Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported, early Saturday, an increase in the number of victims of the Israeli raid that targeted a residential apartment in the heart of Gaza City to three martyrs, in addition to a number of injuries of varying severity among residents and neighbors.
The Directorate of Ambulance and Emergency explained that the concentrated shelling hit a residential unit in the central areas of the city, causing widespread destruction at the site and damage to surrounding homes, while ambulances rushed to transport the victims to nearby hospitals.
For its part, civil defense and rescue teams began intensive field operations to comb through the rubble and search for trapped or potential victims under the debris, confirming that efforts are still ongoing to ensure the evacuation of all injured from the scene of the targeting.
The death toll from the occupation's shelling, which targeted a residential apartment in the center of Gaza City, rose to 3 martyrs and a number of injured.
