Police seize 82 seedlings suspected of being narcotic marijuana in Bethlehem

Bethlehem - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Palestinian police seized, on Friday evening, 82 seedlings suspected of being narcotic marijuana in the town of Za'tara, south of Bethlehem.

The Public Relations and Media Department of the Police stated that after receiving information to the police that people were suspected of planting marijuana seedlings in the town of Za’tara, south of Bethlehem, a force from the Anti-Narcotics Branch, backed by a police force from the governorate, immediately moved to the place and seized 82 seedlings suspected of being narcotic marijuana. Its length is from 15-40 cm and it has been investigated.

She added that the police are still conducting research and investigation procedures about the people who were taking care of these seedlings to bring them to justice.

The police appeal to citizens to communicate with the competent authorities or to call (100) in case of suspicion of any person cultivating this scourge that is destroying society.
