Amid mounting pressure on the Palestinian health system, France – through AFD – is supporting an ambitious project to renovate and expand Saint Joseph Hospital in East Jerusalem.
With the backing of the European Union’s PEEB Med program and the cofinancing of the Qatar Fund for Development, the initiative combines upgraded infrastructure, new medical services, and cutting-edge energy efficiency solutions.
These improvements strengthen access to specialized care, enhance patient treatment, and significantly reduce the hospital’s energy consumption. Through testimonies and on-site footage, the video reflects a partnership committed to building a more modern, sustainable, and resilient hospital for the Palestinian population.
