West Bank.. Palestinian injured in clashes with Israeli army and settlers

Clashes erupted on Saturday evening between Palestinians, the Israeli army, and settlers in various areas of the occupied West Bank, resulting in the injury of a Palestinian youth.

Voice of Palestine radio reported that a youth was injured after settlers attacked residents' homes in the town of Beita, south of Nablus city (north), without providing further details on the nature of the injury.

The youths confronted the settlers in the Al-Zahra area on the outskirts of Beita.

In a separate incident south of Nablus as well, Palestine TV indicated that a Palestinian home on the outskirts of Burin village was attacked with stones by settlers.

On the raids front, the TV said that clashes erupted "between the youths and occupation forces in the towns of Na'lin and Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya, west and northwest of Ramallah city (center)".

The army also raided the city of Tubas and the villages of Rummana and Kafr Dan, west and northwest of Jenin city (north), the town of Anabta east of Tulkarm city (north), and the villages of Al-Mughayyir, Shabtin, and Jaljulia in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate.

In the southern West Bank, the radio indicated that clashes erupted during the army's raid on the town of Beit Amr, north of Hebron city.

Also in the southern West Bank, the official Palestinian news agency "WAFA" said that the Israeli army arrested an entire family from the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem city.

The agency noted that "occupation forces arrested the citizen Mahmoud Ouda Ghazal (55 years old) and his wife Leila Khalil Abu Dia (50 years old) and their sons: Abdul Rahman (20 years old) and Muhammad (27 years old) and his wife Hiba Taqatqa (25 years old), after raiding and searching their home".

It indicated that the arrest came hours after more than 30 settlers raided the village earlier on Saturday, wounding a child with gunfire, and raiding a school and a number of homes.

Since the start of the genocide war in Gaza on October 8, 2023, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the killing of at least 1,105 Palestinians, injuring about 11,000, in addition to arresting more than 21,000.

Meanwhile, the Israeli genocide with American support in Gaza has left more than 71,000 Palestinian dead and 171,000 injured, mostly children and women, and destruction affecting about 90 percent of the civilian infrastructure, with the United Nations estimating the reconstruction cost at about 70 billion dollars.
