursday, two months before the presidential elections, after a jury was selected over three days.

Judge Aileen Cannon allowed Ryan Roth (59 years old) in July to represent himself without a lawyer. Roth pleaded not guilty to five charges, including the attempted assassination of a presidential candidate, which could carry a life sentence, and his trial is expected to last between two to four weeks.

Roth also faces charges of illegal possession of a firearm due to his criminal record, possession of a firearm with an unclear serial number, possession of a firearm for the purpose of committing a violent crime, and assaulting a federal agent.

American media reported that the judge interrupted his opening statement, in which he addressed the history of humanity and global conflicts, just minutes into it. Roth also faces charges of illegal possession of a firearm due to his criminal record.

After 45 minutes of prosecution arguments, the judge asked Roth to respect the 'dignity of the court,' but he continued in the same manner, prompting Cannon to announce to the jury—consisting of 12 people—the end of the opening statements and requested the prosecution to call the first witness.

Roth's trial comes at a time of increasing concern about political violence in the United States, following the killing of activist Charlie Kirk during an event in Utah, western United States.

On September 15, 2024, agents from the Secret Service, responsible for protecting high-profile American political figures, spotted Roth carrying a weapon near the golf course where Trump was present, and he was subsequently arrested.

This was the second time Trump faced an assassination attempt, having survived another one on July 13, 2024, during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

Hebrew media: The occupation's plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza faces an Egyptian obstacle.

Hebrew media revealed that the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, discussed with the security establishment in the last "Cabinet" session a plan to deport Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, which is set to be implemented next month through aerial and naval means.

According to Channel 12, Netanyahu is expected to present these plans to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his visit to the occupation's headquarters.

The Hebrew channel clarified that Tel Aviv has already contacted several countries to host the Palestinians, but "Israel" itself has doubts about the feasibility of the plan.

In the same context, ministers in the occupation called for convincing Egypt to allow the displaced to pass through its territory, which Netanyahu also doubted would succeed.

In a decisive response, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry firmly rejected any plans to deport Palestinians, describing them as "an unacceptable Israeli policy aimed at emptying Palestinian land."

The ministry stated in a statement that Egypt will not accept or participate in this "historical injustice," warning that this step will inevitably lead to the "liquidation of the Palestinian cause."

Cairo emphasized that these plans constitute "a war crime and ethnic cleansing" and violate international law, calling on the countries of the world not to get involved in this "unethical crime."

How has the Israeli genocide against Gaza affected Hollywood, which has become "at war with itself"?

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered outside the ceremony honoring Israeli actress Gal Gadot as she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 18, while the following day, the star's location was occupied and vandalized in protest of her support for the genocide against Gaza.

Writer Sharon Waxman discusses in her article "Hollywood at War with Itself Over Gaza," published in The New York Times, the impact of the ongoing genocide against Gaza for nearly two years on global cinema, especially in its most important stronghold, Hollywood.

Waxman stated that Gaza has incited Hollywood against itself, and that the Venice and Toronto International Film Festivals have highlighted the divisions created by the war in Gaza.

This closure comes shortly after it was reopened for seven weeks, during which the 35th convoy of aid entered.

It is worth noting that the occupation continues to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid through the Rafah border crossing from the Palestinian side.

Activist Thunberg calls for teaching about the Gaza genocide: I didn't learn about Palestine in schools.

Environmental activist Greta Thunberg, who participated in the "Madeleine" ship mission and was arrested by the Israeli occupation, called for teaching school children about the genocide in Gaza.

In statements made by the Swedish activist, reported by The Times correspondent Georgia Lambert, she urged schools to stop teaching false narratives that ignore or distort the facts of genocide.

Thunberg spoke days before two ships from the fleet were targeted in a drone airstrike while docked in a Tunisian port. It was reported that one of them was flying the British flag.

Thunberg (22 years old) said: "I believe that schools should highlight the early warning signs of genocide, such as the Holocaust, and apply them to what we are currently witnessing to ensure it does not happen again" and "we must teach children from a young age that this is a very dangerous slope. It is crucial to understand the reality of our world if we want to change it."

She added, "Current education systems have completely failed to teach us an understanding of the historical times we live in and to learn from history to prevent these things from happening over and over again."

In England, teaching the Holocaust is a legal requirement in Key Stage 3, and the Labour Party's review of the curriculum and assessment is examining how to ensure all young people receive a broad and comprehensive education.

The Department for Education states that schools can teach a wide range of issues, including difficult or controversial topics, but insists that this must follow strict rules regarding political balance and integrity.

Schools across Britain commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27, which marks the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp.

On Holocaust Memorial Day, millions of victims who fell, as well as victims of Nazi persecution and subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Darfur, are remembered.

Thunberg, who gained fame at the age of fifteen for organizing a school strike demanding the Swedish government take climate action, said she was inspired by the protests in the UK against the government's ban on the "Palestine Movement."

She said: "I was inspired by the massive mobilization happening in the UK for the people of Palestine, from which I believe we can learn a lot" and "people of all ages, not just camp students, but also those brave enough to face terrorism charges just for saying they support the Palestine Movement, the UK government is a disgrace to everything we know."

She said: "I did not learn in school about what was happening in Palestine, because it was always portrayed as a conflict. Then when you discover that this is genocide and occupation and apartheid and ethnic cleansing, that is not what we learned in school at all."

Genocide is defined under international law as acts committed with the intent to destroy a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group, in whole or in part.

While the British government refuses to consider what is happening in Gaza as genocide according to this definition, a special committee at the United Nations found that Israel's actions in Gaza "align with the characteristics of genocide."

Nevertheless, Thunberg argued that "the occurrence of genocide cannot be denied."

She also spoke about her struggles with "anxiety and depression due to climate change."

She said: "We learned that to change this situation, we can provide paper and turn off the lights to save energy. It was like a light pat on the back, as if we were saying: 'No, no, don't exaggerate, don't worry about anything, everything is under control,' while it was very clear that we are not in control of anything. That was a kind of extreme arrogance."

She followed her school's advice and then became a vegetarian, which led her to avoid flights and reduce her consumption before engaging in political activism.

She said: "The best remedy for anxiety and feeling overwhelmed is to take concrete action about it."

The European Parliament condemns the occupation for preventing aid to Gaza.. What about Netanyahu and his ministers?

The European Parliament condemned the occupation's ban on the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, calling for the opening of all border crossings.

The European Parliament voted on a resolution regarding Gaza, with a majority of 305 votes in favor, 151 votes against, and 122 parliamentarians abstaining from voting.

The European Parliament stated in a statement following the vote that it "strongly condemns Israel's prevention of humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip, which has led to famine."

The European Parliament also called for the opening of all border crossings and urged the re-funding of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), expressing its objection to the current aid distribution system.

It also announced its support for the decision of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to suspend "bilateral support for Israel and its efforts to suspend the trade provisions in the EU-Israel partnership agreement."

The European Parliament called for sanctions against the far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, and settlers and Israeli activists who support violence in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The Parliament urged all EU institutions and member states to take diplomatic steps to ensure adherence to the two-state solution, while also calling for "the complete disarmament of Gaza and the exclusion of Hamas from managing the sector" and the re-establishment of a Palestinian Authority as the sole governing body.

The Parliament also encouraged EU countries to execute arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court and emphasized the need for member states to consider recognizing the State of Palestine.

The European Parliament described Israel as a "key partner of the EU in combating regional terrorism" and affirmed its right to self-defense, provided it complies with international law.

The statement claimed that "Israel's right to self-defense" does not justify the "military operations" in Gaza that have caused unbearable suffering for civilians.

It is noted that the joint resolution presented by the Socialist and Democratic groups, "Renew Europe," and the Greens included provisions such as recognition of genocide, an arms embargo on Israel, and the complete suspension of the partnership agreement; however, these provisions were removed from the text due to a lack of consensus.

On Wednesday, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called for "suspending free trade with Israel," and spoke about Europe's "painful inability to respond to the war on Gaza and the ensuing humanitarian disaster."

In her strongest condemnation of the occupation government, von der Leyen criticized the illegal settlement plans that would divide the occupied West Bank in two, as well as the incitement to violence by extremist Israeli ministers, describing it as a "clear attempt to undermine the two-state solution."

She made these remarks during her annual "State of the Union" address before the European Parliament in Strasbourg, where she depicted a troubled world where "lines of combat are being drawn" and "dependencies are being armed ruthlessly."

Von der Leyen also described Europe's inability to agree on a response to Gaza as painful and stated that the EU's executive will freeze its bilateral support for Israel, aside from funds for civil society organizations and the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial center.

The occupation is prosecuting 6 soldiers who refused to return to fight in Gaza.

The official Israeli broadcasting authority stated that "six soldiers from the Givati Brigade of the army refused to participate in a new round of fighting in the Gaza Strip, prompting their leadership to punish them with imprisonment."

The authority reported that security sources said, "The six soldiers were supposed to enter the northern Gaza Strip, specifically the Jabalia area, but they informed their leaders that they were suffering from physical exhaustion and psychological pressure after nearly two years of continuous operations inside Gaza."

The authority added that "despite their warnings about their psychological deterioration, they were brought to a military trial."

It noted that three of the soldiers were convicted of "refusing orders" and sentenced to 10 days in prison, while two others received suspended prison sentences, and the sixth is awaiting retrial.

According to the authority, the six soldiers "participated dozens of times in incursions into the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war, lost comrades during battles, and faced difficult field incidents."

This incident adds to previous similar cases that reflect increasing signs of discontent and psychological exhaustion within the ranks of the Israeli occupation army, nearly two years after the Gaza war, amid ongoing casualties and continuous field pressure.

In recent times, dozens of Israeli military personnel have announced their refusal to participate in the war in Gaza, asserting that its continuation aims to keep Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in power at the expense of Israeli prisoners.

The occupying state estimates that there are 48 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, of whom 20 are alive, while more than 10,800 Palestinians are imprisoned in its jails, suffering from torture, starvation, and medical neglect, with many having died, according to Palestinian and Israeli human rights and media reports.

Repeatedly, Hamas has confirmed its readiness to release Israeli prisoners "all at once" in exchange for ending the genocide and withdrawing the Israeli army from Gaza and releasing Palestinian prisoners, but Netanyahu, who is wanted by international justice, evades this by insisting on the continuation of the occupation of Gaza.

The occupying state, with American support, is committing genocide in Gaza since October 2023, resulting in 64,718 martyrs and 163,859 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, and hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, with famine killing 411 Palestinians, including 142 children.

Germany confirms that it will support the United Nations resolution on the two-state solution.

A spokesperson for the German government said on Thursday that Berlin will support the United Nations resolution on a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but does not believe the time is right to recognize a Palestinian state.

The spokesperson added, "Germany will support such a resolution that simply describes the current situation in international law," noting that Berlin "has always supported the two-state solution and consistently calls for it."

The spokesperson further stated, "Chancellor (Friedrich Merz) reaffirmed two days ago that Germany does not see the time as right to recognize a Palestinian state."

Britain, France, Canada, Australia, and Belgium have announced that they will recognize a Palestinian state at the United Nations General Assembly this month, although London said it might reconsider if Israel takes steps to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and commits to a long-term peace process.

The United States strongly opposes any move by its European allies to recognize a Palestinian state.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced last week that the United States has informed other countries that recognizing a Palestinian state would cause more problems.

Those who see recognition of the Palestinian state as a symbolic gesture more than anything else point to the limited impact in the conflict from countries like China, India, Russia, and many Arab nations that have recognized the Palestinians' right to establish their own state for decades.

After the bombing of Doha: American protection collapses and Arab countries are called to confront Israel.

By bombing the capital of Qatar for the first time and killing six people, Israel confirmed that Arab sovereignty offers no protection, while Washington turns a blind eye to this blatant escalation.

The Israeli attack on Doha is not an ordinary escalation; it is a thunderbolt that shakes every palace, every ministry, and every street in the Arab world. It was not an attack on Hamas, nor on Gaza, but on the very idea that any Arab capital is safe.

Within weeks, Israel bombed Gaza, the West Bank, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran, and last year it also bombed Iraq, targeting two ships from the steadfast fleet in Tunisia just two days ago.
