Dozens were killed and hundreds injured during the past 24 hours, as a result of the raids launched by the Israeli army on the central Gaza Strip and the city of Rafah, while the threats of a ground operation still threaten the city.
On Sunday, as the war entered its 205th day, the Israeli Air Force intensified its raids on various areas in the Gaza Strip, while Israeli artillery renewed its bombing of homes, residential squares, and populated areas, leaving dead and wounded, most of them children, women, and the elderly.
The raids and bombings come amid renewed movements and attempts to revive negotiations with the aim of concluding an exchange deal between Hamas and Israel, and a ceasefire.
The Hamas movement said that it had received the latest deal proposal and was in the process of studying it, while protests by thousands of Israelis continued in several cities to demand an agreement that would release the hostages in the Gaza Strip.
