A Palestinian youth was killed, at dawn on Tuesday, as a result of a shooting crime that took place in the town of Tamra, inside the occupied territories.
According to the Hebrew website Ynet, Ashraf Akkawi, 35, a resident of the town, was seriously injured and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The young man was sitting in the yard of his house when he was shot.
This brings the death toll to 135 since the beginning of the year, which is a record and much higher than the record of the whole of last year, which reached 111.
