The Israeli occupation army announced, this Tuesday morning, the death of an Israeli prisoner held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
IDF representatives informed the family of prisoner Shlomo Mansour, who was captured from the "Kibbutz Kissufim" settlement in the Gaza envelope, that he was killed by Hamas in the attack of October 7, 2023.
The army said in its statement that his body is still being held by Hamas.
He explained that the decision to announce his death came based on intelligence information collected over the past months, and was approved by a committee of experts.
