Gaza - "Jerusalem" dot com - The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) called today, Wednesday, for the need to treat detainees in connection with the conflict humanely, in accordance with international humanitarian law.

In a statement, the committee stressed the need to provide them with medical care, protect them from public curiosity, and allow them to communicate with their families.

She said: All those who are seriously ill should be released on humanitarian grounds.

The statement of the International Committee of the Red Cross comes a day after the Al-Qassam Brigades , the military wing of Hamas, published a video clip of an Israeli prisoner, who said his health condition had recently deteriorated.
