The Jordanian and Emirati Foreign Ministers Agree to Enhance Efforts to Deliver Aid to Gaza

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed discussed during an official meeting ways to enhance cooperation in efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, as part of joint international efforts to assist the populations affected by the ongoing conflict.

The two ministers emphasized the importance of fully and swiftly opening all border crossings to ensure that aid enters all areas of the Strip immediately, stressing that air drops are not a substitute for land routes, but rather complement and support them under the current circumstances.

The ministers underscored the necessity of exerting all international efforts to achieve a permanent and immediate ceasefire in Gaza, with the aim of ending the humanitarian suffering and halting the ongoing military escalation.

In a related context, both Jordan and the UAE carried out an air drop of humanitarian aid, which also involved France, Germany, and Spain, aimed at providing urgent support to the populations affected by the conflict in Gaza.

These actions come as part of ongoing international efforts to support the Palestinian people, especially in light of the continuous military escalation, which has significantly deteriorated the humanitarian situation in the Strip.
