The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the Israeli army's stopping of a UN convoy on its way to carry out a polio vaccination campaign in northern Gaza is the latest violation against UN staff, despite prior notification and coordination.
The Relief Agency explained, in a statement issued today, Tuesday, that the Israeli army stopped the UN convoy heading to northern Gaza yesterday, to implement the vaccination campaign, threatening with weapons and detaining its employees, and its bulldozers caused damage to its vehicles.
