In response to McCarthy.. Kirby: There is no specific date for inviting Netanyahu to the White House

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said Monday evening that he believes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the White House at some point.

Kirby was commenting in response to a question asked during the daily briefing to reporters, about the statements of US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who is currently visiting Tel Aviv, and who said that "if Netanyahu is not invited to the White House, he will invite him to Congress."

Kirby said, commenting, according to a special follow-up to "Jerusalem" dot com: "At the present time, there is nothing related to a timetable for such a visit."

And he indicated that US President Joe Biden wants to see judicial reform in Israel that maintains checks and balances and enjoys a broad consensus.

He added, "This is something that leaders in Israel need to resolve and we respect that... but we are having frank discussions about our concerns." like he said.
