UN adopts a "binding" declaration for a two-state solution and the end of the war in Gaza.

The United Nations General Assembly voted today, Friday, on a declaration that outlines "concrete, time-bound, and irreversible steps" towards a two-state solution between the Israeli occupying state and the Palestinians, ahead of a meeting of world leaders, with a significant majority.

The New York Declaration was adopted by the General Assembly regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state with 142 votes in favor, 10 against, and 12 abstentions, where a significant majority acknowledged a declaration that specifies concrete, time-bound, and irreversible steps towards a two-state solution between the Israeli occupation and the Palestinians.

The seven-page declaration came as a result of an international conference that was held at the United Nations last July, hosted by Saudi Arabia and France regarding the decades-long conflict.

Both the United States and the Israeli occupying state boycotted this conference.

In the same context, the United Nations General Assembly's declaration condemned the ongoing aggression of the Israeli occupation against all civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip, the civilian infrastructure, the blockade, and starvation, and called for an immediate end to the Gaza war.

It is noteworthy that on the 707th day of the genocidal war on Gaza, the Israeli occupation continued its intensive bombardment of the entire besieged strip, resulting in new massacres.

Several sources at Al-Shifa Hospital reported the martyrdom of 14 Palestinians in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Al-Touam area north of Gaza City, just this Friday morning.

Several sources in Gaza hospitals reported that nearly 50 Palestinians have been martyred by the occupation's fire since dawn today, including 37 in Gaza City and northern Gaza.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the toll of the Israeli occupation's aggression has risen to 64,756 martyrs and 164,059 injured since October 7, 2023.

It continued that the total number of martyrs from the struggle for livelihood who reached hospitals is 2,479 martyrs and more than 18,091 injured, while the number of martyrs from starvation has reached nearly 413, including 143 children.
