The Islamic Bloc, the student framework of the "Hamas" movement, succeeded in achieving a new victory in the Palestinian university elections in the West Bank.
The bloc, which calls itself the Islamic Loyalty Bloc, won the Birzeit University elections after it won 25 seats in the elections held today.
While the Martyr Yasser Arafat bloc achieved the student framework of the "Fatah" movement, with 20 seats, and the Democratic Pole Bloc, with 6 seats.
The number of seats in the Council is 51, while the percentage of voting is 77%.
The Islamic bloc had won the elections of An-Najah National University in Nablus a few days ago.
