Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation authorities forced the Qanbar family to self-demolish their home in the town of Jabal Mukaber, southeast of Jerusalem.
The young man, Ahmed Musa Al-Qanbar, said that he was forced to demolish his house, which he houses with his family and four children, to avoid paying heavy fines to the occupation municipality in Jerusalem.
It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities demolished 318 facilities and notified the demolition of 359 others in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, during the first half of 2024, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
