The official spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh , held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the dangerous escalation tonight in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack on citizens in the mosque’s courtyards and alleys of the Old City.
In a press statement, Abu Rudeineh warned of the continuation of the Israeli escalation, calling on the US administration to intervene and put pressure on the occupation government to stop its crimes and attacks before it is too late.
He said: The main goal of this Israeli escalation is to tense the atmosphere and drag matters into the square of violence in the month of Ramadan, especially after the large numbers of citizens that crawled today to pray in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
