Today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces closed the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.
According to local sources, dozens of settlers stormed the neighborhood under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, who closed it and prevented Palestinian citizens from entering or leaving it, in order to secure "the settlers' celebration of the Flame Festival."
The "Feast of the Flame" is a holiday that calls for expanding settlements in occupied Jerusalem in general, and in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in particular.
