Halevy: Confronting a single Egyptian policeman cost us a lot

The Israeli Army Chief of Staff, Herzi Halevy, expressed his deep dissatisfaction with the ability of one Egyptian policeman to inflict casualties among his forces that could not confront him last Saturday, which led to the killing of 3 Israeli soldiers before the martyrdom of the policeman, Mohamed Salah.

During his visit to the operations headquarters of the "knockout punch" maneuvers on the northern front, Halevi described the operation as a very difficult incident, in which 3 soldiers were lost in front of a single human threat.

Halevy said, "We lost two soldiers, a female soldier, in an operational incident, in the face of one threat, and against one terrorist, who was an Egyptian policeman, and the results were certainly difficult."

He added, addressing his soldiers: "Our mission is to do everything so that this does not happen again.. We have to do everything, know how to plan and confront terrorism, and know how to do vigilance and caution."

"Israel" is in the process of discussing a settlement plan that divides the West Bank into two halves

The so-called Central Planning Committee in the Israeli Civil Administration has scheduled a meeting next Monday to discuss the most sensitive plans for settlement construction in the West Bank, defining the E1 area that will link Jerusalem with the Ma’aleh Adumim settlement.

And it was stated in a report by the Hebrew Walla website that this plan is considered the most politically sensitive, and it will divide the West Bank into two halves, and aims to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state with territorial continuity in the future.

The website indicated that the meeting will take place despite being postponed several times due to international pressure, especially from the United States and European countries that have been exerting pressure on Israel for more than two decades to prevent a recurrence.

An Israeli official said that the committee session will aim to discuss the public's objections to the construction plan and objections to not allowing it, indicating that it will not take any practical decisions at the present time to promote settlement construction.

According to the Hebrew site, the United States and European countries want to prevent the slightest progress in this plan, and therefore it has been postponed several times in recent years, indicating that it may affect the already tense relations with the White House.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declined to comment on the report.

A stand for children in Gaza to demand a retraction of the suspension of humanitarian aid

Dozens of Palestinian children demonstrated today (Tuesday) in Gaza City to demand that the United Nations World Food Program redistribute the vouchers on which their families live.

Thousands of poor families in the Strip, which is inhabited by more than two million people and has been subject to a strict Israeli blockade since 2007, received text messages from the program at the beginning of last May stating that they had stopped obtaining the purchase voucher.

The messages of the World Food Program stated, "In light of the lack of resources that the program is currently facing, and in order to ensure the continuation of food assistance to the neediest and most vulnerable groups, we regret to inform you of a temporary cessation of food assistance for your family, starting from the first of June 2023."

The children participating in the demonstration organized by the affected families in front of the (UNDP) headquarters in western Gaza raised Palestinian flags, colored balloons and banners with slogans written in Arabic and English (No to the threat to the food security of children in Gaza) and (We have the right to live in dignity).

Subhi al-Maghrabi, the media spokesman for the affected families on the sidelines of the demonstration, told Xinhua that the suspension of the voucher comes in light of the difficult economic and social conditions that the people of Gaza live in as a result of the blockade imposed on the Strip for 16 years and the repeated Israeli wars.

Al-Maghrabi stressed the need for the World Food Program to retract its decision, which is rejected by all segments of Palestinian society, stressing the need for the people of the Strip, especially its children, to live like the rest of the world's peoples.

Those families get a voucher to buy their basic needs such as flour, sugar, rice, lentils, vegetable oil and other things from shops approved by the program, equivalent to the value of the voucher they get.

In turn, the child, Menna Mahmoud, while holding a Palestinian flag in her hand and a picture of a group of children in the other, told Xinhua, "We demand the United Nations to provide food, drink, safety and freedom for the people of Gaza."

Menna Mahmoud, 13, added that the children came to deliver a message to the United Nations that stopping the purchase voucher means an increase in the economic and social conditions, calling for the redistribution and restoration of life for thousands of families.

And the World Food Program announced in mid-May that 200,000 people in the Palestinian territories will not receive aid by this June, warning that the program may have to completely suspend its operations by next August if it does not receive any international funding.

"We need to take difficult measures to ensure the continuation of vital food assistance to the neediest families, otherwise they will be at risk of starvation without food aid," said WFP representative and country director in Palestine, Samer Abdel Jaber, in a statement posted on the program's website.

He added, "These are painful choices, but we have already exhausted all options to utilize the funding we have, and we are grateful for the continuous support we have received from donors over the past years, but the needs are increasing and the resources can no longer meet these needs."

According to the statement, the program urgently needs $51 million to maintain the necessary food and cash assistance in Palestine until the end of 2023.

He pointed out that the program's aid represents nearly half of what people spend on food, and the cessation of aid will affect the fragile local economy, which will negatively affect the network of 300 local stores contracted by the program throughout Palestine.

The statement indicated that the program pumps about 3 million dollars every month into the Palestinian economy through its direct programs related to electronic cash transfers that allow people to buy wheat flour, vegetable oils and frozen meat.

Abdul Jaber called on government donors and the private sector to continue their support for the program during this difficult time to provide a lifeline to the Palestinians as well as build sustainable food solutions in Palestine and ensure that work does not stop.

Palestinian NGOs warned of the repercussions of stopping the program's aid and its impact on the most vulnerable groups in the Strip, noting that more than 65% of its population suffer from food insecurity and 80% need and depend on aid.

Administrative detention...an open punishment and an unknown future

“Administrative detention is an open punishment and a serious crime that affects our lives and imposes on us a bitter and tragic reality in light of an unknown future.” This is how the released prisoner, Sabri Mahmoud, described the experience of administrative detention 5 times during the past years, stressing the importance of supporting the next movement of prisoners against this defunct British legacy. .

Mahmoud, 35 years old, from Jenin, was detained without charge or trial, according to him, under the pretext of a secret file for 5 years, during which he lost his business, was unable to complete his education, and has not married until today.

The prisoner, Mahmoud, told Al-Quds.com: “Whoever controls the prisoner is the Israeli security apparatus. He arrests the Palestinian based on suspicions and reports, and there is no evidence or proof. Therefore, the easiest option for them is administrative detention, which takes away our freedom, confiscates our rights, and keeps us hostages in their fist, without the slightest just human rights.” ".

Mahmoud stated that throughout his detention, he was not charged with any indictment, nor was he presented to a fair court that would guarantee him all his rights, explaining that the appeal session was a fabricated play between representatives of the Israeli intelligence prosecution and the court judge who always implements their instructions and requests, so that the prisoner remains a hostage to their grip. Until further notice, he means, as he says, "imprisonment for a year, two years, and three without any legal action, with depriving the prisoner of all his rights."

The editor, Mahmoud, referred to the detainee's great suffering throughout the period of administrative detention in terms of anxiety and psychological pressure on his life and fate. He is arrested and his fate is at the hands of the Israeli Shin Bet, and he keeps thinking about whether he will be extended? Will he be sent for interrogation?

The liberator, Mahmoud, called for supporting all the prisoners' movement and their upcoming battle, which was decided by the Supreme Committee in the middle of this month.

The families of the prisoners

At this time, the families of the prisoners expressed their concern and support for the decision to go on a hunger strike, and citizen Um Saeed from Jenin said, "Two years ago, the occupation arrested my son Basil Hussein Nasser under the pretext of a secret file without charge or trial. The lawyer filed an appeal and objection, but to no avail. He is still He is detained and we do not know his concern."

She added, "My son is a university student who has no political activity. He does not belong to an organization or faction. They arrested him from our house, and he was not subjected to investigation. So how long will his detention continue, destroy his future, and prevent him from completing his studies and returning to his life."

Support and support

Umm Al-Saeed, like other mothers of administrative prisoners, confirmed that she will join her son and go on hunger strike to demand his freedom.

In turn, the mother of the prisoner, Jamal Abdullah, who is administratively detained for the sixth time, said: "They have no choice but to go on hunger strike to wrest their freedom. 7 years have been lost from my son's life because of his arrests, so how long will this injustice continue?"

And she demanded that everyone go out with the families of the prisoners to the streets, and raise the voice of freedom, saying: "Enough of this injustice and punishment, we want them to be free among us."

Hamas condemns the campaign of arrests carried out by the Palestinian Authority

On Tuesday, Hamas strongly condemned the campaign of arrests, which it described as "frenzied" by the Palestinian security forces, last night against a number of activists, students and released prisoners in several areas of the West Bank.

In a statement, Hamas accused the authority of continuing to "throw dozens of citizens in its prisons under unacceptable pretexts." As stated in its statement.

And she considered what is happening as "the insistence of the Palestinian Authority on striking the social fabric and threatening civil peace by continuing political detention under flimsy pretexts, and disregarding all calls calling for stopping these arrests that humiliate the sacrifices of our revolutionary people, a policy that only serves the occupation and its escalating aggression." According to the statement.

It called on the security services to completely stop these violations, and to release all political detainees from their prisons, warning of the consequences of continuing this policy of targeting activists, students, and released prisoners, calling on the forces, factions, and human rights institutions to take a clear stance towards these violations, and to work hard to stop them in order to protect the dignity and sacrifices of our people.

A court postponed consideration of the case of Al-Shuaibi and Hajj Hussein

On Tuesday, the Ramallah Magistrate Court adjourned the case of referring the advisor to the Board of Directors of the Coalition for Integrity and Accountability (AMAN) for anti-corruption affairs, Azmi Al-Shuaibi, and the Executive Director of the Coalition, Issam Haj Hussein, to the court, on the grounds of a lawsuit filed by the Presidential Court against them. According to AMAN's annual report on "bleaching settlement dates".

The Public Prosecution Office referred the case to the Magistrate's Court.

At the request of the Defense Committee from the Magistrate Court, the case was postponed until 7-11-2023 to enable the Defense Committee to review the case file, photograph and study the investigation file, and present its defenses at the beginning of the next session.

This coincided with the organization of activists and human rights activists, a stand in front of the Courts Complex in Ramallah, to protest the transfer of Al-Shuaibi and Hussein to trial.

Participants called for holding corruption accountable and stopping the prosecution of human rights activists and activists.

The participants called for an end to intimidation methods, and the freedom of opinion and expression and the application of laws, stressing the independence of the judiciary.

Iran unveils its first hypersonic ballistic missile

On Tuesday, Iran's Revolutionary Guard unveiled its first home-made hypersonic ballistic missile, in the presence of President Ebrahim Raisi, who praised the new weapon, which "will make the country stronger."

Local media published pictures of the missile, which was produced by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' air force.

The missile, which was named Al-Fatah, was revealed on a platform during a ceremony held at an unspecified location in the presence of the president and military officials, including the head of the guard, Major General Hossein Salami, according to state television and the official news agency (IRNA).

"We thank God for this great achievement," Raisi said in his speech, as it "will make the country stronger."

He added that this missile will enhance Iran's "deterrent power", which "brings security and stable peace to the countries of the region."

The agency stated that the missile "has a range of 1,400 km, and its speed before hitting the target is Mach 13-15."

Last November, the Islamic Republic announced that it had built this missile, prompting concern from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) about Iran's nuclear program.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, has indicated that this declaration "should not affect" the negotiations between the major powers and Iran over its nuclear program. Negotiations have been deadlocked since the summer of 2022.

Unlike conventional ballistic missiles, hypersonic missiles fly at a low altitude in the atmosphere and can be controlled, making it difficult to predict their trajectory and intercept them.

The development of the Al-Fateh missile will enhance Iran's military arsenal and thus the fears of many countries, led by the United States and Israel, the latter fearing that Iranian weapons will reach their lands.

Tehran asserts that this missile can penetrate the air defense systems of any country in the region.

Russia, North Korea and the United States announced in 2021 that they had conducted tests of hypersonic missiles, which raised fears of a new arms race.

However, Russia appears to be advanced in this field, and announced in March 2022 that it had used hypersonic "Kinjal" missiles in the first weeks of the invasion of Ukraine, which began on February 24.

The unveiling of the new missile comes as Iran seeks to normalize its relations with Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, as it is set to reopen its embassy in Riyadh on Tuesday after a seven-year break.

Media reports reported indirect contacts between Iran and the United States to revive the 2015 agreement, officially called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which restricts Iran's nuclear activities in exchange for the lifting of international sanctions.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken confirmed Monday that President Joe Biden's administration sees Iran as the main threat to the security of the Hebrew state and that it will never be allowed to possess a nuclear weapon.

Serious indications about the escalation of the use of administrative detention

Today, Tuesday, the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs called on human rights and humanitarian institutions to intervene immediately and exercise their influence and relations to put pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop the policy of administrative detention, which has become a sword wielding all the Palestinian people.

The commission revealed the latest data related to this policy, and its excessive use, from the beginning of this year, as the past May witnessed the issuance of 302 administrative decisions, including 130 new administrative orders and 172 extension orders. At the same time, the number of those released and detained as a result of administrative decisions did not exceed twenty detainees. This is an indication that the number of administrative detainees is on the rise rapidly and frighteningly.

It indicated that the total number of administrative detention decisions during the past five months of the current year 2023 (new decisions and renewal orders) amounted to 1,302 decisions, which raised the number of administrative detainees in general to nearly 1,200 detainees.

The Commission confirmed that the use of the administrative detention policy in this manner and approach comes in implementation of the instructions of the extreme right-wing government, and is a dedication to the demands of the extremist minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who stated that pursuing the released prisoners is one of his most important tasks, and therefore nearly 90% of the administrative detainees are Released prisoners who spent different periods in the occupation prisons.

The Commission stressed that the next stage is difficult and dangerous, as the administrative detainees are preparing to wage an open hunger strike, and to confront the policy of collective punishment for which they and their families are paying, as their demands in this direction are clear, which is to stop using this policy, which is now threatening all the children of The Palestinian people in all its categories.

On the anniversary of the 56-year setback that led to the occupation of the rest of the Palestinian land along with Arab lands, in addition to the heavy losses suffered by the Arab side, especially Egypt, Syria and Jordan, where the occupying state occupied part of the lands of these countries that participated in the war 1967, and it suffered a military defeat at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces supported by America and the countries of the colonial West. There are many positive aspects and phenomena that resulted from this war, and even the Israeli aggression against three Arab countries.

Everyone talked about the losses incurred by these countries and the loss of the rest of the Palestinian land, but few talked about the positive phenomena that still affect the occupying state and show that the future belongs to our people and the Arab and Islamic peoples, and that the occupation is destined to disappear, despite the fact that the current stage is alien to Palestine on the internal level, where the devastating division .

Immediately after the setback, the Palestinian resistance appeared, which revived the Palestinian cause again after the occupation thought that its military victory in the June 1967 war would make the Palestinian people calm down and raise the white flag, to the extent that the Prime Minister of the occupying state, Golda Meir, claimed that there is no Palestinian people, except that the state The occupation, as a result of the resistance of the Palestinian people, was forced to recognize our people, despite the fact that some poles of Netanyahu's racist and extreme right-wing government claim that the Palestinian people was invented only a hundred years ago.

Not only that, but the Palestinian struggle and the launch of its contemporary revolution, led by the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole and legitimate representative of our people in all places of its presence inside Palestine and in the diaspora, led to the recognition by the Arab countries of the PLO as the sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, along with the recognition by the United Nations not only of the PLO. liberation, but also the state of Palestine as an observer, and if the Palestinian struggle continued at its previous pace, the world would have been forced to recognize Palestine as a full-fledged member state in the United Nations, and the situation would have been better than it is now, as the struggle in all its forms and means retreated as a result of the devastating division and betting on the settlements that only brought our people More liquidation plots.

The Palestinian resistance has withstood in different stages of the struggle and was defeated along with the Jordanian army in the Battle of Dignity. It restored the dignity of the Jordanian and Arab soldiers and proved that the Israeli army, which was described by its occupation leadership as the invincible army, has been subdued and defeated in more than one incident other than the Battle of Dignity. It came after months of aggression and defeat in 1967, which was termed the setback in order to mitigate its impact on the Arab armies and peoples who were afflicted with temporary shock as a result.

It is true that the internal Palestinian situation only pleases the enemies, due to the political and geographical division, which affected the Palestinian cause. However, this situation will not last forever. Circumstances require all Palestinians to face challenges and achieve more achievements on the road to restoring the inalienable national rights of return. Self-determination and the establishment of an independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

There are many lessons and through the setback, and we must benefit from them, whether positive or negative, to prepare for the next stages to achieve victory and defeat the occupation.

When Netanyahu announced that he would go far in extracting the results of the operation at the Egyptian borders, it did not live up to the Arab or international human mind, not even the Israelis, that he would go to correct the long and ancient path of his state in suppressing the aspirations of the Palestinian people based on killing, demolition, oppression, oppression and displacement. Uprooting and imprisonment is an escalating and systematic daily policy. This cannot, in any way, continue forever.

The Palestinian issue, which occupies the hearts of the Arab peoples from the ocean to the Gulf, as well as the peoples of the world, is not a fleeting issue. It is not an issue of an earthquake that hits Syria, nor of high prices in Egypt, nor the collapse of the currency in Lebanon, nor getting rid of a rival president in Libya or Iraq, nor the crisis of a prince inheriting his father's throne in the Gulf, nor the issue of hunger in Somalia, or water scarcity in Jordan... etc., but it is an issue of rampant conflict between a people who have been abandoned from their land to be settled by a military occupation supported globally by the forces of evil, arrogance and racism and backwardness.

For a whole century, these peoples look to their younger brother, the Palestinian people, to stop targeting and singling them out as a prelude to fairness to them and obtaining their minimum rights. They discover that with the passage of time their persecution and torment increase, until it came to the confiscation of their capital and the undermining of their Islamic sanctities and Christianity alike, and even the possibility of annihilating it, and declaring this openly and publicly by a number of ministers and officials; The raids on Gaza, wiping out Hawara, Sheikh Jarrah, and the Jenin camp, after Sabra, Shatila, Qana, and Yarmouk, and before that Al-Baqaa and Al-Wehdat, and before that Deir Yassin, Kafr Qassem, Al-Dawayima...etc.

The Arab peoples have waited for four generations for the alleged peace between the Arab regime and this murderous state to be fair, for some fairness to be done to this people in the equation of "land in exchange for peace", but this has turned into mere dreams that have no material basis on the ground of reality.

The Arab peoples, including those bordering on Palestine, whose ruling regimes signed the Egyptian Camp David Accords or the Jordanian Wadi Araba Accords, discovered that they are more like a wolf and a sheep. Avgdor Lieberman, when he was Minister of Defense about ten years ago, did not hesitate to threaten to bomb the Egyptian pyramids and destroy them. The High Dam, that was during the Egyptian revolution against Hosni Mubarak, ten years ago, but three months ago, Finance Minister Smotrich declared that Jordan is Israeli territory, and that the Palestinian people are just an illusion that was invented a hundred years ago.

Even the "peace" signed by the PLO on the White House lawn 30 years ago made the Palestinian president, in his last speech at the United Nations two weeks ago, cry out to the world: protect us. And from here came the Egyptian soldier.

The Belgian city of Vervettua cuts ties with the occupation government in response to its racist crimes

The campaign to boycott the Israeli occupation continues by many European cities and institutions and other cities of the countries of the world, in response to the occupation committing crimes of apartheid against the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Last February, Amnesty International called on the Israeli occupation government to dismantle the apartheid regime, which causes so much suffering and bloodshed. The organization stated that since it launched a major campaign against the apartheid regime one year ago, Israeli forces have killed nearly of 220 Palestinians, including 35 in January 2023 alone, stressing that the unlawful killings reflect the maintenance of the Israeli apartheid regime, and constitute crimes against humanity, just like other grave and ongoing violations committed by the Israeli occupation authorities, such as administrative detention And forcible transfer, said Agnès Callamard, Secretary General of Amnesty International: These tragic events that took place and led to the killing of Palestinians once again revealed the deadly cost of the apartheid regime, the failure of the international community to hold the Israeli authorities accountable for the crimes of apartheid, and other crimes It has unleashed the daily isolation, division, control and oppression of Palestinians, and helps perpetuate the deadly violence apartheid is a crime against humanity, and it is frankly appalling to see the perpetrators escape justice year after year. In early 2022, Amnesty International accused the occupation government of perpetuating the apartheid regime and called on countries of the world and international organizations to combat this system.

Since that time, a campaign has begun in many countries of the world to boycott the apartheid regime practiced by the occupation government against the Palestinian people, and in this context, last Wednesday, the thirty-first of last May, the city of Vervieuta in Belgium announced the severing of its relations with the occupying state, in response For committing crimes of apartheid against the Palestinians, and for its repeated violation of the rights of the Palestinian people. The city's decision comes in the wake of similar decisions taken by a number of European municipalities earlier.

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement clarified that this decision came in order to strengthen support for the Palestinian people, noting that Vervieus is the latest European city to sever its relations with the Israeli apartheid regime, and it is noteworthy that the Belgian city council of Liège decided last April to freeze Its relations with Israel, because its system is based on “apartheid, colonialism and military occupation.” On the seventeenth of last April, the mayor of Belém in Brazil, Edmilson Rodriguez, announced the freezing of all institutional relations with Israel, including the cancellation of the twinning agreement with Tel Aviv, In response to Israel's commission of the crime of apartheid against the Palestinians, and its repeated violation of the rights of the Palestinian people, the Norwegian capital Oslo decided, in the same month, to exclude companies that contribute directly or indirectly to the illegal Israeli settlement project, and last February, it decided Mayor of Barcelona, Catalonia, the Spanish state) suspending institutional ties with the Israeli apartheid regime), in turn, the Palestinian National Committee (BNC), the broadest coalition in Palestinian civil society that leads the global boycott of Israel (BDS) movement, welcomed Vervito's decision, and praised the tireless work For the Belgian civil society that made this possible, she urged cities around the world to follow the example of these municipalities, which have frozen their relations with the Israeli apartheid regime, in support of the Palestinian struggle for the dismantling of apartheid.

The expansion of the boycott campaign against the occupation government comes at a time when the most powerful, extreme right-wing government of the Israeli occupation, and the most racist one led by (Netanyahu-Smotrich-Ben Gvir) continues its aggressive policy against the Palestinian people, and after 2022, which was one of the bloodiest years against the Palestinian people, with testimony Amnesty International and other international organizations witnessed an escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories, killings, arrests, land confiscation and settlement expansion, in addition to demolitions and destruction of homes and various facilities, and after a series of racist legislation and laws approved by the Israeli Knesset against the Palestinian people in Jerusalem. And the lands of 48, and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories, especially against prisoners and detainees, including the criminalization of raising the Palestinian flag, imposing the death penalty on prisoners, and other racist laws that violate international humanitarian law and human rights law.

The campaign to boycott this racist regime is respected and appreciated by our people, and it should deepen and expand in all countries and cities that are friendly and supportive of the struggle of our people, until the system of occupation and apartheid is dismantled, and it is evacuated from our occupied Palestinian land, and until our people achieve their independence and self-determination, and until they wrest all His legitimate national rights, and his right to return to his homeland and build his independent state with full sovereignty on his land.

Will the extreme right control the official rabbinate of Israel?

Although the founding of Israel in 1948 was at the hands of a group considered generally secular and non-religious, David Ben-Gurion, the first prime minister of Israel, was keen at that time to recognize the chief Jewish rabbinic that had existed since the Ottoman era, as a religious reference for Western (Ashkenazi) and eastern Jews (Sephardim).

Ben-Gurion considered that the existence of an official rabbinic for the state is an important issue to prove the religious identity of the state, although he was known to be secular and non-religious, and thus recognized the status quo of the chief rabbinic, and established the official form of the chief rabbinic to consist of two rabbis: one representing the western Ashkenazi trend, and the second representing the current The Sephardic Sephardi, so that the chief rabbi is elected once every 10 years, the most recent of which was in 2013, when Rabbi David Lau was elected for the Ashkenazi section, and Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef for the Sephardi section.

Although the majority of the Israeli people in general do not identify themselves as religious, the influence of the Chief Rabbinate is evident in the social and daily life of the country, as the Chief Rabbinate decides on religious provisions related to food certificates, working days and religious holidays that the Israeli government is committed to, and the admission of converts. Judaism and other provisions.

Perhaps the most important feature that distinguishes the role of the Chief Rabbinate of the occupying Power with regard to the city of Jerusalem and the holy places therein is its adherence to the traditional rule of eastern and western religious references throughout history by issuing a fatwa prohibiting the entry of Jews into the walls of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, due to the religious consideration related to the absence of purity according to the religious vision of the rabbinical references In the world.

Since the Israeli occupation of East Jerusalem in 1967, the state’s chief rabbinate ruled that Jews should not enter the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, which had a major role in returning the keys to Al-Aqsa Mosque to the Islamic endowments, with the exception of the Mughrabi Gate, (this is in addition to the fear of the global and Islamic reaction to any change in Al-Aqsa Mosque, of course ). At that time, a dispute arose over the issue of entering the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque between the traditional religious current, which was represented by the chief official rabbinic of the state, and the religious Zionist current, which represented the extreme right, and which was formed at that time from a limited number of extremists headed by Gershon Salmon, Rabbi Meir Kahane and others. .

At that time, the secular Israeli government remained neutral in this dispute, primarily for political considerations and for fear of being considered one of the two camps, even if it was closer to the official rabbinical institution. Therefore, the Israeli Minister of Defense at the time, Moshe Dayan, a non-religious secularist, worked to control the keys to the Mughrabi Gate and open it for whomever of the Jews wanted to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque under the pretext of a tourist visit, not prayer, and at the same time installing panels by order of the official chief rabbinic outside the Mughrabi Gate. And the Chain Gate says clearly in both languages: Hebrew and English, that entering this area is prohibited by order of the Chief Rabbinate of the country.

Based on this reality, the extreme right groups were formed, or the religious Zionist movement that was previously represented by Gershon Salmon and Kahane, and announced their departure from the fatwas of the Chief Rabbinate regarding the issue of entering the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

With the subsequent years, this trend became more and more confined to the settlers of the West Bank, and this current reached its peak of separation from the traditional official rabbinic in the nineties of the last century, when a number of rabbis from the West Bank settlements met and formed a higher religious council that they called the “New Sanhedrin Council,” that is, the Council of the New Sanhedrin. The Council of the New Chief Rabbinate, to consider itself the religious authority for the religious Zionist movement, and to start dealing with the issue of holy places with fatwas that are completely different from the vision of the traditional official rabbinic of the state.

Rather, it came to their members, last year, to remove the fatwa plaque banning entry to Al-Aqsa from the Mughrabi Gate area, and the area remained empty of the plaque until the Chief Rabbinate issued her order to re-install a new plaque in the place. At that time, it was noted that the Israeli police, of which a good number of its members and leaders became followers of the religious Zionist movement, re-installed the sign, but placed it after the last checkpoint before entering the door, meaning that its presence is no longer a deterrent to settlers who want to enter the mosque. maximum.

This hidden conflict between the two religious references, the traditional official rabbinic reference and the settler and religious Zionist movement, has finally moved to a new level. As the end of 2023 witnesses the elections of the Chief Rabbinate of Ashkenazim and Sephardim in the Chief Rabbinate of the country, who will be elected at the end of the Hebrew year that falls before mid-September.

For the first time, we may witness the rise of personalities who tend in some of their ideas to adopt a lenient approach with some of the ideas of the religious Zionist movement to the race of the Chief Rabbinate. On this level, the name of Rabbi Yehuda Hayek stands out as a candidate on the scene for the position of Chief Rabbi, and he is a resident of the Katzrin settlement in the occupied Golan Heights.

This rabbi recently received media support for his candidacy for this position by the extremist journalist Arnon Segal, a member of the board of directors of the Union of Temple Organizations, despite his principled departure from the current opinion of the Chief Rabbinate of prohibiting Jews from entering the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque area. This support from Segal is due to Rabbi Hayek's call to discuss allowing animal sacrifices to be slaughtered inside Al-Aqsa Mosque and how to do so, which is considered by the extremist temple groups as the peak of rituals that they try to implement annually inside Al-Aqsa Mosque and have failed to do so until the moment.

Also, Rabbi Hayek, in a book he recently published, takes a neutral position on the fatwa banning Jews from entering Al-Aqsa, as he declares that he cannot say that it is completely forbidden or completely permitted. He calls them the Ismailis) in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the fear of disturbances within this holy place may lead to the "force" of the occupation police to enter the most sacred area in his view, which is the Holy Rock Square, which is prohibited by the texts of Jewish law, according to what Rabbi Hayek says.

What the views of Rabbi Hayek are based on and the support of the extremist temple groups for him, which form the spearhead of the religious Zionist movement in Jerusalem, is a matter that portends the existence of transformations that may affect the head of the Chief Religious Rabbinate of Israel. After the extremist religious Zionist movement was able to control the most important joints of the Israeli government, with this nomination and support it began to aspire to control the religious institution of the state, and the assumption of a rabbi who was open to discussing the well-established fatwas of rabbis over the centuries regarding the issue of Al-Aqsa Mosque indicates the possibility of opening the way for the Rabbinate. The biggest challenge for the occupying state is to change its fatwa prohibiting Jews from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque in the future, and later it may adopt the fatwas of the rabbis of the settlements.

This matter, if it happens, necessarily means that the moral strength of these extremist religious groups will multiply on the ground. Despite all the current attempts of the religious Zionist movement, the official fatwa of the country’s chief traditional rabbinic is still considered a major obstacle in front of him, preventing him from increasing his strength and mobilizing more supporters and sympathizers with his vision in what relating to sacred places. However, the bias of an official institution the size of the Chief Rabbinate to this trend necessarily means a radical change in the perception of about half of Israeli society about the nature of the conflict in Jerusalem and its religious dimensions.

Observing the modus operandi of this extreme right-wing movement in recent years indicates that it has matured to a large extent in its tools and mechanisms for implementing its vision and its quest to tighten control over all decision-making tools and institutions in Israel.

After this movement took control of central ministries in the Israeli government, it recently established a grouping (lobby) within the Israeli Knesset under the name of the "Jewish Freedom Lobby on the Temple Mount" to convert its vision into laws, and now it is extending its eye to the institution that is more established in the religious currents in Israel than Her different orientations, and she is the chief rabbinic, which is still to this day an extension of the traditional views of Jewish religious references throughout the ages.

It should not be surprising that these groups seek to control this major institution and change their views and orientations. The traditional rabbinical institution has already changed its vision regarding the establishment of Israel, starting since the beginning of the last century, after it had prohibited the establishment of a state for the Jews for hundreds of years, and nothing, in fact, can It is forbidden to change its vision once again with regard to the issue of the size and seriousness of controlling Al-Aqsa Mosque according to the vision of the extreme right in Israel. The combination of all these facts is that the Israeli extreme right is no longer just dreamy individuals, but has become an institution that aspires to implement a major project of a religious nature and has a specific vision that it wants. It should be applied regardless of the obstacles, and this reminds us of the pioneers of the Zionist movement, for whom Israel had only an idea, and Al-Saeed learned from history.

The pharmacist Dr. Riyad Ighbariya, university professor, son of Palestine, from the 48 regions, received a high medal from the Pharmacists Organization, which was received from the head of the organization, Dr. Eyal Spartzburg, during its 21st annual conference last May.

Literally what is written on the medal’s patch is as follows:

The Pharmacists Organization in the country awards the organization’s medal for the year 2023 to:

Prof. Riad Ighbaria for his significant contribution to the promotion of the pharmacy profession in the country, the development of academic programs, and professional training for the pharmacy sector.”

A real, tangible gain, a high-level appreciation, imposing the presence of a professional, who played a role as stated in the motives and decision to award the medal: his great contribution to the promotion of the profession of pharmacy, and the development of professional academic programs for the pharmacy sector.

So, the medal was not a reflection of courtesy or marketing the idea of the non-existence of racial discrimination against the Palestinians by the institutions of the colony. The policies of the colonial government, especially the current Netanyahu government, which is more indulging in political extremism and religious extremism, and its reflection on its official behavior in dealing with the Palestinians of the 48 areas: the people of Carmel, the Galilee, the Triangle, the Negev, and the mixed coastal cities.

The text of the medal says the word "country" and does not mention the word "Israel", which is very interesting, and that the motives for awarding d. Ighbariya owes his abilities, contributions and academic role in the development of the profession of pharmacy.

The people of Palestine in the first occupation zones in 1948, constitute 20 percent of the population, meaning that they are a minority in their country compared to the foreign Jews, who invaded Palestine for many reasons converging at one goal to control Palestine with the power of superiority and with European support previously and American support later.

However, this Palestinian Arab minority imposed its qualitative superiority academically and professionally, especially in the fields of medicine and pharmacy. The figures indicate that more than 40 percent of the colony's pharmacists are Palestinians from the 48 regions, and that 38 percent of the colony's doctors are from the same Palestinian segment.

The Israeli-Jewish challenge, injustice, and discrimination forced the Palestinians to cling to survival and steadfastness in eight Arab cities, such as Nazareth, Sakhnin, Umm al-Fahm, and Rahat, and 58 villages spread along the Carmel, Galilee, and Triangle regions, and five mixed cities: Lod, Ramleh, Jaffa, Haifa, and Acre.

And to excel academically and professionally despite the obstacles they faced in not entering Israeli universities, but the Communist Party previously provided them with scholarships to study in the universities of socialist countries before 1990, and Jordan played its national role in supporting the Palestinian people in the 48 regions through three addresses:

1- Performing Hajj, 2- Performing Umrah, 3- Opening the doors of Jordanian universities through property grants that were presented to credible Arab parties: 1- The Democratic Front for Peace and Equality, 2- The Islamic Movement, 3- The Arab Democratic Party, 4- The Arab Movement For change, 5- The National Democratic Assembly, 6- The Arab National Party, 7- For the Druze community, 8- For the Bedouin community in the Negev, by offering thirty university seats of various disciplines as a royal honor for each party, starting from 1995 to today.

The Palestinian struggle to obtain the right to equality in the 48 areas against discrimination and racism is a struggle that has many forms, tools, methods and addresses. Professional excellence in medicine, pharmacy, law and education is one of these struggle titles. Riyad Ighbaria won this medal in recognition of his superiority, but an expression of this civil struggle choice. And professionally.

Jerusalem and the memory of the passing of Faisal Al-Husseini...and the crisis of leadership

Rasem Obeidat

Rasem Obeidat

Opinion Writer

The leadership crisis in Jerusalem is part of the crisis of the Palestinian leadership, and of the general crisis of the Palestinian political system, which varies relatively between those bodies.... Perhaps the special status of Jerusalem is in terms of the entity’s comprehensive control over the city, through its military, security, police, economic and civil presence, and its fight against it. For all manifestations of Palestinian presence and sovereignty in the city, and its endeavor to prevent any form of that sovereignty from above through the authority and its institutions or popular through forces, committees and institutions, or participatory between the two sides, this calls for striving to create creative thinking, on how to build a Palestinian Jerusalem leadership, as a public body along the lines of The Higher Arab Follow-up Committee in the Palestinian Interior-48, and in order for this body to succeed and develop and gain its legitimacy, it must be liberated from the restrictions of factionalism and narrow calculations. In order to resolve it with the highest level of "savagery" and "encroachment", and a comprehensive attack on the Arab Jerusalemites in it, in order to achieve a demographic and geographic change in it, it can promote Jerusalem as its "eternal capital," says the extremist immigrant to Palestine, the Zionist Minister of Transportation Miri Raghev, whose government monitored 30 billion shekels over five years to develop and create a modern transportation network in the city of Jerusalem, which contributes to its Judaization, and makes public transportation, especially trains and railways, the basis of that transportation, which will be fed by the rest of the other public transportation.

Extremist Loaf speaks of Jerusalem as since the dawn of history, "three thousand years ago, it was the capital of the Jews...and it works with all Jewish extremists and fascism, in order to rob the city of its identity, history, civilization, culture, and narrative, and even its religious sanctities, the Al-Aqsa Mosque..and to "steal" consciousness Its Palestinian Arab population, through a frenzied effort to integrate them into the society and economy of the entity-state... by what tears them apart and dismantles their collective identity, denies their existence as a people, and turns them into mere population gatherings that lack their national, national and cultural characteristics.... and considers the institutions of the entity-state a reference for them.. Therefore, we are witnessing a fierce campaign against the city, in order for all the institutions of the entity-state in the city to replace the Palestinian institutions, and to prevent the crystallization of any form of Palestinian sovereignty in it, and to use to achieve this the might of its military machine and its security, intelligence, police, and civil apparatus from the municipality and the Ministry of Education, Welfare, Transportation, and Affairs Social and other things... Therefore, huge budgets have been allocated for this purpose, for what is known as the civil service, the police, community centers, social welfare services, "familying" education, breaking through the "wall" and the structure of society and working to dismantle it by linking that to reform and family committees affiliated with it .... led Directly by its police..... What we are currently witnessing of the "Israelization" of the entire educational process in the city of Jerusalem, and the complete expulsion and displacement of the Palestinian curriculum also has to do with sovereignty. The national curriculum is a form of sovereignty, and therefore it is clear that it is under a Palestinian authority. Helpless and dilapidated, the entity's state is going to resolve the conflict on this front.

What we have witnessed in many schools in the city of Jerusalem in terms of deviant manifestations, related to “sabotage”, “ironing” and “razing” of awareness, should sound a warning bell in front of everyone in order for them to assume their responsibilities. We are not against our students learning in schools, regardless of The educational reference is the Hebrew language, and therefore it is not permissible in any way to "Branize" the consciousness of our students and alienate it, as this would shake our students' convictions of their rights, identity and belonging, and introduce the culture of "normalization" into their awareness and thought, and herein lies the danger, the loss of the characteristics of our national and cultural existence, Achieving the dream of the leaders of the entity state, by dismantling the awareness of our students and controlling their collective memory.

It is true that during the era of Commander Faisal Al-Husseini, which passed less than a week ago, the 22nd anniversary of his death, he formed a unifying leader for the Palestinian political, national and societal spectrum in the city, and he possessed leadership “charisma” that enabled him to play this leadership role, by communicating with the masses and standing up to their concerns And its daily problems, and striving to solve them... But in order for the leadership approach to be fair, it must be said that the late great Faisal Al-Husseini had a set of factors and circumstances that allowed him to play and exercise this leadership role. There is the headquarters "Orient House", and there is The capabilities, and there are the forces and the masses rallied around it, and the "gene" of division had not hit the Palestinian arena, and so was the headquarters of the "Orient House", the political headquarters of the Palestine Liberation Organization, which enjoys some kind of immunity, and this facilitated work and communication between the leadership and the masses, but who After the abortion of the first intifada, the hasty political exploitation of its results, and the signing of the disastrous Oslo agreement, which the entity state, despite all its flaws, defects, and serious repercussions, refused to implement, the second intifada came, and Sharon launched, in September 2000, an all-out war against our Palestinian people, the “defensive wall.” And the consequent closure of Palestinian institutions, including the "Orient House", as the headquarters of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and after that many official references were formed for Jerusalem, the Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs, a governorate, a popular national conference, the unit of the presidency in the office of the president, the official of Jerusalem In the executive committee of the organization...all of these official bodies were not allowed to operate or exercise their authority, sovereignty and role within the borders of the apartheid walls in Jerusalem. Rather, the entity's government and its intelligence services sought and worked to punish anyone who tried to exercise a work, role, or activity for the authority Or in its name in the city of Jerusalem - inside the apartheid wall, and there are those who lead these references, who adapt to the policy of the entity state, and there are those who rebel against that policy, and were subjected to a series of sanctions, and so that some do not hunt and carry words with certain meanings and purposes, we do not question one's affiliation or nationality.

In light of the complex and complex situation experienced by the people of Jerusalem, and the massive targeting of them by the entity state, at all levels and levels, I see that a public, popular Jerusalemite leadership body is formed, which takes responsibility for the civil, social and legal issues of Jerusalemites, provided that the issue of national political rights remains one of The jurisdiction of the Palestinian official authorities, the Palestine Liberation Organization.

We realize that there will be no immunity or protection for this leadership body, in light of an extreme right-wing and Jewish fascist government that wants to exclude and get rid of as much of the Palestinian population as possible from the city, and the European Union, America and what is known as the international community, cannot be relied upon to support this body Leadership and protection for him... However, practical initiatives must be proposed to create a leadership body that will be a title for Jerusalemites, unite them and defend their life, living and civil rights, because Jerusalem is on the verge of very difficult days.

Fifty-six years after the occupation of 1967.. the Palestinian issue, where to?

Jamal Zaqout

Jamal Zaqout

Opinion Writer

Two of the Palestinian people do not differ on the extent of the danger that the Palestinian cause faces, and on the liquidation schemes against national rights, including the liquidation of the ability to survive and exist.

You hear such talk from the overwhelming majority of the vast majority of people, and the frequency of blaming the leadership that dominates the divisive scene and its failed political options, "the antagonist and the negligent" responsible for this reality, and the resulting disintegration of the national movement, is escalating, and this is 100 percent true, but it depends. At that point, despite the scattered embryonic attempts that seek to change it, while the suffering of this majority and the concern over its national destiny continues and deepens. You also hear sayings warning of the danger to the national destiny of those who dominate this scene and cling to their factional and private interests, and they repeat laments of holding the world responsible for Israel's aggression and escalating aggressiveness, and although this is also true, it is only faced by the struggle over the crumbs of power and the threat of its dissolution. Through the policy of appeasing the enemy in pursuit of mere survival, as if the occupation is the source of their legitimacy, and not the people whose constitutional and national right was confiscated by electing their representatives, choosing their leadership, correcting the path, restoring the cause to its place, and retrieving the rights from its usurpers, so how can one unite by appeasing the enemy and asking the world to confront its aggression?!

The path of change, or at least radical reform and its entitlements, has become known in terms of the goal and the road map that might lead to it. However, it seems that the question of what social forces are qualified to lead this change is still vague and the answer to it is more vague, and it must be concretely addressed if we are serious. By bringing about institutionalized change or reform, in a way that contributes to the crystallization of an influential and widespread movement, and opens towards the requirements of a struggle strategy that preserves the national rights of our people, and provides the elements for people’s ability to withstand and survive as the main lever for any national project or struggle strategy to achieve it.

Until now, the diagnosis of reality and the attempt to prescribe a treatment has not left the answer to the question, which is whether it is possible to get out of the bottleneck by restoring the senses of those who brought us into it, i.e. by agreeing to end the division, or that leaving the bottleneck requires a different social carrier even if that results in a break. the same bottle. It is self-evident that those who "slipped" about the national cause and the reality of the state of division, "and I say they slipped out of caution against taking the risk of making accusations easy, or questioning the patriotism of whoever it is," and after sixteen years of its continuation towards a state of separation, they are realizing and repeating that what is happening is not It serves only Israel, yet they do nothing to stop this farce, which in fact formed a base and a spearhead that dared the Zionist project to adopt a strategy according to which the solution to the crisis of their subjugating colonial project lies in the possibility of liquidating the Palestinian national project, and completing the plans to uproot the Palestinians from this country as a requirement. To extricate the Zionist project from its bottleneck and its historical crisis, which explains the rapid shifts in the Israeli regime towards the fascist right, which is at the forefront and capable of accomplishing that task.

It has become clear that whoever brought the situation to this point is unwilling or at best unable, and may still believe that it is not in his interest to change, meaning that he will not be part of either the revision, nor the future of opening the way for the people’s participation in the process of change, but rather He will obstruct it with all his remaining strength, including more concessions to the enemy and not just appeasing him in order to survive and win the representation of the security agency.

And so it is; What is to be done to preserve the sacrifices and achievements that our people paid dearly for with the blood of their children and the suffering of an entire people since the "Nakba 48" and the defeat of 1967, whose anniversary coincided with the fifth of June yesterday. I have already indicated that this requires building a broad popular front to overthrow the culture of division, domination, exclusion and the monopoly of power And resources, and a return to the syndrome of unity and democracy, but the question that has not yet been answered is how can this be done? Here and from a position of realizing that the popular majority is affected and feels the extent of the imminent danger, but believes in the difficulty of change due to the interdependence of factional interests and the self-opportunism of those who hold the reins of the scene and support the forces Regional and Israeli interest to keep the situation as it is.

The possibility of restoring the national cause from the clutches of division and preserving rights towards restoring it from the teeth of the bulldozers and plans of the occupation is an integral responsibility from the lowest to the highest and vice versa. Here the debate should focus on who are the personalities who qualify for this in terms of their patriotism, their local, regional and international standing, their cleanliness and experience, to launch a clear, specific and tangible collective initiative in which they assume their historical responsibilities by throwing a serious stone into the stagnant pond, in a way that converges with the aspirations of the silent majority and responds to them, giving them The hope for the possibility of change even if it requires a social revolution and the willingness to pay its price, which opens the realistic possibility of restoring the status of the Palestinian cause and the unifying national institutions and the compass of the national struggle against the occupation. Even with a minimal responsibility not to confront such an initiative and to respond to the transitional road map presented by it, especially in terms of involving everyone in leading the national destiny in preparation for fair and transparent democratic elections, or they have placed themselves outside the scope of responsibility entrusted to them and what that means in terms of entitlements.

The long truce and coexistence with division

Egyptian Hani

Egyptian Hani

Opinion Writer

The Egyptian capital is witnessing intense movements, starting with the visit of a ministerial delegation headed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh, who received a remarkable hospitality, which was reflected in the reception of Mustafa Madbouly, the Egyptian Prime Minister, for Shtayyeh at the airport, in addition to a meeting with Abbas Kamel, the Minister of Intelligence, and ending with the conclusion of a number of agreements in various fields.

It is remarkable that Cairo invited two delegations from the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements, each separately, and requested that the two delegations be formed at the highest level, in addition to inviting, in parallel and simultaneously, a government delegation representing the de facto authority in Gaza, and this is not to discuss reconciliation and achieving unity, as this matter - It seems - it is behind us, but rather to discuss strengthening the authority in the Strip, and reaching a relatively long temporary truce, which opens the way for the establishment of strategic projects in the context of developing relations, especially Egyptian trade, economic and security relations with the Gaza Strip; It amounted to 35%, according to some sources, and 50%, according to other sources, of the total exchange volume of the sector. The importance of this stems from the fact that the funds obtained from the clearing of goods will be fully returned to the Hamas authority, and this allows for greater imports without full Israeli control. The important thing is that the topics under discussion will strongly affect the future of the Palestinian case.

It is also remarkable that this momentum came after the battle of "Revenge of the Free", whose continuation threatened to expand the battle by entering the Al-Qassam Brigades and other battalions. Does this mean that things have become easier to pass the long truce and strategic projects, and the expected result in the event of the success of the above, and I stress if it succeeds To weaken the authority of Ramallah and strengthen the authority of Hamas and its government (especially with the Qatari grant and the entry of Gazan workers to work inside the Green Line) at the expense of the Qassam Brigades; Because improving the conditions of the blockade is not done as a charitable act, but rather it will have a Palestinian return.

The greater indication of what is happening is that the division is deepening, and that authority is required (as an analyst); Because some issues require its existence, such as: fulfilling remaining obligations towards the sector, international aid that passes in its name, and extracting gas from the Marin field; Where it is necessary for the legitimate authority to exist, and for Egypt to exist because it is a state, and such agreements are concluded with countries, and Israel because it is the occupying state.

And until the arrangements are completed, a truce is supposed to be reached, and since it is impossible to reach a permanent truce; Because it loses "Hamas" justification for its existence and legitimacy as a resistance movement, and therefore the search is underway for a long temporary truce for several years.

It is not desirable for all parties to continue the Israeli aggression on the Strip every several years, and in the last period every year, as this results in a variety of human and material losses for the Strip, as well as causing various losses to Israel, especially to the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip.

What is being collected is achieved

First: As a result of the Israeli policy that adopted a strategy that does not occupy the Gaza Strip; Because: First, the losses you can incur as a result. Secondly, the lack of clarity about the party that can replace the authority of "Hamas". The authority is in Ramallah due to the continued incursions, assassinations and arrests, and Israel's long-time non-compliance with its obligations under the Oslo Accords, and its refusal to resume negotiations and the political process, in addition to the Fatah disputes and divisions, and the competition over the caliph and successors. ; It has become more weak, and it cannot return to Gaza, and it may not want to return, and if it returns, it cannot rule it, and if the occupation government occupies the Strip, it does not want to stay in it. And third, and most important, is the adoption of an Israeli strategy since the division, based on preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state. Therefore, the continuation, deepening and generalization of the division is a central approved Israeli goal, regardless of the ruling government in Israel.

Second: the failure of all attempts and initiatives aimed at ending the division, to the extent that there is a kind of acceptance of the division and an increasing coexistence with it.

Third: Some of the Arab and regional parties are biased towards one of the two sides of the division, others towards the second, and the third is indifferent and preoccupied with their own concerns. Which leads to division. As for the international parties, they are either unjust or oppressed with Israel, such as the United States and Britain, or they want a political process, achieving a “two-state solution” and ending the division, such as Europe, the United Nations and many international parties, but they found in the division an excuse for not doing what they had to do.

There remains a very important point: how can resistance factions whose people and land are under a settler, colonial, racist substitutionary, non-compliant settlement that achieves the minimum level of Palestinian rights, accept a temporary truce for years, that could lead to a long-term truce, under an Israeli government that adopts A plan to quickly resolve the conflict with the Palestinians, and what does that mean in terms of greater settlement and Judaization, assassinations, home demolitions, arrests, more crimes, and internal displacement to complete the conditions for annexing Areas (C) in preparation for a later stage in which numbers of Palestinians will be internally and externally voluntary and forcibly displaced?

It may be said that the Gaza Strip remains a support base for the rising resistance in the West Bank, which is more effective than rockets. This allows a limited margin for movement. Because the occupation will not allow the resistance in Gaza to support and escalate the resistance in the West Bank, and enjoy the advantages of improving the terms of the blockade and the long-term truce, so a truce for years in Gaza will lead sooner or later to a truce in the West Bank.

Someone might say that the battle on all fronts is coming, the battle of decisiveness and victory, and the unity of the arenas will be achieved, and this is just a scenario, and not the most likely scenario. Problems, to the point of resuming negotiations on the Iranian nuclear file.

Also, the Palestinian resistance, in spite of what unites it with Iran and Hezbollah, which is a lot, there is something that separates it. The Iranian priority is the interests of Iran, and it supports and uses the Palestinian cause as much as it serves the Iranian interests, and this is the prevailing in the world. Tehran will not go to war with Israel in support of the Palestinian cause unless this coincides with an Iranian interest, and if this is not the case, then why have we not witnessed an Iranian-Israeli war despite all that the occupation governments have done against the Palestinians, and the continued hostility and escalation of tension between them, and why have we not witnessed Since 2006, a war between Hezbollah and Israel?! Of course, we must not lose sight of the importance of power asymmetry in light of the organic relationship between Tel Aviv and Washington.

Iran realizes that it needs time to be able to win a war, but if war is imposed on it, there is no escape from it. Any will not initiate war until further notice.

It is also supposed to study the feasibility of Palestinian participation in an Iranian-Israeli war, and not to take this matter as a foregone conclusion in all cases, especially if it was not triggered by Palestine. Because there are Israeli plans in place in the event of a regional war to displace Palestinians from inside the Green Line and from the West Bank inside and outside, and the argument in this case will be security.

In addition to the above, reaching all these arrangements requires a democratic process. The de facto forces are participating in the Cairo talks in the two regions, and they are illegitimate in light of the lack of elections and without national consensus, and without participation or even consultation with civil movements, forces, institutions, return committees, Palestinians abroad, and legal personalities.

If, as it is said, the devil's work opens, and if there is Palestinian unity and will based on one vision and strategies, including combining forms of struggle, focusing on boycott and legal prosecution, demanding rights, and popular resistance as a main method; The opportunities that will be available would be much more than the challenges and risks, so why not take advantage of the wave of Arab and regional reconciliations to include the Palestinian arena? This requires will, awareness, initiative, and continuous popular, political, and accumulated public pressure.

This is what the Israeli investigation focuses on in the "Fedayeen Egypt" operation.

The IDF's ongoing investigation into Saturday's shooting at the Egyptian border that killed three Israeli soldiers, and the Egyptian policeman Mohamad Salah, is focusing on specific aspects of the operational failure to deal with its infiltration and its subsequent response.

According to the Hebrew Maariv newspaper, the results of the preliminary investigation will be presented to the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Herzi Halevy, early next week.

According to the newspaper, the operational investigation is divided into two parts, the first is the entire initial event when two soldiers were killed at the site after the bomber infiltrated "Israeli territory" and surprised them, and the second is the confrontation incident in which the third soldier was killed.

The newspaper pointed out that there is criticism within the Israeli army regarding the decision to launch an attack against the port after locating it without waiting for air support or additional forces, after isolating the uninhabited area in which it was located and benefiting from the capabilities of the army in the possibility of confronting it.

According to the newspaper, the pursuit of the port, the closure of the area, the method of the operation and its management, and communication with the Air Force will be the focus of the investigation, referring to the criticism of the issue of the long 12-hour shifts during which the soldiers are required to be present at the designated points, in addition to not communicating with them every hour, to Case side of the emergency exit locked with plastic handcuffs.

Senior officers in the Israeli army said that the decision to launch an attack to quickly liquidate the crossing came because of the fear that it would reach the roads through which the Israelis travel.

Israeli military sources believe that there are major failures, and therefore the army is currently focusing on the collapse of the entire defense system concept in the area, especially in all permanent sites along the fence.
