Sisi invites Trump to attend the signing of the anticipated agreement regarding Gaza.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has invited his American counterpart Donald Trump to attend the signing of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, should it be reached in Sharm El Sheikh, amid optimism surrounding the negotiations being conducted under what is known as the Trump plan.

The 'Cairo' news channel reported el-Sisi as saying during a graduation ceremony for a new batch of police academy students, "I send a message to President Trump to continue his support for reaching an agreement regarding Gaza."

El-Sisi added that Trump sent his envoys (Steve Mnuchin and Jared Kushner) with a clear mandate to work on ending the Gaza war, praising the American president's efforts to end the war in Gaza.

The Egyptian president emphasized that Cairo is keen to ensure the success of the Sharm El Sheikh negotiations to end the war in the sector.

The indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Egypt are witnessing international momentum with the arrival of high-level delegations from Turkey, Qatar, and the United States today, Wednesday, raising expectations that the situation will become clearer soon.

On September 29, Trump announced a plan consisting of 20 points, including: prisoner exchanges, a ceasefire, and the disarmament of Hamas.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported - citing an unnamed Israeli source - that the United States is managing the negotiations that began the day before yesterday at an accelerated pace to close outstanding issues, but so far it cannot be said that anything has been achieved effectively.

Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 12 (private) reported today that the military establishment expects the situation to become clearer within a few days through the ongoing intensive negotiations in Egypt.

It quoted a high-level Israeli security source as saying that the current conditions, both on the ground and politically, have created favorable circumstances for progress towards an agreement to end the war and return the 'captives.'

On the second day of negotiations, Egypt began discussing lists of Palestinian prisoners intended for release from Israeli prisons, in addition to exploring a mechanism for Israeli withdrawal.

For its part, Hamas requested clarifications and guarantees regarding the implementation of Trump's plan, particularly concerning the end of the Israeli genocide, according to 'Cairo' news, citing unnamed sources.
