The foreign ministers of the G7 countries, along with the High Representative of the European Union, emphasized the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to alleviate the suffering of civilians.
The ministers stressed during their meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York the importance of a wide flow of humanitarian aid and securing the release of all hostages.
The G7 ministers (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States) expressed their readiness to cooperate with Arab countries on proposals for the reconstruction of Gaza and the establishment of peace.
