Today, Monday, the Israeli Public Prosecution decided not to appeal a judicial decision to acquit the policeman who killed martyr Iyad al-Hallaq in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem on May 30, 2020.
This decision means that the Israeli policeman obtains a complete acquittal, despite the existence of evidence confirming the execution of the martyr al-Hallaq without any guilt.
Al-Hallaq is a person with special needs, as he was shot just because he was suspected.
The Israeli Central Court had acquitted the policeman who followed it on the sixth of July last month.
