Injuries in settler attacks, occupation disrupts wheat harvest in Nablus

Israeli occupation forces, today Saturday, prevented Palestinian farmers from reaching their lands in the Beit Furik plain, east of Nablus city. This prevention came at the peak of the wheat harvest season, as occupation soldiers, accompanied by groups of settlers, spread throughout the area to prevent the completion of agricultural work and secure the settlers' presence.

In another field development, sources in the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that three citizens sustained various injuries as a result of an attack carried out by settlers in the Al-Badoon area, east of Salfit governorate. Ambulance crews intervened urgently to provide first aid to the injured before transferring them to the hospital for follow-up on their health condition.

Al-Badoon area, extending between Salfit city and the village of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, is considered a flashpoint that witnesses repeated attacks by settlers who seek to control the lands of the residents. These attacks vary between physical assaults, destruction of agricultural crops, and preventing farmers from accessing their fields under the protection of the occupation army.

Regarding arrests, occupation forces detained eight young men from Qalqilya city while they were attempting to pass through the Attara military checkpoint located north of Ramallah city. This step comes within the policy of restricting movement between Palestinian cities through the military checkpoints spread deep in the West Bank.

Also in Ramallah governorate, a large military force raided the village of Deir Abu Mash'al at dawn today, and the operation resulted in the arrest of four citizens. Local sources stated that occupation soldiers raided a number of homes and tampered with their contents, causing a state of panic among the peaceful residents before the force withdrew from the village.

In Nablus city, occupation forces continued their raiding operations that targeted several neighborhoods, most notably the Jabal Fatair area. Field sources reported that the invading forces arrested a young man after thoroughly searching his home, while the area witnessed intensive military movements during the early morning hours.

In a related context, occupation forces tightened their military measures around the village of Al-Mughayyir by closing its main entrance, coinciding with the storming of the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah. The forces confiscated surveillance camera recordings from shops and homes as part of extensive search and sweep operations.

Incursions did not stop there, but extended to include the town of Al-Yamoun west of Jenin city, and Salfit city, in addition to Aqabat Jaber refugee camp in Jericho city. These simultaneous military movements come within the framework of a continuous escalation targeting various governorates of the West Bank, which further complicates the field situation.

Medical sources reported that three Palestinians were injured as a result of an attack carried out by settlers in the Al-Badoon area, east of Salfit governorate, where they were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
