Nicaragua is moving to sever diplomatic ties with Israel, which has been publicly criticized by the government of Daniel Ortega over its aggression in Gaza, the country's vice president announced Friday.
"Our president has asked the Foreign Ministry... to move forward with severing diplomatic relations with the fascist and criminal government of Israel," Rosario Murillo, Ortega's vice president and wife, told state media.
