Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, warned of the collapse of the health situation in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the severe shortage of medical supplies, operating room supplies, medicines, and blood bags.
Al-Kaila said in a statement on Thursday that the large number of wounded currently exceeds the capacity of hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
She renewed an urgent call to all international and international health organizations, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and all countries of the world to intervene immediately and urgently to bring medicines and medical supplies, especially into operating rooms, emergency departments, and intensive care units.
Al-Kaila called on international health organizations to help open field hospitals in the Gaza Strip, to work to save the lives of the injured, especially women, children and the elderly.
