The head of the Hamas National Relations Office, Hossam Badran, stressed the unity of the Palestinian position on the political and negotiating sides.
Badran said that the Palestinian demands conveyed by the negotiating delegation are subject to national, popular and factional consensus.
He explained that the contacts and meetings that take place with the national whole and the various factions and components of the Palestinian people are continuing in more than one arena.
Badran stressed that the negotiation file must lead to a complete and comprehensive ceasefire and a complete withdrawal of the occupation forces from all areas of the Gaza Strip.
He continued, "It must also lead to the return of the displaced to their homes unconditionally, and the commencement of relief and reconstruction in an absolute way that meets the needs of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and then reaching an honorable deal to exchange detainees and prisoners that ends the decades-long suffering of our prisoners in the occupation prisons."
