Saudi Arabia Renewed Its Call to Support the Two-State Solution Document and Condemns the Provocations of the Occupation at Al-Aqsa
Saudi Arabia affirms that supporting the two-state solution is the way to achieve peace and stability in the region, and the international community must act to stop the violations of the occupation.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia renewed, on Tuesday, its call to all member states of the United Nations to support the final document issued by the Conference on the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, which was chaired by the Kingdom in partnership with France. It affirmed that this document constitutes a comprehensive and implementable framework to achieve the two-state solution and enhance international security and peace.
In a statement following the Cabinet session held in Neom, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Minister of Media Salman bin Yusuf Al-Dosari stated that the Kingdom sees this document as an important opportunity to build a more stable future for the peoples of the region, calling on all countries of the world to support and back it.
Al-Dosari pointed out that the council followed the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people, especially on the humanitarian front, by continuing to send shelter, medical, and food aid to the Gaza Strip via the Saudi air and sea bridge.
In another context, the Saudi Cabinet strongly condemned the repeated provocative practices by officials of the occupying government against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on the international community to take urgent action to stop the violations that contradict international laws and norms.
In conclusion of his statement, the Saudi Minister of Media praised the results of the high-level international conference on peaceful settlement, affirming the Kingdom's welcome of the historic announcements made by several countries recognizing the State of Palestine, considering them steps that reflect the international community's commitment to resolving the Palestinian issue in accordance with international resolutions.
