Hebrew media: Netanyahu may be forced to allow the Palestinian Authority to manage Gaza.

Close associates of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that his government may ultimately have to allow the Palestinian Authority to manage the Gaza Strip, as part of the plan being pushed by U.S. President Donald Trump's administration.

The official broadcasting agency reported, citing unnamed associates of Netanyahu, that his government will eventually have to allow the Palestinian Authority to manage the Gaza Strip "because this is part of a plan formulated by Washington."

Netanyahu's government had previously set five conditions for ending the war in Gaza: the disarmament of "Hamas," the return of both living and deceased prisoners, the demilitarization of Gaza, Israel's security control over it, and the establishment of a civilian administration that is not affiliated with "Hamas" or the Palestinian Authority.
