Israeli occupation forces stormed the house of the Palestinian Governor of Jerusalem Adnan Ghaith in the neighborhood of Silwan on Sunday evening.
Local sources said that the troops stormed Ghaith's home in order to check that he was abiding by conditions of his house arrest.
Ghaith has been arrested several times by Israel over charges that he has entered the West Bank illegally and held Palestinian Authority events in Jerusalem, which is forbidden by Israeli law.
