The authority that arose after Oslo, and was part of a political process, negotiations, and mutual commitments, no matter how dysfunctional it was, and aspired to be a stage on the way to the state, died long ago, and the authority that Netanyahu wants to maintain and reproduce is the new functional authority that is an organic part of Israeli security It does not engage in negotiations with it, but conditions and dictates are imposed on it, and it does not express the national identity and rights of the Palestinian people, but rather separate individuals and groups who are rewarded with crumbs and facilities, in return for betraying the interests and aspirations of their people, and therefore it is not required to appoint a vice president to head this new authority, but what is required A new-style authority that is part of its people's battle against the occupation and for national liberation.

And when Netanyahu disagrees with ministers in his government because they want to dissolve the authority, as it expresses national identity, and replace it with local administrations and authorities that are separate from each other, he does not want the Oslo authority as bad as it is, but rather a limiting authority par excellence, and he wants the succession struggle not to lead to the collapse of the authority that serve the interests of Israel.

The director redefining and renewing the national project

The way out of this deep Palestinian impasse is not a new agreement of unity between the factions similar to the previous agreements. The Palestinians need much more than that, to revive the national project, redefine it, and renew it, in light of the new circumstances, risks, realities, emerging experiences, available opportunities, and regional changes. The international community, and whoever undertakes this task is the one who holds the key to salvation and is able to lead the Palestinian people. So, it is necessary:

First: That the Palestinians renew their adherence to their national project after reformulating it, and know who they are exactly, where they stand, what they want now, and in the medium and long term, and what can be achieved at this stage, and how can this be done?

Second: The forces, institutions, and individuals that believe in reviving the national project, the choice of resistance, the unity of the people, the cause, the land, and the historical narrative, by taking the initiative, moving to impose the will and interests of the Palestinians, and blocking the path to hostile plans, including the installation of a caliph, leadership, and authority that is completely dependent on the occupation that perpetuates the current fait accompli and transforms it. to a final solution.

The widespread aggression carried out by the occupying power against Jenin and its camp, and the massacres it commits against our people there, including cold-blooded killings, house demolitions, razing streets and infrastructure, and the use of aircraft, armored vehicles and various mechanisms, is tantamount to a war of aggression taking place in front of the eyes and ears of the whole world, especially the Arab and Islamic world and in front of the side The Palestinian Authority and factions are all satisfied with issuing statements of denunciation and denunciation, and statements calling on citizens to stand firm, confront, and protect the resistance, while they do not provide citizens with the minimum requirements for steadfastness.

The occupation state used all kinds of weapons in its aggression, as if it considered Jenin and its camp a state. This, if anything, indicates the weakness of the occupying state that uses these weapons, including the air force, against a city and a camp with a limited population.

On the other hand, in addition to the weakness of the occupation side, it is terrified of the strength of the resistance, although it possesses only a few hand weapons, but it has the will and determination, and the masses around it, to reject the occupation that practices crime against our people in the occupied Palestinian territory, and the herds of settlers who would otherwise be protected The occupation army is theirs when they were able to wreak havoc on the land.

Which country is this that uses aviation and various military equipment to invade a camp?! It is a country that is not confident in itself and its capabilities, although it is a country that possesses equipment and strength comparable to many countries of the world, including Arab and Islamic countries.

It is a country that is not reassured about its existence forever, and therefore we see it carrying out what it is doing in terms of aggressive wars and massacres in an attempt to establish its existence, but it has not yet understood the experiences of the peoples who gained their independence from the colonial yoke, that the peoples are not defeated and that the occupation is destined to disappear.

What the occupying state is doing in terms of crimes against humanity, which are war crimes by all international standards and criteria, cannot bring it peace, and it cannot resolve the conflict for it, which it believes that Palestinian weakness enables it to do so, but these ideas and beliefs are just pipe dreams, the Palestinian people He cannot be defeated and he cannot raise the white flag or leave the lands of his fathers and grandfathers. On the contrary, since then he is more faithful, steadfast and steadfast than the previous generations. Likewise, subsequent generations will also be more steadfast and make sacrifices until the end of the occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

In the face of the will of confrontation and popular steadfastness, the Palestinian side should not be satisfied with issuing statements of denunciation and denunciation and resorting to America and the international community, most of which do not move a finger and many of its countries, led by America and others, support this Israeli entity, but rather work on the unity of the national ranks and end the devastating division and develop a strategy Unified work and re-consideration of the national project and work to embody it on the ground. The aggressive war against Jenin and its camp will fail abjectly in the face of the will of our people there, which cannot be defeated or softened.

The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz said, on Tuesday, that the ongoing military operation for the second day in Jenin will not fully achieve its goals of eliminating the resistance.

And she adds: The issue of controlling the Palestinians does not concern the decision-makers, and for them, the Palestinians do not deserve a horizon, and the youth among them must come to terms with the current situation.

She pointed out that the current generation in Jenin are those who did not live through the battle of 2002, or were born during it, and this generation lives in a state of despair and anger in light of the continuation of the Israeli operations and the Palestinian division, and for the Israeli public opinion, the image of victory may have been achieved, but every act of This prepares for more rounds of fighting and bloodshed.

And she concluded: Israel may be able to bring about a kind of limited calm, but the pictures from Jenin will be another fertile ground for the growth of another generation that does not see a horizon.
