WFP: Humanitarian needs are enormous as displaced return to the north

The World Food Programme said that "humanitarian needs in the Gaza Strip are enormous, amid the return of displaced Palestinian families to their areas in the north," after about 15 months of Israeli genocide.

The program stressed, in a post on its account on the "X" platform, yesterday evening, that "any hope for the recovery of the Gaza Strip requires a comprehensive humanitarian response with the cooperation of all UN agencies."

“As displaced Palestinian families return to northern Gaza, our teams are working to set up more distribution points to provide much-needed food,” he added.

The UN programme described the humanitarian needs in Gaza as "enormous".

He also published a video clip showing hundreds of displaced Palestinians walking towards the north of the Strip amidst destroyed buildings.
