The occupation is using a new mechanism to destroy Gaza.. Explosions are causing earthquakes with a magnitude of 3.7 degrees.

The Hamas movement stated on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army is using explosive-laden drones carrying tons of explosives with the aim of exterminating civilians and destroying residential neighborhoods in Gaza City, as part of the genocide it has been committing in the sector for nearly two years.

It added in a statement that "the occupation army drives the explosive-laden vehicles deep into residential neighborhoods and then detonates them to create the widest area of destruction and killing," indicating that human rights organizations have documented the detonation of about 120 vehicles in one week, loaded with hundreds of tons of explosives.

The Hamas statement confirmed that "the world is witnessing horrific crimes committed by the war criminal government (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, including the attempt to destroy Gaza City and displace its residents under the weight of massacres and bombardment, and the use of various means of killing and extermination, foremost among them the explosive drones."

It also called on the international community, Arab and Islamic countries, and international institutions to "take immediate action to stop these crimes and take practical steps to deter the occupation and hold its leaders accountable for what they have committed against the Palestinian people and humanity."

For its part, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated in a statement that the occupation army detonates more than 17 explosive-laden vehicles daily in Gaza City, "each of which is equivalent to an earthquake of 3.7 degrees on the Richter scale."

The monitor, based in Geneva, clarified that "the Israeli occupation army detonated about 120 explosive-laden vehicles carrying approximately 840 tons of explosives among the residential homes in Gaza City during the past week."

The Israeli occupation continues its intensive bombardment of neighborhoods in Gaza City, especially the western areas crowded with displaced persons coming from the eastern neighborhoods after the extensive destruction carried out by the Israeli forces there, coinciding with the execution of demolition operations of residential facilities in the northwestern neighborhoods.

On the eighth of last month, the Israeli government approved a plan proposed by Netanyahu to gradually reoccupy the Gaza Strip entirely, starting with Gaza City, which is home to about one million Palestinians.

With American support, the occupying state has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 65,208 martyrs and 166,271 injured, most of whom are children and women, and a famine that claimed the lives of 442 Palestinians, including 147 children.

Settlement expert: Imposing permits for entering Palestinian villages is a mini scenario of what will happen in the West Bank.

The settlement expert Khalil Tafkaji stated that the Israeli occupation is working to geographically dismantle Palestinian cities and villages in the West Bank by subjecting residents to security permits that restrict their daily activities, noting that the imposition of permits for entering villages in occupied Jerusalem is part of the preparation for expulsion.

It is mentioned that the Israeli occupation forces have imposed on the residents of the towns of "Beit Iksa," "Nabi Samuel," and "Al-Khalayla neighborhood," northwest of occupied Jerusalem, the requirement to obtain permits to enter them, while continuing their incursions into several areas in the occupied West Bank, and carrying out extensive raids and arrests.

Based on this decision, those without a permit will not be able to cross the military checkpoint at the entrances to the three villages, in a move to subject them to occupation control, and to consider their residents as inhabitants rather than landowners.

Tafkaji clarified that no one will be able to enter the Palestinian village of "Beit Iksa," located in the northwest of Jerusalem, except after obtaining security approval from the Israeli sovereign authorities, which complicates the ability of Palestinians from other villages to visit their relatives or acquaintances from the village.

As for the village of "Nabi Samuel," which has a population of no more than 150 residents, Tafkaji noted in his statements the history of the village, which was turned into a nature reserve after being destroyed by the Israeli occupation in 1972, and then its lands, which amounted to about 3,500 dunams, were confiscated in 1995.

The village of "Al-Khalayla," a small population center surrounded by Israeli settlements, is also subjected to what the settlement expert described as a "process of expulsion," and it is now "under complete Israeli military sovereignty."

Tafkaji describes the scene in Al-Khalayla as a "miniature scenario of what will soon happen in the West Bank," as the occupation exerts the utmost forms of pressure on the village residents in carrying out their daily activities.

According to the expert, a Palestinian residing in the village must obtain two permits, one when leaving his workplace and another when leaving his residence.

Regarding the coincidence of the Israeli decision concerning the three villages with the start of United Nations talks that will witness recognition of the Palestinian state scheduled for next Monday, the settlement expert ruled out that the occupation's measures are a calculated step to place obstacles in front of the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Tafkaji explained that any recognition of the Palestinian state now does not bring anything new to the Palestinian cause, affirming that the occupation has indeed managed to restrict this state and build its settlements on it, clarifying that the Israeli occupation has created geographical gaps between Palestinian cities and villages, especially in the West Bank.

Prominent Israeli academic: The Gaza war is doomed to failure despite military superiority.

An article published by a newspaper estimated that the war against the Gaza Strip is doomed to failure, despite what appears to be military superiority on the ground, emphasizing that "Israel" is paying a heavy price on various political, strategic, social, and economic levels.

Professor Boaz Ganor, head of "Reichman University," mentioned that the "Iron Swords" war, which erupted following the attack on October 7, 2023, began as a "justified" war but turned into a costly and destructive optional war.

Ganor added that while "Israel" may seem militarily superior in Gaza, it is suffering a resounding defeat on all other strategic levels, explaining that each additional day of fighting imposes a heavy toll.

The Palestinian community in Austria organized, today Saturday, in collaboration with about 70 Austrian institutions, organizations, activists, civil society institutions, and charitable associations, and with the participation of the State of Palestine's mission to Austria, a mass demonstration that is the largest of its kind in terms of popular participation.

It was attended by tens of thousands, in an unprecedented scene in the Austrian capital. The event began with a series of speeches in front of "Christian Broda" square, and the demonstration proceeded towards the famous "Mariahilfer" street, reaching the Austrian parliament.

The event concluded with the participation of tens of thousands of demonstrators, raising the Palestinian flag and holding banners expressing their rejection of the war on Gaza, condemning the genocide against the Palestinian people, and demanding an end to the occupation, the achievement of freedom and independence, and recognition of the Palestinian state.

The organizers emphasized that this historic mass movement reflects a deep shift in Austrian and European public opinion regarding the Palestinian cause, as the scope of solidarity expands day by day, and the voices calling for an immediate end to the war and accountability for the perpetrators of crimes are growing.

The slogans and chants echoed by the demonstrators stressed that Palestine is a humanitarian issue, calling on the international community to take urgent action to save civilians in Gaza and to stop the ongoing bloodshed.

The demonstration was described as a cry of human conscience from the heart of Vienna, and a clear message to decision-makers that the Palestinian cause is no longer a distant issue, but has become strongly present in the European street, and that the world's silence in the face of genocide is no longer acceptable.

The Egyptian and Singaporean presidents affirm their rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam confirmed their rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land. This came during a press conference held by the two presidents today, Saturday, following President El-Sisi's reception of his Singaporean counterpart at the Ittihadiya Palace, as part of the official visit he is making to Cairo, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Egyptian presidential spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy indicated that the meeting addressed updates on regional and international issues of mutual interest, particularly the situation in the Middle East, where President El-Sisi reviewed the developments of Egyptian efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, facilitate humanitarian aid, and release hostages and prisoners.

He added that the two presidents emphasized their rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land. The Egyptian president stated during the conference, "I discussed with President Tharman the critical turning point and exceptional circumstances facing the Middle East, especially regarding the Palestinian issue, where we addressed the Egyptian efforts aimed at stopping the war in Gaza and facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid in light of the worsening crisis faced by the Palestinian people due to the brutal Israeli practices, particularly in light of the expansion of military operations in the Gaza Strip."

The official Palestinian news agency reported that "Israeli occupation authorities imposed on the residents of the Khalayla neighborhood and the towns of Beit Iksa and Nabi Samuel, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, the requirement to obtain special permits to move to and from their villages, in a step that deepens the policy of isolation and restricts movement and control over the land."

The three villages suffer from near-total isolation due to the construction of the separation wall and the military checkpoints and gates surrounding them, which has deprived them of natural urban expansion, as their residents are prohibited from building new homes or bringing in essential supplies.

Who will speak at the United Nations and what is the agenda?

World leaders gather in New York every September to deliver speeches over several days at the United Nations General Assembly, which begins its eightieth session on Tuesday.

World leaders will seek solutions to global challenges in order to promote peace, security, and sustainable development, under the theme "Better Together: 80 Years and More for Peace, Development, and Human Rights."

After 8 decades since its establishment, the United Nations remains the only place on Earth where countries can meet to address their differences and find common ground that contributes to shaping their shared future.

The United Nations was founded in 1945 with the original membership of 51, and its membership has since increased to 193.

Leaders of two non-member states with observer status - known in the UN as the Holy See and the State of Palestine - as well as a member observer, the European Union, can also speak.

It has been customary for Brazil to always be the first member state to speak.

This is attributed, according to UN officials, to Brazil having volunteered to speak first in the early years of the international organization when other countries were hesitant to do so.

As the host country of the UN headquarters in New York, the United States is the second country to deliver its speech at the General Assembly.

From there, the list is arranged based on hierarchy and order of appearance.

Leaders are asked to adhere to a voluntary time limit of 15 minutes.

According to UN records, one of the longest speeches delivered during the opening of the General Assembly was in 1960 by Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who spoke for nearly 4 and a half hours.

Each session of the General Assembly has a specific theme.

Leaders may briefly address the specified theme before moving on to any other issue of their choosing.

This year's theme is "Better Together: 80 Years and More for Peace, Development, and Human Rights."

Other topics likely to be addressed by leaders include Gaza, as leaders gather with the war in Gaza nearing its two-year mark.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to deliver a speech at the General Assembly next Friday.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will not attend in person as the United States, a strong ally of Israel, has stated it will not grant him a visa.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will seek global support for Kyiv.

Iranian President Masoud Bezhashkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi are expected to head to the United Nations.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara will participate for the first time this year in the United Nations General Assembly.

Some leaders are likely to discuss the ongoing war in Sudan next week.

As the world struggles to curb global warming, leaders of small island states and other countries most affected by climate change are expected to urge action once again.

One day before the speeches begin, leaders will gather on Monday to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of a historic women's rights conference.

Next year, the United Nations will select a new Secretary-General.

Kalamar: UN member states have made no effort to stop the genocide in Gaza.

Washington - "Al-Quds" dot com - Saeed Arikat

With the convening of the United Nations General Assembly, prominent voices from the global civil society - including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and the Hague Group - gathered on Thursday to urge the international community to "have the courage" to confront Israel's ongoing violations.

The Secretary General of Amnesty International, Agnes Callamard, presented a recently released report by the organization, naming companies complicit in assisting Israel in committing genocide in Gaza and inciting it, including Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Palantir Technologies, and Hyundai HD.

She emphasized that Amnesty International is following a path previously taken by many organizations, which aims to target the "global political economy of repression."

Callamard stated in response to a journalist's question that there is a need to halt the global political economy that fuels Israel's crimes, calling on civil society to mobilize to stop the "addiction of corporations, cities, and universities to profit," which she described as "an addiction to genocide, occupation, and apartheid."

On September 18, 2024, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution calling for Israel to withdraw from the occupied territories and urging all countries to take effective action against Israel's violations of international law, including accountability, sanctions, and halting support, within one year, with full implementation of the interim measures taken by the International Court of Justice in the genocide case against Israel.

Each NGO presented the steps it has taken to document Israel's occupation, highlighting ongoing campaigns aimed at mobilizing efforts and accountability.

In addition to calling on member states to boycott companies linked to Israel's repression of Palestinians, Callamard echoed the committee's demand for the international community to do more.

Callamard expressed frustration: "Yes, they have excelled at issuing strong statements. Where are the damn actions? Trade continued. Economic relations continued. They are trying to appease the masses, because the last thing they want to see is the public in the streets. But, frankly, they have done nothing at all. They have done nothing to ensure that their trade relations with Israel stop." She affirmed that Palestine is a scientific issue, not just a Palestinian one.

Callamard noted that it is appropriate for much focus to be placed on the United States and Europe, given their relations with Israel, but she added that the Arab world, Latin America, and Asia also have a role to play.

Callamard warned: "We are all facing a real existential crisis, which is the potential demise of international law that has brought us together for the past eighty years. Over the past twenty-four months, and perhaps even before that, we have witnessed a real turning point. So, it goes beyond the United Nations; it is about our identity as a global community, who we aspire to be, and what we wish to offer our children and grandchildren."

For her part, the Executive Secretary of the Hague Group, Varsha Gandikota-Nellutla, acknowledged that the past two years have shown how the existing multilateral and legal institutions "have not been sufficient to stop genocide."

She stated that the only solution is for all UN members to unite as they did in the Hague Group, a coalition of countries committed to "coordinated legal and diplomatic measures" in defense of international law and solidarity with the people of Palestine.

The growing boycott of Western artists and celebrities against the occupying state due to the genocide in Gaza.

An increasing number of Western artists in the fields of music, filmmaking, and publishing are calling for a cultural boycott of "Israel" due to its war in Gaza, hoping to achieve similar success to the movement in South Africa during the apartheid era.

In light of the refusal of most Western governments to impose economic sanctions on "Israel," musicians, celebrities, and writers hope to rally public pressure for further action.

British actor Khalid Abdalla, who starred in the films "The Kite Runner" and "The Crown," told AFP after signing a petition calling for a boycott of certain Israeli cinema bodies, "I have no doubt that we have reached a global turning point."

The open letter issued by "Cinema Workers for Palestine" has gathered thousands of signatories, including actors Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone, who pledged to sever ties with any Israeli institutions "involved in genocide" in Gaza.

Abdalla added during an interview on Friday, "The mobilization has begun now and is extending to various fields. Not just in the film industry."

At the Emmy Awards this week, winners from Javier Bardem to Hannah Einbinder, star of " Hacks," spoke about Gaza, echoing similar statements made during the Venice Film Festival earlier this month.

On Thursday, the band "Massive Attack," pioneers of British trip-hop music, announced their joining a musical group called "No Music for Genocide," which will allow artists to prevent their songs from being broadcast in "Israel."

In another context, "Israel" is facing a boycott in the Eurovision Song Contest, and composers have signed open letters while Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez leads a campaign to exclude "Israel" from sporting events.

Israeli conductor Ilan Volkov announced last week during a concert in Britain that he would no longer perform in his homeland.

Swedish academic Hakan Thörn from the University of Gothenburg, who authored a book on the boycott movement in South Africa, stated, "I believe we are witnessing a situation similar to the boycott movement against the apartheid regime in South Africa."

The sociologist added, "There was certainly a shift this spring when the world saw images of famine in Gaza."

The international boycott of the white racist government of South Africa began in earnest in the early 1960s after a massacre of Black protesters by police in Sharpeville.

The movement peaked with artists and sports teams refusing to participate in matches in that country, and boycott violators like the band Queen and Frank Sinatra faced widespread public criticism.

Thörn noted that many public figures have been hesitant to speak about the Gaza war.

The Israeli military operations in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of more than 65,000 people, mostly civilians, according to figures from the Gaza Ministry of Health.

Thörn explained, "The history of the Holocaust and the criticism of the pro-Palestinian movement for being anti-Semitic have created a serious obstacle to broader mobilization against what Israel is currently doing" in Gaza.

The campaign to boycott Israel, known as the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement, began 20 years ago due to its occupation of Palestinian territories.

The Israeli government accuses supporters of this campaign of anti-Semitism, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu often describes critics as "sympathetic to Hamas."

David Feldman, who heads the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism at Birkbeck College, University of London, stated that these remarks have created "an atmosphere of distrust regarding the boundaries of anti-Semitism."

He told AFP, "Any spread of anti-Semitic acts is concerning, but any current attempt to link the boycott movement against Israel to anti-Semitism is far from the truth."

He added, "It is a means of protesting Israel's destruction of Gaza and its continued killing of civilians."

Although today's activists against the Gaza war refer to an anti-apartheid movement, history offers them some impactful lessons.

After the start of the boycott movement in South Africa, it took 30 years before the regime fell, revealing the limits of international pressure campaigns.

Feldman, who authored a book on boycotts, added, "By the early 1970s, the boycott became the defining principle of a global anti-apartheid movement, but the movement alone was not enough."

The real suffering resulted from the gradual strangulation of the South African economy, as companies and banks withdrew under pressure, while the end of the Cold War sharply exacerbated the country's isolation.

In Israel, many artists fear the repercussions of the boycott movement

Gaza.. Israel kills 47 Palestinians and renews its warning to evacuate the city.

Since dawn on Saturday, the Israeli army has killed 47 Palestinians in scattered attacks on the Gaza Strip, coinciding with the detonation of residential buildings by explosive robots in the northern neighborhoods of Gaza City, while renewing its warning to Palestinians to evacuate the city and head to the southern part of the strip.

The Israeli attacks are concentrated in Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of at least 40 Palestinians. In the Al-Tuffah area east of the city, 9 Palestinians were killed due to an Israeli bombardment targeting the home of the 'Al-Jumla' family in Al-Shawa Square.

In the Al-Shati refugee camp west of the city, 5 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike that targeted the house of Majid, the brother of the director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Mohammed Abu Salmiya. Near Al-Yarmouk Stadium in the center of the city, two Palestinian children were killed and others injured in an Israeli bombardment targeting Al-Mu'tasim School, which shelters displaced persons.

In the Al-Sabra neighborhood south of the city, a Palestinian woman was killed and others injured in an Israeli strike that targeted a civilian gathering near the Jordanian hospital at dawn. Near the Islamic University building in the southern part of the city, several children and women were injured due to an Israeli airstrike targeting a tent for displaced persons.

Additionally, 23 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombardment targeting various neighborhoods in the city, with no details available about them. The Civil Defense reported in a statement that several Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire randomly fired by army drones towards homes in the northern and southern parts of the city.

Furthermore, the Israeli army launched a series of violent and intensive airstrikes (fire belt) on the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in the southwestern part of the city at night. In the northern part of the city, the Israeli army detonated several explosive vehicles 'robots' during the night in the area east of Sheikh Radwan and Al-Nafaq Street in its northern neighborhoods.

In the western part of the city, the Israeli army dropped leaflets in the sky over the Al-Shati camp, renewing its warning to Palestinians to evacuate and head to the southern areas. On Tuesday, the army announced that it had begun a 'wide ground operation' throughout Gaza City, involving regular and reserve forces from divisions 98, 162, and 36.

However, according to field evidence and local sources, no actual ground incursion was observed until Wednesday evening in the northern neighborhoods of the city. Thus, the Israeli army is present on the ground in several axes within Gaza City.

On August 8, the Israeli government approved a plan proposed by its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to gradually reoccupy the Gaza Strip entirely, starting with Gaza City, which is home to about one million Palestinians.

In the central part of the strip, Israeli attacks resulted in the deaths of at least two Palestinians. In the Al-Nuseirat camp, at least one Palestinian was killed and others injured in an Israeli strike targeting a civilian gathering on 20th Street.

In the southern part of the strip, Israeli attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 5 Palestinians. In the city of Rafah, one Palestinian was killed and 5 others waiting for aid were injured by Israeli gunfire near the distribution center to the north.

In Khan Younis, one Palestinian was killed in an Israeli strike near Abu Hamid Roundabout in the center of the city. Additionally, 3 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks on areas in the southern part of the strip, with no details available about them.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 65,174 deaths and 166,071 injuries, most of whom are children and women, and a famine that has claimed the lives of 440 Palestinians, including 147 children.

A newspaper reported that about 15 out of every 16 Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in the city of Gaza since March were civilians, based on data collected by an independent organization tracking armed conflicts.

According to the organization, the Israeli occupation army carried out more than 3,500 airstrikes on the Gaza Strip during the past six months, resulting in the martyrdom of over 9,500 people, most of whom were civilians.

In the Jenin governorate in the northern West Bank, large Israeli forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, closed its main entrances, and conducted a raid on homes, detaining at least 30 Palestinians.

Local sources indicated that the Israeli army turned the home of the mayor of Ya'bad, Amjad Atatrah, into an interrogation center, where dozens were held and subjected to interrogation that included beating and abuse.

In the Qalqilya governorate in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces arrested 6 Palestinians from the village of Hajja.

In the Nablus governorate in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces stormed the Al-Ain refugee camp west of the city, raided several homes, and arrested Muhammad Al-Mabrouk and Ahmad Jibril before withdrawing.

In the Hebron governorate in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, where they detained dozens of young men and conducted field interrogations before releasing them.

Alongside the massacre in Gaza, the Israeli army intensified its operations in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, while Israeli settlers escalated their attacks, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,042 Palestinians and the injury of about 10,160 others, in addition to the arrest of more than 19,000.

Intense raids and fire belts in Gaza, and the occupation closes Salah al-Din Street.

The Israeli occupation army continued its bombardment and violent airstrikes on various areas of Gaza City from the early hours of Saturday, leaving martyrs and injured, including displaced persons and aid seekers.

A correspondent reported renewed Israeli airstrikes on the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in the southwest of Gaza City at dawn. The occupation aircraft targeted homes and public facilities in the Tel al-Hawa and al-Sabra neighborhoods in southern Gaza City with incendiary belts, and detonated 10 explosive vehicles in the vicinity of the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood.

For its part, Al-Shifa Hospital reported the martyrdom of two children and injuries to others in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a school housing displaced persons in the center of Gaza City. An ambulance and emergency source also reported the martyrdom of a Palestinian woman and injuries to others in an attack by an Israeli drone on the al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City.

This comes as Palestinian sources stated that the occupation army fired at aid seekers near the Netzarim axis north of the al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza Strip.

According to the same sources, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the northern part of the al-Bureij camp in central Gaza Strip. A correspondent also reported intense Israeli shelling and the detonation of explosive vehicles in the northwestern areas of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced the closure of Salah al-Din Street in the Gaza Strip, which it temporarily opened to facilitate the departure of those fleeing from the intensity of the Israeli bombardment on Gaza City and the northern sector.

The occupation army stated that from this moment on, movement southward would only be possible via al-Rashid Street, adding that it would continue to operate with unprecedented and intense force.

The residents of Gaza City and northern Gaza continue to flee southward due to the ongoing Israeli military operation, amid harsh humanitarian conditions and scarce means of transportation, as the occupation has destroyed thousands of vehicles during its war on Gaza.

On Tuesday, the Israeli army announced the start of its military operation to occupy Gaza City with the participation of two military divisions, with a third division expected to join them soon.

The army stated in a statement, "We have entered another phase of the Gideon Vehicles operation in the heart of Gaza City," adding that the goal of the operation in Gaza City is to destroy the infrastructure of Hamas until its defeat.

Military estimates indicate that there are thousands of Hamas fighters inside Gaza City, according to the army's statement.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant tweeted on the X platform that "Gaza is burning," and that the army "is striking with an iron fist at the infrastructure of terrorism," working to "create the conditions for the release of hostages and the defeat of Hamas," as he described it.

Humanitarianly, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced yesterday, Friday, that the death toll from malnutrition resulting from the ongoing Israeli starvation policy since October 7, 2023, has risen to 440 Palestinians, including 147 children.

The ministry stated in a statement that it recorded 4 new deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, raising the total number of deaths over the past two years to 440 Palestinians.

Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings leading to Gaza, preventing any humanitarian aid, plunging the sector into famine despite the accumulation of relief trucks at its borders.

However, it allowed the entry of very limited amounts of aid less than two months ago, which do not meet the minimum needs of the starving population and do not end the famine, especially as most trucks have been looted by gangs that the Gaza government claims Israel protects.
