Exports to Israel decreased during March of 2022 by 6% compared to the previous month, and exports to Israel accounted for 85% of the total value of exports for March of 2022, and exports to the rest of the world decreased by 2% compared to the previous month.
Imports increased during March of 2022 by 21% compared to the previous month, and by 41% compared to March of 2021, with a value of $712.2 million.
Imports from Israel also increased during the month of March of 2022 by 14% compared to the previous month, and imports from it constituted 53% of the total value of imports for the month of March of 2022.
Imports from the rest of the world increased by 30% compared to the previous month.
The trade balance, which represents the difference between exports and imports, recorded an increase in the deficit value by 28% during March of 2022 compared to the previous month. It also increased by 52% compared to March of 2021, as the deficit amounted to $595.6 million. .
