Italy: We are ready to be part of the efforts to strengthen the authority in the West Bank and Gaza

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said that the Gaza Strip issue is among the issues being discussed by the G7 countries.
Tajani added in an interview with Al Jazeera that Italy is ready to be part of the efforts to strengthen the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
He explained that there is a clear document and American proposal, and that his country supports Biden’s proposal to bring peace to the region.
He pointed out serious attempts to support the population in Gaza and that this issue is considered a top priority.
He said: There are efforts to bring peace, and we are working with Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the Arab countries for that, pointing to his country’s belief and support for peace not only in Gaza but in other regions such as Lebanon.
