In a parallel development, the Israeli occupation authorities released 15 Palestinian prisoners from their jails, with the International Committee of the Red Cross undertaking the task of ensuring their arrival. The transfer took place via the Kerem Shalom border crossing to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital to receive the necessary medical care.
On the ground, a new phase began in the southern Strip with the launch of the first official tender dedicated to removing rubble in the city of Rafah, amidst warnings of Israeli plans aimed at manipulating the coastal geography and using the debris of destroyed buildings in land reclamation operations in parts of the sea, which brings the reconstruction file back to the forefront of the field scene.
