The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's welcome of the results of the report issued by the Independent International Commission of Inquiry of the United Nations, which included facts about the Israeli occupation forces committing acts of genocide against unarmed civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry stated in a statement issued today, Tuesday, that "this report clearly shows what the brotherly Palestinian people are subjected to in terms of crimes and violations, and the Kingdom reiterates its call to the international community to take serious steps to enforce international resolutions and implement the two-state solution, and to end the suffering endured by the Palestinian people."
In another statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's welcome of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg's announcement of its intention to recognize the State of Palestine.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirmed that this positive step supports the path to implementing the two-state solution and achieving peace, reiterating its call to all partners around the world to take similar steps to recognize the State of Palestine in a way that achieves just and comprehensive peace.
