Israeli occupation forces tightened their military measures at the entrances to Tulkarm this Thursday morning, as part of their ongoing aggression against the governorate.
WAFA reported that Israeli occupation forces closed the Jabara Gate at the southern entrance to the city, preventing vehicles from passing, while firing live ammunition at them. This sparked fear and anxiety among residents, leading to traffic jams and disruption of movement between the city and its southern villages.
The occupation forces also closed the Anab military checkpoint east of Tulkarm in both directions, completely banning vehicle movement, and isolating the governorate from its eastern towns and the rest of the West Bank governorates.
These measures are part of the siege and restrictions imposed by the occupation authorities on the governorate, as their aggression against the city and its two camps continues for the 179th consecutive day.
