Our national football team achieved an important victory over its Bahraini brother, with two goals to one, in the friendly match that brought them together, on Saturday evening, at Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Stadium in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
Milad Termanini opened the scoring for our national team in the 51st minute, and Islam Al-Batran added the second goal in the 61st minute, before Sayed Diaa Sayed Saeed reduced the score for Bahrain in the 80th minute.
The "Al-Fida'i" goalkeeper, Rami Hamada, starred in the match, who saved a penalty kick that was awarded by the referee in the 40th minute for the Bahraini national team, and was executed by Mahdi Abdul-Jabbar, and also blocked a number of Bahraini chances throughout the match.
This match comes as part of Al-Fidai's preparations for the upcoming events, including the World Cup qualifiers, next November, and the Asian Cup finals in January 2024 in Qatar.
Our national team had conducted a training camp in the Jordanian capital, Amman, before traveling to Bahrain.
