Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper quoted informed sources as saying that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden may make a statement from Washington regarding the detainees based on the proposal presented by Biden at the end of last May.
It added, quoting Israeli soldiers and officers who participated in the battles of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, that the fighting in Gaza is complicated and the Al-Qassam Brigades are changing their tactics, in light of Netanyahu’s insistence on continuing the war.
It is noteworthy that Netanyahu will deliver a speech before Congress on the 25th of this month, and it is planned that he will go to Washington in the coming days.
