Gaza under fire again.. Intense raids and bombing strike various parts of the sector

The eastern areas of Khan Yunis city were subjected to artillery bombardment and intense gunfire. The occupation army, on Friday, launched a series of air raids and intense artillery bombardment targeting scattered areas of the Gaza Strip, in a new and dangerous field escalation that affected areas still under its direct military control, where loud explosions shook the targeted areas.

Eyewitnesses reported that the bombardment was concentrated simultaneously on three main axes, starting from the north where artillery pounded the eastern areas of Gaza City, especially the Zaytoun and Shujaiya neighborhoods, passing through the center of the sector which witnessed air raids east of Al-Bureij camp, and reaching the south where the eastern areas of Khan Yunis city were subjected to artillery bombardment and intense gunfire.

No accurate toll of injuries or human losses has been recorded so far, due to these attacks occurring within occupation-controlled areas and the difficulty of medical teams reaching them, amid the continued control of the occupation army over the southern and eastern strips of the sector, in addition to large parts of the north, equivalent to about 50% of the total area of Gaza.

These developments come at a time when the occupation continues to violate the ceasefire agreement announced since October 10, 2025; where hundreds of violations have been recorded, resulting in the martyrdom of hundreds of victims, as part of a bloody war ongoing for two years that has left more than 71,000 martyrs and massive destruction estimated to cost billions of dollars to rebuild.
