UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) spokesperson, Olga Cherevko, stated that the occupation has imposed a death sentence on the city of Gaza, indicating that Palestinians have no choice but to either leave the city or die.
This was during a press conference she held via video call from the Deir al-Balah area in southern Gaza, where she spoke to a group of journalists working at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.
Cherevko reported: "Hundreds of thousands of exhausted, weary, and terrified civilians have been ordered to flee to an overcrowded area, where even small animals are forced to search for space to move," referring to the occupation's warnings to evacuate the residents of Gaza City and occupy it.
The city of Gaza has been sentenced to death, either leave or die.
