Egypt: We are ready to build on Trump's vision to end the war in Gaza.

Egypt confirmed on Saturday its readiness to build on U.S. President Donald Trump's vision to end the war in Gaza and release Israeli prisoners in the region.

This was stated in a speech delivered by Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti before the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Abdel Atti said that Egypt affirms its readiness to build on Trump's vision to restore stability, end the war in Gaza, and release the prisoners.

He emphasized that "the situation in the Middle East is on the brink of explosion," pointing out that "Israel cannot enjoy security unless the countries in the region do."

He also stressed that "Egypt will not participate in a new Nakba for the Palestinians," and confirmed that "Egypt rejects any scenarios for the forced displacement" of Palestinians.

Regarding the filling and operation crisis of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam between Cairo and Addis Ababa, the Egyptian Foreign Minister noted that "Ethiopia has taken unilateral actions regarding its dam."

Abdel Atti said: "We are ready to resort to the judiciary and follow the legal mechanisms in this regard, and we will not be lenient regarding our rights."
