Kiev - (AFP) - A nuclear reactor at the Zaporizhia plant in southern Ukraine has been suspended due to Russian bombings, according to the police operating the atomic power plants, Energoatom, while an inspection team from the International Atomic Energy Agency is awaiting the arrival of the site.
And the company wrote in a statement on the Telegram application that at approximately 01:57 GMT, and following the launch of "a mortar shell at the site of the Zaporizhya station, the emergency system was activated and Unit No. 5 was stopped."
